There were six people in my party. We shared a plain and garlic basket of naan to soak up all the wonderful sauces. We had the buttered chicken. Yummy! Cauliflower pea dish so much flavor. Lamb chops. Chicken that was award winning and a dish that is cooked in bread with lobster, shrimp rice beef. The top was carved off top of bread bowl then replaced to keep it all warm. I love Indian food but this place just didn't hit the mark. Came in on Halloween so the restaurant was empty. Somosas were very small and lacked filling. Saag tasted bitter, not sure how to describe it but the flavor was not enjoyable. Lamb chops were over cooked and had barely any seasoning. Portion was also very small, only 3 lamb chops. Garlic naan had barely any ghee, cilantro and garlic. It was dry. Toondori chicken was probably the most disappointing item. Although it was tender and cooked good, the flavor was not ur typical Toondori flavor and it had a fishy taste to it? Idk it was strange. Got the kulfi for dessert, which was in the form of a ice cream pop covered in white chocolate. The kulfi didn't taste like I'm used to, didn't have the cardamom or saffron flavor that authentic kulfi has. Honestly it just tasted like normal ice cream. The white chocolate covering didn't pair well with it. It's a cool concept to do a fusion Indian cuisine but it is not executed well. I was so excited to try this place, my fiancé has been suggesting we go for a while. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is very clean, open, and inviting. The service is phenomenal- the entire staff is super attentive and checked in on us regularly. Rossy was our waitress and she was beyond great. We ordered the tamarind margarita and the 21 spices drink, the 21 spices was super flavorful. The food was really tasty, we ordered the lamb Biryani and the chicken tikka, both were great. Food was expensive and OK at best, however the Naan was the most expensive that I have ever ordered and no better than a supermarket product, very disappointing. Did not taste freshly made. As soon as I walked in the door of 21 spices, I knew it was going to be good. All 21 of those spices immediately assaulted my nostrils and I started salivating before we had even been seated. The restaurant is huge and definitely has a more upscale vibe. The menu is comprehensive but not bloated, and has some things you might not find at your neighborhood Indian takeout place. Some of the dishes have a bit of a fancy twist. For example, the lobster mulligatawny. Not a dish I ordered, but one of my dinner buddies was nice enough to let me try some, and it was incredible. We all got a variety of curries, biryani, lentils, and naans, with some mango lassi. The mango lassi is excellent and calms down the mouth if you order a higher spice level. Everything we had was great, including some basics like butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani (spicier than you expect), chicken korma (my dish, so rich and savory), and a side of daal makhani (some of the best daal I've ever had, do not skip it even if you're a meat eater). I would say that for a person with good spice tolerance, the "spicy" level is perfect. You'll feel it a little bit but not sweat or cry. Next time I would try "Indian spicy" just to see how much of a jump it is. All curries come with rice, and the naan we ordered was freshly baked and pillowy soft. Portions are generous--I didn't have any leftover but I was full to bursting. Service is friendly, prompt, and unpretentious. Since this is a more upscale spot, the prices do reflect that, but I think it is worth it. We had fond memories of 21 spices from a prior visit two years ago. Our expectations were disappointed this time. Beginning with the hostess, who asked if we we would mind dining in the bar area. Don't die in the bar area. Compared to the white tablecloth of the restaurant it is rundown and noisy. Service was slow and inattentive. The men's room lacked hand towels. We ordered cocktails, a beer and a glass of wine. Everything eventually came except our wine drinker was served a glass of water in a wine glass. We returned this for actual wine. Our server did not return until well after our cocktails were empty, and took what seemed like an extraordinary amount of time to deliver a few beers. The food was good, although our order did not come out with heat as we had specified. Our vindaloo was medium to mild while our sag was spicy! The best dish was the chef Asif Biyani. The naan was average. A request for additional raita was ignored. Drunks at the bar were disruptive. Perhaps the staff was overworked and understaffed, but on the whole, we did not enjoy our return to 21 spices. read more

The ambiance is great, so pretty and elegant feeling with friendly wait staff that are very attentive. The food options are fantastic and everything is delicious. I had the butter chicken because it's one of my favorite Indian dishes. My dining partners had some other lamb and chicken dishes which were wonderful. They give a big serving of the entrees. Naan bread was nice and buttery. Held up well as a leftover as well. Good service. Inside of the restaurant could use some updating. This evening we also had the opportunity to meet Chef Asif. He made time to walk around the restaurant and asked how we enjoyed our meal. We started with cocktails, both the mojito as well as the manager's special were both refreshing. The appetizers were delicious especially the sauces that accompanied the Nawaabi Paneer Tikka. Wow!! The goat was literally the best of all the dishes followed by the butter chicken!!! I have never had goat and was terrified to try it until my friend advised me of how wonderful it was! So I held my breath and took a bite! Wow, an explosion of flavors in my mouth!! Extremely tasty, like butter and a hint of spice. It definitely tantalized my tastebuds. The atmosphere and colors are beautiful and they have this wonderful cinnamon peanut butter whiskey that takes like you are drinking a candy bar! It's definitely a must try! It's priced on a higher side but then this is not your average Indian restaurant. Being an Indian, I appreciate the challenges in maintaining an Indian restaurant in a competitive Naples circuit. Kudos to the chef for putting together a menu which appeals to everyone. Having said that, the food is not fusion but authentic Indian. I went for the highest spice level and am happy to report that it packs quite a punch. The complimentary papads are bit oily but the sauces are good. I returned one platter as it was uncooked- please pay attention to what goes out if that kitchen Chef! The shrimp curry and garlic nan was lip smacking delicious. DH's lamb chops, not so much... gold leaf shahi tukda ( should be silver leaf actually!) nicely rounded off the meal. The 21 spice cocktail was yum. If I could give stars for just the decor alone, it'd be a big ol' 5 but unfortunately that's not the case. This was my first time here. I obviously loved how beautifully decorated everything was, added to the experience of eating Indian cuisine. The food however was subpar and I ONLY say that because I've had Indian before that I've enjoyed a little more than this place. The drinks were pretty spectacular though, the tamarind really came through and I enjoyed it! The food was pretty decent but smaller portions than I expected and the nan was super thick that it felt like pizza consistency. The overall vibes were 10/10 just because there was a a large group of friends but to go on a date or even by yourself would feel kind of dull. No offense Chef! Our waiter was very helpful in helping guide me through choosing a curry that would be to my liking. The flavors ranged from mild to a nice amount of heat on my tongue. I was impressed that they were able to customize the overall flavour/spice/heat to your preference. All the way from mild, to spicy, to English spicy (very hot and flavourful, excellent!) Of all the dishes, my favourite was the Progressive Chicken 65. Basically a form of Chilli Chicken, sweet and hot. They only sell it as an appetizer, but it's so good, I wish they would sell that as a full dish on a bed of rice. The decor and ambience are very modern and elegant; inviting. The manager was very kind and welcoming. The menu is extensive, I basically wanted to try everything, so it was a feat just to narrow it down to a few appetizers and three entrees. The samosas were great; the dough it was wrapped in was really good. The paneer skewers were a delicious bite in a modern presentation. We got the chicken tikka and the madras chicken, both spicy and both fantastic. I couldn't stop eating either, even though I was stuffed. We also got the eggplant, which I enjoyed as well. We ordered all three naan varieties, the plain, spicy, and the garlic, not realizing that you get a lot of naan in each order. The garlic naan was my favorite, but the plain was perfect for the world's pickiest kid; my daughter. I would eat here all the time if we were closer. It was so good.
