I really like this place, I do. The plants are great, the owner has always been good about helping answer any question. There's no pressure sales or anything like that. However, the last three times I've been here finding anyone to help is not happening. My last experience was this weekend and the guy working seemed to know about as much about plants as I did - which wasn't reassuring. I'm not sure why he didn't get someone else to assist him who would have had more knowledge about the plants either... It sucks because I really like the plants here, and had good experiences in the past. But in the last few months after 10-15 min of not finding anyone to help, I end up leaving with no plants. read more

I only have one question..What took you so long to get here?! Dig It Gardens is exactly what this neighborhood needed. The fam and I came to the grand opening and even in their first day this place is simply perfect. This isn't your ordinary nursery with boring staff. Everyone was extremely organized and friendly. They helped us find just the right plants and pots to help us start our little urban garden. Really lively and energetic energy and cool plants, pots, and supplies throughout the garden. This is a little leafy oasis in the City. I was able to find a few plants not available at larger nurseries. However, I drove to find hanging baskets and the pricing was higher than their competitors and the selection quite small. This is an intimate place with only one person working that I had to walk outside and find to pay for my purchase. The selection seems to be somewhat hit or miss. It is a lovely little place, but it wasn't worth the extra drive time. I do hope it continues to do well because this area needs a plant nursery. read more

We had a great experience at Dig It! Paul is very knowledgeable and was helpful in plant selection for our indoor space. He potted our plants and even put decorative pebbles on top! Pretty dissapointed with my visit here. I get it...all nurseries have the "winter blues" right now....but the selection during my visit, was pretty poor. I didn't browse through the trees and larger plants...I was there to look for anything tropical and maybe some succulents. The succulents I did find outside were in awful shape. A lot of them falling apart and a very small, unimpressive selection. I can find better at my local Home Depot. Went inside the building to check out the smaller potted plants in there. Was really dissapointed to see bone dry prayer plants hanging from the shelf. They all looked pretty sad. I would think a nursery would pay special attention to the humidity loving plants and make sure they get the moisture they need to thrive...I mean..we ARE in the desert. Anyways, even though the selection wasn't the greatest and most of the plants I saw were in rough shape..I decided to get three because I'm a sucker for plants and can't say no. Customer service was pretty non existent/non friendly (even though there were five very serious looking employees randomly about). One of the plants I got is already dead. It was browning on the edges when I got it. I thought I could save it, but I think it had been abused for too long. The other two are still around but my husband makes fun of their condition all the time. He calls them the sad plants. They're getting better with care, but it's an extremely slow process. Maybe this place will be better in the spring when fresh shipments arrive and everything is ready to grow again. But then again, WalMart will be too. Mist your poor prayer plants! read more

Was there when they first opened, bought a very cool glass planter, plus some Dig It recommended succulents and fertilizer, and the plants are still thriving a year later. Love this place!! I stopped in last weekend to buy a small agave for my front porch and the guy who helped me out was great. He was very knowledgeable and didn't mind spending time with me to pick the right plant and answer all my questions. They also have some really cool planters / pots in stock and he transplanted my agave from the container to the pot for free. They carry a huge variety of succulents and cactus in all price ranges. Super cute plant shop with tons of succulents (my fav)! I had a great experience here, however I am super disappointed because I bought a $20 string of pearls plant and a couple of days after I brought it home it started to rot. The pearls would turn black and squishy. Now, about 2 weeks later, the entire plant is completely dead. I've never had this happen with a succulent before and don't know why this happened. read more

I bought a palm plant a few months back and it started to die He told me to bring it in and took time out of his busy schedule to replant it with the correct soil and even sprinkled some magnesium.
