We just had the most delicious lunch at Kareem's! The stuffed grape leaves are served hot, and taste amazing. They bring out fresh steaming hot bread. We each had shawarma. I had the chicken, my husband had the beef.. both equally delicious but the beef has a nutmeg flavor that puts it over the top! The side salad was crunchy fresh served with a wonderful dressing. We were at the restaurant next door 21 Spices on Valentine's Day, when we discovered this place the first week it opened. For the first couples of years we dined here at least 3-4 X per season, but have stopped coming since after Covid for no particular reason. We came back for the first time in years, and were reminded how Outstanding the food is. You start off with the puffy bread. OMG!! The best bread ever. Comes out warm. Yummy. Then we had to get our favorite appetizer. It's Chef Rachid sampler platter and has a variety of mezzes. I highly recommend this appetizer to try different samplings of Turkish food. Be aware though, this sampler is eggplant heavy with 4 different preparations. All is delicious. 2 -3 types of hummus. The original is tasty, but we loved the beet one. See picture for the different samplings. For dinner, I had the branzino special; whole fish fillet. My husband had the half chicken. Both were delicious. Honestly the food is what you would expect in a high-end "chefy" restaurant - it was that well prepared with special spices. The vibe of this restaurant is very casual, with ceiling exposed with exhaust pipe running across. Seating is tight, especially for 2 people. Though the food is outstanding, we wouldn't bring out of town guests here who want to get a Naples experience. It would be great take-out however. They opened up a takeout counter since we were here last. Good idea. It was crowded the night we came, and have always been in prior years we have dined here. In future, we may just take-out if we can't get a table. The prices are reasonable. If they upgraded their dining decor, they could probably charge more. However, I don't think they are trying to compete with the 5th Avenue restaurants. For the most part, service was very good. Sophia was our waitress and she was exceptional. One of the waiters gave us a detailed explanation of each of the mezzes. The lady at the front desk reception was professional but not friendly. She sat us in a small 2 seater when there were open 4 tops. From a business perspective, I understand that they wanted to keep it open for guests with larger numbers than a couple. However, it makes dining not as comfortable. Overall, very good experience and will definitely come back. The food really is that good. read more

We had a reservation so we were seated pretty quickly. There was a long line so I would definitely recommend getting reservations. Initially, the service was slow, and I'm not sure if it was because of how busy it was. We got our water quick but drinks and pita took a good 10minutes. It's not a quiet place, as they are busy, but worth the wait and trying the food. We ordered the Beirut platter and a mixed kabob platter. Best Lebanese food I've ever eaten. Truly remarkable food. We started with the classic hummus and the falafel and then moved to the mixed grilled mashawi which included chicken shish taouk, kafta chicken, lamb rack, kafta lamb, roasted vegetables, Lebanese rice and onion salad (there are two big kafta pieces under the lamb chop in my picture but you can't see them; plenty of protein to share) . The quality and preparation of the meats blew me away. I was just in shock by all of the wonderful textures and flavors. Clearly, the person who owns this restaurant understands how to prepare meat. It was perfect. The service was warm and inviting and the restaurant decor was comfortable and well-lit. We are planning on going back this week again. I can't even talk about the bread. I also can't talk about the harissa or the garlic sauce/paste. Just go in and eat here. You will love it. The prices are a little higher than I expected but the quality and quantity of the mixed grill was plentiful. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and the flavor was divine. The hummus was creamy and disappeared with the unmentionable bread. The three items we ordered easily fed all three of us. Last night, my boyfriend and I found this place not far from where we were staying. We're on vacation and had been spending a lot of time in downtown Naples. We wanted something different. It was a busy evening at the restaurant, which gave us a lot of hope for what our experience would be. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! It completely surpassed my favorite place for Mediterranean food in Chicago. The fresh baked bread with the olive oil and spices were tough not to finish too fast. I had to be reminded that we still had food coming! We enjoyed the falafel appetizer which was wonderfully seasoned. Dip it in tahini sauce and the flavor was complete. (Make sure to ask for extra sauce.) My boyfriend had the Chicken Shawarma, a long time favorite of his. He loved this entree so much, it was gone in a flash! Luckily, I was able to sneak just one bite. I ordered my favorite - Kafta. It was a generous portion of ground lamb served with rice, roasted vegetables, bread, and hummus. I ate so much of the bread and the falafel, that I was too full to finish my dish. Nonetheless, I loved it and will be enjoying the leftovers later today! Service was very friendly. After we ordered, we got our food pretty quickly. The ambiance was lively! The only reason why this review isn't 5 stars is that, once the food was delivered to our table, it was a bit difficult to get a server's attention for more water, tahini sauce, and even our bill. All the servers were in constant movement. Perhaps they need to hire more servers - the restaurant was PACKED! Took my two year old with us to sit down and the staff was so kind to her. They had Highchair and a changing table. They offered her a sweet treat and extra bread to keep her happy. This restaurant has a lot of good things, but the best part in my opinion is the delicious and filling food (and of course, the free bread)! I tried Chef Rashid's Platter ($21.40 with tax) and although the portions of each part looked small, I was quite stuffed and very satisfied at the end, especially after all the free bread. The tabbouleh was very refreshing while the savory baba ghanoush, hummus, and moussaka were my favorites. There was only one thing I was not a fan of on the platter (a sour stuffed green pepper with a pungent white cream). Overall though, the diversity of flavors made every bite exciting. I went in the afternoon when there were not many customers, so I can't speak to the service during peak hours, but my waiter was very helpful and answered my questions.
