The food was alright, but nothing to write home about. I think I would've liked the fried chicken with a side of fries better than the Mac. again, not awful - I've just had better. What started out as a nice evening out ended suddenly. We were seated at a table for about 30 minutes. Suddenly the security guard jumps down and yells at us that we needed to move or leave because someone bought a bottle. The way he jumped down at us scared us. There was absolutely no reason to be rude to us and treat us as if we were second class. When the security guard dumped our drinks in the trash was when we really got ticked off. Then we got kicked out for being mad about our drinks. The behavior of the security guards was over the top. Definitely don't recommend and won't be back. read more

Huge disappointment. I love his music, and was hoping this was going to be a cool place. It's huge with a second floor and two bars. Although there's lots of seating, it was standing room only when we were there for a function. The service was friendly but sparse as there just wasn't enough staff to accommodate. The place wasn't decorated in a way that represented Dierks really. You could've turned it over into another place overnight. You can improve by having decent security guards that are not rude and obnoxious. Just cause they have a rent a cop badge and a flash light doesn't give them any reason to treat customers like trash. We had merchandise that was stolen from us , which they forced me to leave outside and stated they would look after it. Honestly, I feel like your own POS security guard took it. Me and my friends get invited by some people to one of their tables they purchased here. We were having a good time until one of the guys who invited us (some guy named Zach), was trying to dance with one of our female friends. She didn't want to dance with him and moved closer to me as a signal she wasn't interested in this guy. As a result, two bouncers later came to me and said they need to talk to me outside. Once there, they said I needed to leave. I asked why, and they said they were just following orders and couldn't tell me. I could tell even the bouncer thought this was ridiculous (he even gave me a fist bump because I was being cooperative). So just like that, I was kicked out and my night was ruined for no reason that was communicated to me. But I guess that's just denver. read more

This place gets so busy and it's a cool spot to go out for people in their young 20s but I will say I was hit on by random men a lot more than I would've liked. The prices were pretty high but kind of expected for a clubby bar like this one. It's a fun place to go out and dance and the venue is honestly pretty nice but the bartender was a little rude to me and it's definitely an environment where people go to meet new people which can definitely be fun depending on the vibe you're looking for. Dierk at LODO (Lower Downtown) Denver is a good place to be. Live music with good atmosphere. Food quality is better than most of the pub there. During nighttime, the street is blocked off for pedestrians only. I got several local brew beer like 1492, voodoo ranger, avalanche. Beer is fresh cold. Love the drink. The upstairs rooftop is also good view overlooking the ballpark. I like pork belly BBQ, slider, Devil egg. Pork belly and slider has good tastes. Music is country. Everyone should go once or twice, over priced everything and the drinks are eh but it's always one of the most poppin places to go out and I think it's going to stay that way. Locals do not go here unless the whole friend group insisted. St. Patrick's Day .... Soooo Busy ! So the crowd is a bit younger than myself and my friend (female) we went there with a group of other friends, we all went our separate ways just to explore ... well what an experience that was! In the hour we where there Not Once Did We Get Asked If We Needed Anything! we went upstairs. There was a DJ plenty of bartenders and servers, but so super crowded that you could not even walk with your beer/cocktail at your side (waist) . My girlfriend and myself finally found a table we sat down tried to get one of the waitresses to come over to take our order. The waitresses and bartenders were dressed in green tiny crop tops and flared white skirts.... We sat upstairs at the table for I'm going to say about 20 minutes got completely ignored so he got up and went to the bar. No big deal finally got the beers that we wanted. Walked through the crowd carefully as to not get our beer spilled on us made our way downstairs where it was less crowded. Found another table to sit on close to the bar. Of course it was more bartenders down there more waitresses, and like I said less crowded as I mentioned at the beginning of my review. The crowd was a little bit younger as were the servers/bartenders tried to get the attention of a server again completely got ignored they just walked by us. I don't know if it was our age. Well, OK, I'm gonna go out on a limb, and say that it was probably our age that did not get us served. NOW I Don't Want To Be Using The Discrimination card Butttt... My Girlfriend And I Felt That The Reason We Didn't Get Served At Our Table Was Because Of Our Age After feeling totally ignored, we decided just to call our Uber to just go ahead and leave. A silver hair security guard unprofessional and putting his hands on me out of nowhere inside the bar asking me to leave for getting my foot stepped on by a heel and reacting in such a way that was apparently aggressive and yelling ouch! This was my first time visiting Denver and my first time trying out Dierks. This bar was super cute! I love the theme. It's decorated so nicely and it's actually very spacious bar which I like. They have brunch and a rooftop but we didn't go upstairs. We just wanted to grab something quick so we sat at the bar. The waitresses were very nice and we didn't have to wait too long for our food or drinks. The food was actually good also. Everything we tried was pretty tasty. Once we were in the bartenders were quick with the drinks too! Definitely speak up to get there attention if need be once it gets late in the night because it got packed ! We stayed on the bottom floor because the DJ was lit (mix of everything!) There was fireworks which was our favorite part too lol.
