This is the place to go for quick takeout dim sum. The place is clean and plenty of seating.

Ordered through uber eats - food came hot and fresh! I ordered the wonton noodle soup and the pan fried pork buns. The wonton noodle soup definitely satisfied my craving and they give a GENEROUS amount of noodles and wontons. I also really like that they packaged the soup separate from all the ingredients. Flavor is very authentic as well. Pan fried pork buns were juicy and tasty. Overall, would definitely order from this place again.

I ordered take out. Shrimp and chive cake. Not a drop of shrimp. But there was this large cicada like insect. I feel sick. Never ordering again

We ordered take out and the dumplings were all great. Our personal favorite was the steamed shrimp dumplings.

Came here on a Friday afternoon with my friend who suggested this spot. The place is bright and clean. Ended up ordering the pork soup dumpling ($7.95) which comes in 4 and was alright, was more of a juicy dumpling. Kinda disappointed since I was looking forward to it. Also got the pork rice noodle roll ($5.95) which I really enjoyed and first time trying it. It was chewy and had a good balance ratio with the pork. The bbq pork puff pastry ($5.95) was sweet and the flaky texture was unique. Solid place and the food seemed to be made to order. * Parking on premise * Male and female separate bathrooms

Originated in southern China's Guangdong region before eventually making their way to Hong Kong, dim sum is translated to English, meaning "touch the heart." It is a traditional Chinese meal made up of small plates of dumplings and other snack dishes and is usually accompanied by tea.   I've decided to pay Dim Sum Station located on River Street in Hackensack after a year. Since there was no table service, this was setup a bit like a fast food establishment where one orders from the counter and waits until your number is called.   The menu comprised an assortment of seafood, meat, and vegetable dishes that are prepared in various ways: steamed, fried, or baked. Their selection was smaller compared to other restaurants I've visited in NYC.     Greeted by the staff, I decided on the Har Gaw and Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup. Har Gaw (shrimp dumpling) is one of the most popular dishes. These are chunks of shrimp encased in a thin, translucent dumpling wrapper and served in a plastic container. They were tender, chewy, and soft. The Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup has giant shrimp wontons filled with a generous quantity of shrimp that tasted fresh and succulent. The noodles were authentic Hong Kong style--springy and thin.   For dining in, every dish was served in plastic takeout containers. Prices can be a little expensive, and the service is always friendly. All forms of payment are accepted. There's a small parking lot available on the side and back, but suggest coming early and during the week. They take their food seriously while not so much the dining experience, which I continue to recommend.

Entirely worth a one hour drive from NY! Loved this place and how they do not force customers to pay tip, since it is a self-service establishment. Their dimsum reminded me of home and they had a great selection.

My original review years ago must have been an off day. Eating today and everything is great. It's not Chinatown prices but don't have to deal with tolls or traffic! Self-serve style indoor eating, so no tip. Parking lot in the back.

This was a take out experience. Hard to find a dim sum spot in this area. So I was very happy to find this. We ordered most of the vegetarian/pescatarian options. Food was ready to go quickly. Service was smooth and easy. It definitely seemed face-paced and clean. The food was good enough. I would order from here again. Some of the shrimp dim sum wasn't as satisfying in taste (perhaps from being overcooked or a bit dry) and please peek in the bag to make sure you have enough sauce to your liking. We had to ask for more and they were still a bit frugal in my opinion for the amount of food we had. But overall it's good enough so I'm happy to have another option and one that is available for delivery!

Not the best looking decor inside but very effecting. Order by the counter then they will bring the food to you. Staff is very nice and friendly. Dim sum is definitely 5 stars. Love their Hor Gaw (shrimp dumpling), shrimp shu mai and pan fried turnip cake.

Hargow Shumai Steamed rice roll w shrimp Tofu skin wrap

Dim sum is the worse when the cover is too thick, and almost all of them are here. The shumai is probably the best one and the no-soup fried bun is the worst along with the soup dumpling lol. The soy sauce is here is also too sour. Usually I like the salted egg bun, but for some reasons it feels too much here.

What is in the Triple Delight? It looks good, just wondering if it has fried tofu for the one dish.

Its pepper, eggplant and tofu, all three wrapped with shrimp. I was excited to order it, but didn't like the actual dish after it came out :(

Is ordering on line quicker than in person -for pick up?

Or you can simply call them to place the order. They can tell you how long it would take for your food to be ready.

The beef looking plate was just as good in its own way. The chicken drumsticks are A FAVORITE!! Wow those are so delicious and crispy. The tea is always a delight to drink with the meals. Can't remember the other two meals, but they were all good. My party split them all four ways to try everything and it was delightful. I don't feel icky after eating so much, and the portions are huge. Waiter was very patient with my grandmother who 1) doesn't speak english 2) is diabetic so we had to find something safe for her to eat. 110% recommend this place to anyone. It's vegetarian/vegan only, but honestly the food was better than meals I've had with meat. Food felt good to eat, i didn't feel sick or overly full and heavy from it all. Legit Chinese/Taiwainese noodle soup at the mall? For real? YES, FOR REAL…read more Having lived in NYC for many decades, I was very spoiled by my seemingly "next door" access to authentic Chinese/Taiwanese food and, more specifically, noodle soups. On those cold, wintry days, it was my go-to entree and not much can substitute for those hot, tasty broths, noodles and meats. Anyway, for the size of this state, possibly the best Chinese noodle soup served in town might very well be at the mall! Yes, it's going to be a dollar or two overpriced, but beggars absolutely cannot be choosers. Most customers at the mall come here really just for the Americanized Chinese food that is generously served here in gargantuan, fully packed takeout boxes - fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, chicken w/ broccoli, barbecue chicken, General Tso's chicken, etc., etc., etc. However, no offense to Yong Kang Street, but, I wasn't here for any of that greasy food because, honestly, you can get that ANYWHERE. We ended up ordering the Roast Duck Noodle Soup and Wonton Noodle Soup, both of which were actually made to order as I watched the lady put the super duper hot bowl together. The bowl was actually so hot that even 1.5 hours after I got home, the soupy bowl was still piping hot! Anyhow, the noodle soup was surprisingly delicious. The noodles were a bit soft, but the broth was very flavorful without being overly salty. There was some Chinese Broccoli and chopped up scallions in the noodle soups and they really added to the flavor of the entree. The meats were also very good. As we were eating, my question was - where does this place find their duck?!? Because it was pretty good duck meat. We also loved their pork wontons as well. Typically, the wontons served with noodle soups are made with pork and shrimp, but it was just pork here...and, well, it worked! The wontons were very delicious and well put together. Never would I have thought a small mall vendor would serve some of the best noodle soup in the area, but Yong Kang does. Goes to show you that you never know where good food might be hiding, so always give new places a try. As for us, we DEFINITELY found our new noodle soup go to spot.

Unlike the other Americanized-Chinese fast food vendors in the Garden State Plaza Mall food court,…read morethere seems to be less of an emphasis on your usual chicken and broccoli and other MSG-ridden fast foods and more of an emphasis on noodle soups and dumplings here, which is ...... AWESOMEEEEEEEE ....... since there is such a lack of such food in North Jersey. I've passed by this vendor every time I've come to the Garden State Plaza Mall's food court to eat and finally gave it a try on a recent Sunday afternoon. And, not to my surprise, this was BY FARRR the most popular vendor. There were multiple reasons for that, including the fact that the other Chinese food vendors weren't serving up their entire repertoire, so everyone pretty much, rightfully flocked to Dumpling Cafe. With that said, we ordered the Pork Wonton Noodle Soup and it was pretttty, prettttty good. First of all, they served the noodle soup in a nice, fancy, plastic bucket, which kept the noodles and soup separate. If I could relate it to anything, it looked like a bougie version of a KFC 10 piece chicken bucket. The noodle and soup were decent, but I wish they would have added a few more pieces of veggies and wontons. There were only 5 wontons in the noodle soup, so another 1-2 would have been nice, but beggars can't be choosers I guess. I've yet to try the ramens, Taiwanese noodle soups, pho or dumplings, but can only guess that they should be worth every penny based on the Pork Wonton Noodle Soup.
