It's like stepping back in time, all in a good way. Great service, amazing prices, delicious food. Old school Italian classics plus a few extras and excellent specials. I had trigger fish special that was outstanding. Husband had baked stuffed shrimp, friends had the sausage lasagne special and beef ravioli. Full glass of house wine for happy hour is $6. Dinner comes with hot rolls and salad or soup (good wedding soup & Caesar salad. Their red sauce is a bit sweet but yummy and no one had heartburn! It's a classic gem. I have had a few good meals at DiJulio's in the past and that is why I returned. I never had eggplant parm there before so I thought I would try it. WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT! Three "previously frozen" eggplant patties with some sort of melted cheese on the top was what I got. The dish was not even worthy of Olive Garden. To have that type of eggplant parm served at a so called Italian restaurant is a crime. I'll never be back and you should not go. If you do go, I guess you should stick with the daily specials. I've been here multiple times now and each time it's consistent and delicious. Definitely a hole in the wall type of place, inside is outdated, but the food and service is what matters! Service has been great each time I've gone, everyone is very friendly. I get the chicken Milanese a lot, and it is always totally fork tender. The moment I walked into this restaurant it was a welcoming environment for any age. My server was amazing and caring for our needs and came at the perfect times. The food was excellent, I first got the chicken piccata with spaghetti and a cesear salad to side. The flavors exploded in my mouth every bite and kept getting better. My dessert was the brownie sundae and it was magnificent, the chocolate was perfect as well as everything else. In conclusion this restaurant is one of the best. read more

After listening to an acquaintance of my wife and one of her friends we made our way from Bonita to DiJulio's. Just didn't quite get the rave that was shared by the patron who recommended us to go. Started out in the bar where we had a couple cocktails a piece which were well made. The pasta was good and so was the sauce. Now the chicken and veal. The chicken used in our dishes was a little chewy for my liking. The veal texture wasn't what I was expecting or use to. I had the soup as an appetizer which I didn't finish. The other 3 in the party had the Caesar salad and loved it. For desert we had the peanut butter pie and it was good. We ordered 4 Capuchinos to top off the night and found them to be bitter. We shared that with our waiter and he shared with us that they had to use creamers as the milk cause they had run out of milk. We come to DiJulio's for dinner a lot. It is always delicious. The restaurant itself is a little outdated but we don't mind at all because it now feels like home and especially because the food is always amazing. The complimentary bread and butter is so doughy, crusty, hot and irresistible. We usually get a second loaf because we just can't get enough. A salad comes with each meal. Both the house and Caesar Salads at DiJulio's are delicious. We used to always get the house salad but now we get the Caesar. You honestly can't go wrong with either. I usually get the Baked Stuffed Shrimp which is always on the menu and always delicious (still thinking about tonight's stuffed shrimp yum), but sometimes if they have the Baked Scallops Special I get it because it's also amazing. My husband and oldest son always love the chicken Parmesan. It's their favorite of most Naples restaurants. My youngest son likes the kid's Fettuccine Alfredo and the kid's Pizza. I had the fish and it was the best fish I have ever eaten and the brussels sprouts, I could've eaten 2 pounds. I've never had better brussels sprouts in my life! The portions are huge the staff is friendly the waiters are attentive. This is an Italian restaurant and they also will accommodate somebody who has a gluten intolerance and brings their own pasta. They said they would cook it for you!!!!!! Yes, they said if my friend brought her own gluten-free pasta that they would cook it for her. Where can you find someplace that would do that!?! We arrived at 5:00 pm only to find a full house. We were seated quickly and ordered drinks. The drinks were well done. We ordered our meals and then waited......and waited. It was a good 40 minutes until the food arrived. The veal dishes were terrific as was the baked scallops. The bread is freshly made and piping hot. We had two baskets it was so good. We have been here a few times since this is the in-laws favorite place to eat. It's cheap and the people are friendly. It is always crowded, so make sure you make reservations in advance, or prepare for a wait if they can get you in. We have dressed up to dine here, and we have also had on our dress casual clothes- golf clothes, and we felt comfortable. The vegetarian lasagna is really good. So is the spaghetti. The atmosphere is dated and dark, but the in- laws seem to love it, so they must be doing something right. :) read more

I had the veal piccata and my wife had the chicken Marsala, both were excellent. Salads were very good as was the garlic bread. If you're over 70, have no tastebuds and don't care much about ambiance or cleanliness, then this is your place. The whole experience was terrible from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. First, this place is way out dated. Poor ambiance, outdated decor, layout and furniture, plus the lighting is awful. The parking lot was full but we got seated right away to a very small booth. Our waiter, Norman wasn't very friendly or welcoming and did not introduce himself, we learned of his name from our bill. The bread they bring to your table is the best thing and really was the only highlight of the experience. Our waiter recommended a couple suggested menu items, one was chicken franscese, so I selected that and my husband ordered spaghetti with 2 meatballs. Our house salads were a bit odd as it shredded similar to coleslaw with one very large slice of cucumber and a wedge of tomato with the dressing in cups that have been peeled open. No croutons or cheese so a pretty bland salad. My chicken franscese was terrible. The chicken was not fresh but frozen and you could taste it wasn't fresh and the sauce was gooey and so I sent it back asked for chicken fettuccine. My husband had a pretty small portion of spaghetti with two very small meatballs and those were also frozen and he compared the taste to Salisbury steak and said the sauce tasted sweet. The cups they serve your drinks in are very small like kids cups and our server never came to refill our drinks. Chicken fettuccine redeemed my last entree but was piping hot so I brought it home. Sadly, this is not a place that will be trying again there was just too many issues that they can't fix by coming back unless they redo their kitchen and stop preparing frozen food and get some different decor, it just has no appeal whatsoever. read more

I love the food here but let me say that the employees, the hostess in particular, is the most unfriendly and unwelcoming person I've ever experienced. Her remarks and attitude was unacceptable to my husband and I along with our guests. Some of the waiters fall into the rude category as well. Our evening was quite upsetting. The veal parm is the best in town. My wife swears.by their chicken Marsala. The Italian Wedding Soup is to die for. Warm bread is a nice bonus. Very bad decoration, they said wait was a half an hour yet there was like 10+ tables open. When we sat down I could see the ugly ass carpet, it was horrible, and so were the walls. Place needs to be remodeled. Now to food, ordered veal parm, they gave me EGGPLANT PARM. Butter for the bread was as hard as a rock, soup was horrible, and pasta wasn't even good. Stopped by after a round of golf famished. We arrived a few minutes before they opened for Dinner/Happy Hour. Patrons waiting out front quickly filled the bar area. We were seated further back in the restaurant. Our waitresses came over and took our drink and food orders. My friend ordered the Chicken Francese, a side of pasta with marinara and a Caesar salad. I ordered the Chicken Marsala (waitresses recommendation) with Vegetables and a Caesar salad with anchovies. Our meals came with rolls, but we also ordered a side Garlic Toast. Beverages arrived along with warm rolls and our Caesar salads. Rolls were good, but we both found the Caesar dressing too sweet? Main courses arrived shortly after, the Chicken Francese (very good) was moist and tender. You could cut it with a fork. However my Chicken Marsala tasted bizarre. It was oddly sweet and lacked any mushrooms, not very Marsala tasting either. The chicken was a bit tough (dried out?) and I needed a knife to cut it. The Garlic Toast was way over saturated (dripping with Garlic butter) and inedible. Overall service was good, but I must have ordered the wrong item from the menu and of course the dripping wet Garlic Toast. read more

We've been to DiJulio's about five or six times now. We have always found the food very good. My favorite is shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta. They are eager to accommodate any type of request that the customer has for them. The wait staff are quick and friendly. The prices from the bar are very good. read more

We are REGULARS. Why? Food plentiful and delicious. Salad and bread very good. Basa fish Italian style one of my favorites My wife enjoys that fish we both ordered this regularly I also enjoyed very much the white clams over linguine. The sea scallops are outstanding , also one of our favorites. The chicken and veal dishes are outstanding Now for the service: our favorite wait people are IVAN AND CHARLOTTE all of the wait staff really hustle and are prompt courteous and respectful. I had a horrible customer service experience at DiJulio's and will not be back. I called at noon to order dinner for my father who was just being released from the hospital and told the lady that he would just love a dinner so that he would not have to cook. She told me to call after 4:00 to order and that they did not take take out order from 5 to 7pm. I called at 4:15pm and was told by an extremely rude woman that they are not taking any take out orders at all. I am very upset that they didn't tell me this during my call at noon or take my order then. read more

I walked in The hostess treated me like a king asked me my name and handed me a buzzer . I walked outside looking for my party to arrive then decided to go to the bar and have a cocktail. It was like Cheers in Boston!! Everybody was friendly and seemed like it was old home week. One gentleman at the bar ordered Lasagna . Looked and smelled delicious. My group arrived and our Goddess seated us promptly, introduced us to our server Peter James, who took our drink order handing us menus and returned momentarily with an assortment of various legal beverages. To continue I ordered the Lasagna and it was as good as I have ever had. A couple of the guys I was with had the Veal Marsala and there was nothing on their plays when we finished. We always liked this restaurant. Good menu and great food. However, They have recently made some changes which are affecting our opinion. They now have a policy that they will nor bring any bread to the table until after the dinner order is placed. Really? So you have a table of 8 ordering drinks and you think if you give them a basket of bread before they order dinner they are just going to eat the bread and leave? That seems a bit unreasonable. We like to have a drink and a piece of bread to relax before ordering. Are we the only ones who enjoy this practice? This new policy will definitely affect our decision to bring visitors here for a relaxing dinner. read more
