This is the BEST Indian food in Naples. Its about a 30 minute drive from my home base but worth it for sure. We arrived at 4:30pm on a saturday. Seating was easy and service was prompt and efficient. The decor is fine- nothing over the top. The star of the evening was the food. Top notch authentic flavors and a real Indian spicy hot! We tried the bullet Naan, okra appetizer and dosa. That has to be my favorite okra dish. I chose a paneer entree which was delicious with rich, creamy sauce. This dinner was a treat! I will be back and would not even go to any other Indian restaurant. This IS the spot!

While driving home and trying to avoid traffic, I decided to look for a place to eat and stumbled upon Masala Magic and I'm so glad I did. The restaurant is warm, cozy, and inviting, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. The menu is extensive, with so many options that it takes a bit of time to decide, but that just means there's truly something for everyone. I started with the mushroom appetizer and really appreciated that they asked what heat level I preferred. I chose medium, and it was absolutely perfect. The mushrooms were crispy, packed with flavor, and honestly worth a return visit on their own. For my main dish, I ordered the chicken mango. Once again, the heat level was spot on, and the sweetness of the mango balanced beautifully with the spices. Dessert was creamy and refreshing, the perfect way to end the meal. This was a total spur-of-the-moment find thanks to Yelp, and it's definitely going to be a repeat stop for me.

    Goat Nihari

Wow!!! Very very pleased after my lunch here. I had the Goat Nihari, and it's got to be my favorite Indian sauce now. Very well cooked and when I tried to tell him how spicy I wanted it, he hit the mark on the dot. Very nice authentic looking place, pretty small. About $20ish priced dishes. You've GOT to check this place out. Btw on Saturday and Sunday they have a buffet for lunch, 11-2!

It's always a great day when an Indian restaurant opens in town! We treated ourselves to a fantastic lunch at Magic Masala, the restaurant was clean and the food was excellent. We tried the lunch sampler which included chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, vegetable chickpea curry, garlic naan, a vegetable samosa, and for desert, gulab jamun. They offer a wide variety of foods that you are sure to enjoy, including curries, biryani, dosa, naan, and a great selection of vegetarian, appetizers and desserts. If you like good Indian food, Magic Masala will not disappoint. The spice level depends on you, they are happy to fix mild or extra spicy food. The staff is friendly and welcoming and it's so easy to find, the location is right off Collier. This restaurant offers good value and delicious Indian cuisine. We're looking forward to visiting again and trying more old favorites, along with new dishes.

We had dinner last night with friends, lovely restaurant and atmosphere. We all had a different dish ranging from Lamb Rogan Josh, Korma Medley (chicken, lamb and Shrimp) and Masala Medley with garlic naan bread. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient! We would definitely rate Magic Masala 5 Star.

Drove 45 minutes from home in Fort Myers to get here today & it was worth the drive. Tucked away in south Naples, this new Indian restaurant has all the makings of authentic Indian food. I'm an Indian American so I think I might know . If you're up for a a synchrony of spices taking over your palate, try the weekend buffet. There's chicken, goat, fish, & an array of vegetarian dishes along with Rice & Indian bread Naan. I especially loved the goat curry, chicken biriyani, eggplant curry but best of all the masala Dosa hit the spot!! Dosa is not part of buffet. It's a South Indian savory breakfast dish with side of lentil soup & chutney. Yum!!

This establishment has major management issues. We walked in on a Tuesday around 6:30PM, and found two tables that could seat six, and were informed that there were reserved. We opted to wait. A whole 30 minutes later, they got us seated elsewhere and those two tables were still unseated. Ordered our food, that took another 45 minutes to arrive while other customers were clearly getting agitated with their orders not taken and tables not cleaned. During our wait, we saw additional families who were turned away for lack of space while they still had additional tables to fill! The food that arrived 45 minutes post our order was in no way an Indian meal by any standards. The biryani rice is meant to be thin polished rice. The dish we were served had a variety of rice that I've never had before. The other dish - Methi Malai Mattar had shaved mozzarella pieces in it. This was the most inedible dish I've ever had. There was only one server, and the kitchen looked super busy when only 3/10 tables were occupied. This restaurant is located in the vicinity of Great Wolf Lodge, and was frequented by multiple Indian families who were turned away. Post our horrible experience, when we left at about 8:25, those "reserved" seats were still unseated!

Me and my wife stopped in with our kids for our 16th anniversary dinner on the strength of a friend's recommendation and we COULDN'T BE HAPPIER we did! Food was absolutely delicious, price was very reasonable, our waitress Ana was amazing and both the owners stopped by the table to check on the quality of everything. The second you walk in, the smell of lemongrass and tandoor ovens is there and the music and atmosphere was delightful. I highly recommend you try it out, and make aure you try the garlic naan. We had mild chicken biriyani for the kids, tandoori chicken, and I had spicy chicken 65 and spicy egg bhaji. Evey single item was cooked with obvious care and had the fragrant, deep flavor you expect from real Indian food. 10/10, A+

I live in Bonita Springs, and after dining at Ahana's Bombay Grille, I can honestly say I had one of the best curry experiences of my life. I ordered my favorite dish, Rogan Josh Chicken, and it was outstanding. In over 50 years of enjoying Indian food, this ranks among the very best. A little background: I'm a 68-year-old Brit with a genuine appreciation for authentic Indian cuisine. During my 20 years as a British Merchant Navy Marine Engineering Officer, I often chose to eat with the Indian crew rather than in the officers' mess. More than one captain questioned my decision, but I preferred the company--and the food! I became friends with the Indian chefs and learned about the different regional styles of Indian cooking and how the flavors vary across India. Over the years, I've been disappointed by many so-called Indian restaurants. While Fijian and Trinidadian curries can be delicious, they are not the same as traditional Indian cuisine because they evolved using ingredients that were locally available. I've even visited an "Indian" restaurant in Orlando where the chef was Mexican! One detail that really impressed me was the naan bread. I ordered two pieces, but they only brought one at first--and that turned out to be exactly the right way to serve it. Good naan starts to lose its freshness and crisp texture after about 15 minutes, so serving the second piece later makes perfect sense. That's the kind of attention to detail that tells you they know what they're doing. If you appreciate authentic Indian food, do yourself a favor and visit Ahana's Bombay Grille. Enjoy the curry, enjoy the naan, and enjoy the experience. You won't be wasting your time! W.B.FURLONG

The food was prepared in an open-air kitchen setting when you walk in the door which fills the entire space with the delicious smells of the Indian cuisine we all know and love. The packaging was all correct and generic with traditional thank you bags you'd expect from a regular restaurant. We ordered the Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala with 2 orders of garlic naan. The Lamb was adequately portioned and flavorful with the flavored basmati rice accompanying the lamb chunks. The Butter and Tikka Masala Chickens were both boneless chunks in plentiful and flavorful sauces. The naan bread was quite disappointing as it felt like a regular serving of pita bread with a couple of garlic cloves lightly roasted and thrown on top. That was a huge let down as I love dipping naan in different sauces. The staff seemed nice and I would entertain the idea of coming in for dine to see if the portion sizes would be a bit larger dining in person. The steep prices for what we received was my major concern with a 3-3.5 star rating. I believe they could be slightly adjusted to better match competition in the area.

Tradition is only preserved if the baton is passed to someone willing to run with all their might toward the next person in line. That is exactly what Borhan Ahmed did with his mother Akther's recipes. He carried those flavors in his heart, eventually inheriting his mother's most prized possession: her recipe book. After leaving Bangladesh at the age of 17 and exploring four different continents, Borhan recognized that while every generation changes, the essence of flavor remains. He took it upon himself to learn the diverse profiles of his journeys and infuse them into his own unique formula. Before establishing himself here in Naples, Borhan met his 'secret ingredient' in New York: his wife, Angela. She fell in love not just with him, but with the intoxicating biryanis and fragrant kormas he prepared in their tiny apartment kitchen. 'The first time he cooked for me,' Angela recalls with a smile, 'I knew I was tasting something extraordinary; it wasn't just food, it was poetry.' Beyond her love for him, Angela saw a vision--she believed these recipes were a gift that needed to be shared with the world.  Established in Naples, Florida in 1992, this restaurant's story is essential to understanding the experience. It felt as though it was specifically designed to set the tone for what was to come: a meal prepared with pure intention   Heres what we tried: Garlic Naan You can never go wrong with this option, and they did everything right. It was the perfect balance of soft and crisp, with just the right amount of savory garlic. Chicken Korma Tender, boneless chicken braised in a velvety yogurt base infused with the earthy warmth of cumin and coriander. The addition of garlic provided a subtle bite, while the slow-cooked potatoes absorbed every bit of the fragrant sauce. Cabbage Bhaji A vibrant, light side dish of finely shredded cabbage sautéed with turmeric and spices. It offered a wonderful texture that complemented the richness of the main course. Pilau Rice The perfect pairing for the meal--aromatic, fluffy, and infused with delicate spices that tied all the flavors together. We can't wait to return and try other combinations; this is officially one of our go-to spots. If you are looking for a true passage to India right here in Naples, FL--this is a must-try!
