Vegetable Vegan Mixed Veggie Vindaloo, Naan, Chardonnay
    Michele R.

I had previously had food from the I Love Curry food truck at various places throughout Naples FL but was recently delighted to hear that there was now a sit down restaurant near us. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and while it appears to be like a Chinese takeout where you can order at the register and sit down anywhere, it is not. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken. Our food arrived shortly after and it was steaming hot. I got the veggie vindaloo and my husband got the saag paneer. Each meal comes with rice and naan. Both meals were perfect! The naan was also very good. I highly recommend I Love Curry whether you are familiar with Indian cuisine or not. It is absolutely delicious!

    Chicken Korma and Onion Pakora

I didn't feel like going to a business dinner so I searched Yelp to find another hidden gem that would deliver. I ordered the Chicken Korma and Onion ? Korma was a bit too mild for my taste but I can't blame them for that. The Onion Pakora was amazing. The food was delivered quickly and is super tasty!

What I love about the curries right off the cuff is the piping hot temperature of the food. The curries are served in a large to-go container with about 50:50 rice to curry ratio. A half large piece of butter naan is steaming on top of the curry and rice. I had the traditional lamb (grass-fed and very tender) curry and my daughter for the first time, butter chicken (also very tender meat). Perfectly spiced - we don't have Indian often and it was just the right balance for us. So delicious! We had so much food we were only able to eat 1/2 of the meal and we ate the rest the next day for lunch. We sat outside where there are two tables. There's cocktail/wine in cans, bottled beers and soft drinks for sale. My daughter asked if we could have more for dinner. Can't wait to go back or order a variety of curries to try during the week.

The restaurant is warm, cozy, and inviting, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. The menu is extensive, with so many options that it takes a bit of time to decide, but that just means there's truly something for everyone. I started with the mushroom appetizer and really appreciated that they asked what heat level I preferred. I chose medium, and it was absolutely perfect. The mushrooms were crispy, packed with flavor, and honestly worth a return visit on their own. For my main dish, I ordered the chicken mango. Once again, the heat level was spot on, and the sweetness of the mango balanced beautifully with the spices. Dessert was creamy and refreshing, the perfect way to end the meal. This was a total spur-of-the-moment find thanks to Yelp, and it's definitely going to be a repeat stop for me.

Tradition is only preserved if the baton is passed to someone willing to run with all their might toward the next person in line. That is exactly what Borhan Ahmed did with his mother Akther's recipes. He carried those flavors in his heart, eventually inheriting his mother's most prized possession: her recipe book. After leaving Bangladesh at the age of 17 and exploring four different continents, Borhan recognized that while every generation changes, the essence of flavor remains. He took it upon himself to learn the diverse profiles of his journeys and infuse them into his own unique formula. Before establishing himself here in Naples, Borhan met his 'secret ingredient' in New York: his wife, Angela. She fell in love not just with him, but with the intoxicating biryanis and fragrant kormas he prepared in their tiny apartment kitchen. 'The first time he cooked for me,' Angela recalls with a smile, 'I knew I was tasting something extraordinary; it wasn't just food, it was poetry.' Beyond her love for him, Angela saw a vision--she believed these recipes were a gift that needed to be shared with the world.  Established in Naples, Florida in 1992, this restaurant's story is essential to understanding the experience. From the history to the plate, every detail feels purely intentional in all regards. Now, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FOOD! This was our first time visiting, but it absolutely won't be our last. The moment you walk through the doors, it feels like coming home. The ambiance is cozy, with soft, dim lighting and a front-of-house team that welcomes you with genuine warmth. The next thing that hits you is the aroma--a perfect harmony of spices. It felt as though it was specifically designed to set the tone for what was to come: a meal prepared with pure intention   Heres what we tried: Garlic Naan You can never go wrong with this option, and they did everything right. It was the perfect balance of soft and crisp, with just the right amount of savory garlic. Chicken Korma Tender, boneless chicken braised in a velvety yogurt base infused with the earthy warmth of cumin and coriander. The addition of garlic provided a subtle bite, while the slow-cooked potatoes absorbed every bit of the fragrant sauce. Cabbage Bhaji A vibrant, light side dish of finely shredded cabbage sautéed with turmeric and spices. It offered a wonderful texture that complemented the richness of the main course. Pilau Rice The perfect pairing for the meal--aromatic, fluffy, and infused with delicate spices that tied all the flavors together. We can't wait to return and try other combinations; this is officially one of our go-to spots. If you are looking for a true passage to India right here in Naples, FL--this is a must-try!

After waiting 18 minutes to be served, I had to go to the bar myself to order drinks. Thankfully, they offered double shots of tequila and Long Island iced teas, which helped make the night more tolerable. We ordered five curries to share, but to be honest, most of them tasted very similar (except for the chicken korma which is topped with almonds). The grouper was overcooked, though the beef and lamb were tender and flavorful. We didn't get much of an introduction to the dishes, which would have been nice. The highlight of the meal was the naan bread. We tried four different kinds, and the chili naan stood out as fresh, spicy, and absolutely delicious. While we skipped dessert, the aroma of Indian cuisine as you walk in is inviting. Overall, while the food had some highlights, the service and lack of variety in flavor in the curries left us wanting more.

Also ordered some house wine, but strangely, the red wine was refrigerated. There was live music, but it was at a good volume and not disruptive of the chill atmosphere. It was only a Thursday night in off-season, so it wasn't super crowded but it can often be crawling with people who are there to watch a game or party hard. If you're not into crowds, I would go on weeknights. Pricing is a little high for food truck dining, but I've come to expect that in Naples.
