Excited to try a close to home Gyro spot, let's just say my husband and I were nothing short of disappointed. 32$ later, my pita bread on the traditional gyro was hard, the lettuce inside was a salad mix, not chopped /shredded lettuce, the Tzatziki sauce was sub par, and definitely lacking dill along with other authentic flavors. The price point on the gyro was impressive, but $7.50 for loaded fries that just have cheese and a special sauce? For an up charge of $4 from their regular fries, I would've hoped for some meat? This has become a fave spot for our office crew. We can order online and send someone to go pick it up. It's an ideal lunch, filling but not heavy. My husband and I went there today. Although the food was fresh, the gyro had hardly any meat in it and they charged $3 for extra white sauce. I ordered a Greek salad for which they provided maybe an ounce of dressing which made it very dry. When a second dressing was requested, my husband was charged another $1.... for these reasons, we would never go back. What I do have a problem with are the prices on the blackboard are not the prices you are charged. Just about everything is at least a dollar more and the add ons which are listed at 99 cents are actually $1.29 each. Please update the board. The food was good but underwhelming. Service wasn't great; I didn't mind waiting a few minutes, but the cashier was not very friendly and the drive thru microphone was broken. Even my boyfriend who isn't the biggest greek fan, loved this! They use a lemon white sauce instead of tzatziki and it was wonderful. I love Tzatziki and they offer it but hes not the biggest fan so having this option was great. The loaded fries were great and the greek dressing for the greek salad was very favorful! Just not good. Ordered a classic gyro with Tzatziki. Lamb was obviously sitting in a pan of water, so was mushy...and absolutely no flavor at all. Tzatziki was essentially watered down sour cream...again no flavor. I've had plenty of gyros and this by far was the worst. How do you not have any flavor in a gyro??
