Place had great atmosphere and friendly staff . Food was ok , not great , looks like most of our food was cooked with no salt , so was a little flat on flavor. Price could be better but just a little high . Food took a little extra on time to come out , so have a great conversation while you wait read more

I've ordered takeout from here a few times and have always been pleased with the food and portion size. The staff is always very accommodating and has the food ready right on time. I usually order the chicken fajitas and it comes with plenty of food, but you might want to ask for a couple extra tortillas. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and usually has plenty of tables available or seating at the bar. I recommend trying this spot out. read more

We found this lil place as we were heading to another place.. the outside caught our eye.. it was pretty quiet inside, radio music was on, only a few clients: we sat down & waitress asked if we'd like chips & guacamole twice, said 'no thank you.. she brought menus, I ordered the Gorditas & my husband the carne asada plate, asked if we'd wanted something to drink, we ordered a Jamaica & Tamarindo; I had to ask for water & asked if they give chips, she seemed a bit disturbed & said she'd be back; bottom line, food was decent, pico de gallo that came w/chips was just tomato & cilantro, no flavor, no homemade salsa then we got our bill & she added the tip, there was only 2 of us & then when we paid they asked for additional tip, the nerve; read more

Very delicious food and great service. I went with some family today and was pleasantly surprised when we pulled up. The place is a little ways away from other stuff in Naples, but definitely worth the trip. We didn't know what to expect walking in, but there were plenty of places to sit and eat inside, as well as a bar area. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly waitress. She brought out chips (which tasted homemade), a chunky salsa, and a salsa roja and verde which came in a bottle. The salsas were hot. I ordered the crispy quesadillas with chicken, and other party members got the steak asada tacos and a chimichanga. The rice was yummy, and had vegetables. The beans were also very good. I was surprised with the crispy quesadillas; the corn tortilla was fried and puffy and then filled with cheese and toppings like a taco. Very good. The prices were very reasonable, the food was good, and the service was excellent. I recommend read more

I wanted to like this restaurant. However, my recent experience was horrible. We placed a pick up order and was told it would take 30 minutes. Arrived timely and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. They charged my card and then proceeded to give me food I did not order (Garlic Shrimp instead of Shrimp Fajita). They said they would not charge me. The did! I will certainly resist returning! read more

Authentic Mexican Cuisine, we alway try to get to this restaurant at least once every trip to Naples. Very good.

Dicey exterior, great food, great employees. Was going to a nearby taco place recommend by a friend, but no parking there, and Naples being like Japan, there's no street parking available. So, having passed Los Molcajetes on the way, I went there instead. And it turned out great. A bit run down, but the tacos were fantastic. I had pollo, al pastor, chorizo, and carnitas. All in double corn tortillas Mexico City style. Also had the guacamole and chips, very generously sized. Two great salsas with it. Highly recommended. First time as well for the Jarritos Tamarind, that's going to be my go to at Mexican restaurants for the near future. read more

4th of July weekend and we were craving Mexican food after a hot day at the beach. This location is really nice. It's more full restaurant format. The interior is so nice with music and TVs showing the soccer matches. We started with the chips and salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was super good but the waitress offered it to us without saying there's a charge of 10 dollars. So be aware of that. But we wanted it regardless and it was delicious. The horchata drinks were amazing!! Reminds me of the one we had in Mexico. Super good. Highly recommend it. The tacos were fresh and tasty. One of them were pork and it was crunchy. That's how fresh it it. I had the enchiladas with mole and I loved it. Had some spice to it but I would eat it again. It was 20 dollars but the portion was really big. I couldn't finish it. Prices are not cheap like other areas but it's not expensive. The food , vibe and people make up for it. read more

Parking was terrible and the food was even worse. Steak fajitas, and the chicken fajitas were both bland and had no seasoning and on top of all that, it was like stirfry. Meat was un marinated also and tough. The portions were too large and prices too high for food that lacked any taste. We took it back to the hotel but threw it away. A total loss and waste of money. The only thing that was good were the beans and the homemade tortillas, which there were ONLY three. Fajitas are not stir fried at least not where I am from. Uncaring wait staff and management seem nonexistent. Don't make this mistake unless you want things bland and unflavored. Parking was sketchy and I felt my car may get backed into. read more

Amazing food, great service. Have had the quesabirria, pozole and tacos- and all are delicious.

What a great surprise to find this place' try the Gorditas- amazing!! Everything we had was so good!

The food and service is getting worse, emphasis on the service. The waitresses are getting meaner and the meat they use is getting more low quality. Our waitress had a night and day difference attitude to her non-Spanish speaking tables and Spanish speaking tables, so there's that. This was our last time going there. The live music is nice but it's incredibly loud. There's a public parking place right next to the restaurant. Bring germ x. The food portions are good. You pay at the register when you're done. It's one of those places you regret leaving a tip because the service is so questionable. If you can ignore the disturbing patterns in how they treat different customers, you could probably have an okay time here. read more

We had a great late night dining experience here. We were visiting from out of town and options for going out to dinner after 9 pm were few and far between. We took a chance on this place because the Yelp reviews were pretty decent. We arrived to find a true Mexican restaurant. You know it's authentic when everyone there is Mexican. This place stays open til 2 am but don't feel like you can't bring your kids. The place was packed with families when we arrived around 11. We started off by ordering the fresh juice. Unfortunately because it was late they were out of the flavors we really wanted so we went with the melon. It tasted just like someone had juiced a cantaloupe, pulp and all. Not really my thing but it wasn't bad. I bet the strawberry version is where it's at which is why it was sold out. For dinner we ordered a variety of tacos, the octopus tostadas and the Tampiquena. I always want steak at a Mexican place and this did not disappoint. The meat was cooked perfectly and the green sauce added a nice bit of zing and acidity. I didn't taste the tacos but my husband and son raved about them. My daughter LOVED the octopus. I thought it was a touch too salty but she snarfed down two which was a great size for dinner. You get a ton of food for the price. If I was a local I'd definitely be back! read more

A great option for tacos and Mexican food down in southwest Florida. This Naples, Florida restaurant is nothing fancy to look at, either inside or outside, but I have often said and truly believe, the best Mexican food comes from these humble little places where the pride and love is evident in the food they prepare. Prices are good and the tacos were very good. Service was good and it was an overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend this establishment. read more

Went on Father's Day. The place we originally wanted to go had no parking available and this was close by. We seated ourselves, and within minutes, the music was turned up so loud that the server kept making us repeat ourselves. Apparently it was karaoke night - has I known, I'd have turned around. A young girl scream/sang at the top of her very loud lungs through 4 or 5 songs. I ordered the chimichanga. It was pretty bland but edible. My husband and kids enjoyed their quesadillas and tacos. I honestly couldn't get out of there fast enough. read more

This place is definitely a local favorite. Cheap food and cheap drinks. Enormous portions. I'm plant based and still could find enough to eat with the veggie fajitas. Hugh margaritas. The place is definitely authentic Mexican food. Super friendly staff and a lot of them. Fun decor and makes a fun atmosphere. Daily specials to look for on food! As mentioned in previous reviews, the service is poor (When you DO finally get it). Loud environment, packed bar with Hispanics who probably just finished working as they all looked pretty tired. BEER AND WINE ONLY. Don't be fooled by "Margaritas" you think you see, as they're made with wine based "tequila" EXTREMELY dirty inside. Ice machine was open the entire time I was there and I could see the mold from where I stood. Counter, tables, and floor dirty as well. I did not see anybody wipe ANYTHING while I was there. Chips were overdone and thick. My beer and flour tortillas were the highpoint of my visit Lastly, I listened as they talked down to and about Whites while I was there. I guess they didn't think this "Gringo" as they called me understood every word that said. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. read more

Delicious food! Happy hour lasts from 5 pm-8 pm with decently priced margaritas. it was pretty packed getting there at 6 pm on a Friday evening, so I suggest going sooner rather than later. All the food was piping hot and extremely tasty - truly an authentic experience. If you want to splurge, I would highly suggest getting the Molcajete Supreme (I mean, come on, it's literally in the restaurant's name) and sharing it with someone. The tamales were also really good. read more

I never leave reviews, but this was the worst experience ever! I went there with 2 of my friends and we couldn't eat anything at all. We ordered few different tacos and quesadillas with chicken, steak, pork, etc..It was very disappointing, and we all feel sick after just a couple bites! To make everything worse, our server acted like she absolutely didn't care about our experience! She didn't even listen when we said we don't like the food and just left us a check with full amount. We never experienced such a bad food and service! Don't waste your time and money! read more

A fabulous find! Wow, we were looking for a down home Mexican restaurant vs chain "Mexican" places. This is it. Our GPS found it as it is a bit tucked away. The food is awesome! The serving size is the best! We had to ask for a take-away box as we were stuffed. Terrific chips with the guacamole Not like what is carried in supermarkets. Entrees can't be beat. The take out food held up well. It's about a 30 minute drive from where we live but we will mark this as our #1 authentic Mexican restaurant . Full bar but since I drove I opted for a soft drink Staff is friendly and efficient. Good pricing on fresh made food. Complaints about this place as likely caused more by poor customer attitude. Bring a smile and enjoy a great restaurant! read more

We live in the neighborhood and have enjoyed going there many times. From the experience I had on my last visit my family will never go back. I walked in wearing a mask as I have valid covid risk factors. Victor told me he would be with me shortly. It took five minutes to get me a menu. Victor said just a minute and turned his attention to other tasks. A few minutes later one of the waitresses took my order for a takeout chicken Milanaise sandwich. After I'd been standing there for fifteen minutes Victor returned and asked if I had ordered told him yes. I was there for over half an hour with Victor saying he would take care of it "In a second" every five minutes but he did sidework, rang up customers, and did nothing for me. Never went to the kitchen to check on my order. He was deliberate in his cool nonchalant behavior. When I told him I was leaving, he clearly didn't care. A woman who spoke Spanish at the counter ordered, got her food, and had multiple requests handled immediately and left while I was pointedly and rudely ignored. read more

Excellent, authentic food. The pork Al pastor was well made, moist, tender and spicy cradled in a green sauce with tortilla, cheese and sauce with green onions, refried beans and rice with corn, just fabulous. My wife had the shrimp and it was very good. The meal starts with freshly made tortilla chips , guacamole and salsa, very nice. The margarita was just massive and the local beer was great. Great ambience and very friendly and attentive service. This is a hidden gem on Bayshore Drive you should not miss. read more

What a hidden treasure, we were looking for some good Mexican food and we found it. Best thing is they are family owned and operated and open until 2:00am. They start your dinner off with freshly made chips with salsa and guacamole. They also serve it with 2 squirt bottles of sauce one is a red chili on the hot side and the other is a green cilantro lime tasting full of flavor sauce. We ordered margaritas and they were so refreshing we had two! I had to order the pozole because I love it and it was so goooood and full of shredded pork, it was delicious. It was served hot and with the traditional chopped onions and cilantro, delicious. They flavor was so good that I drizzled it on my pork tacos, wow delicious is an understatement. The pozole was served with a side of four taquitos dressed with creama and they were hot crispy and delicious. To finish the evening off I ordered a pork tamale, heck for 2.00 I had to and it was perfect, we will be ba m soon! read more

This was a sweet local Mexican restaurant that didn't look like much from the outside but from within it looked homey with a bar area immediately to your left and plenty of seating all around. Very organized. Free parking out front. We seated ourselves to the front. We sat down and saw some very authentic Tacos including cows tongue, tripe or other meats you wouldn't normally see on a menu. We weren't quite that experimental. What also caught my eye was the chicken chocolate mole which tasted just like I had in Mexico City a few weeks earlier. The sauce was splendid and the chicken supple. Nicole had chicken burritos which were also very well put together. The portions were huge so we took a plate home and made a second meal out of it for a midnight snack. I also ordered margerita on the rocks. The glass that came out was iced thoroughly and looked huge. The limes were super fresh. The drink itself was so so but I didn't order top shelf, and being a margarita snob I also prefer a home made lime mix instead of the sugary after market kind. Alas you can't have it all. There were flat panel TVs featuring soccer and they had a poster of the upcoming boxing match, which to me means, the owners care about sport. Another plus in my mind! Our waitress was super nice and brought us chips salsa and guacamole prior to our meal. The chips were sturdy and solid. And their sauces and guacamole were delicious too. This place gets high marks! Definitely worth a try if you are in the neighborhood craving Mexican. read more

We were in Naples and wanted Mexican food, reading the reviews we decided to try it, but it didn't meet the expectations. To start for me the chips and salsa for a Mexican restaurant should be the staple of the place and this wasn't good at all, chopped onions and tomatoes and the chips are fried tortillas not corn. Then we ordered the fried cheese, that one saved the meal it was really good it was served with a side of guacamole very tasty we loved this. Then we ordered fajitas and green enchiladas, not bad but not good either... nothing to remember I will say average not real Mexican taste for sure. Service was ok and prices too, but I can get more flavor from Taco Bell except for the fried cheese. read more

The food was perfect it had flavor especially the onions they give the food another flavor one thing I didn't like was that it wasn't spicy since I I asked for spicy, but it wasn't. The service is great not too much wait but when it gets busy it's understandable it's busy when you see a lot of cars outside the restaurant and the ambiance is normal with some Spanish music to give the restaurant a vibe oh and what I had was quesadilla de steak(res) and enchiladas Rojas de queso ( cheese) read more
