Met a friend for his pre birthday celebration drinks at Swanky's Vittles & Libations. Glad we stayed for a bite to eat, they delivered on flavor and comfort food cravings. The Rajun Cajun burger was flavorful and cooked perfectly, with a nice medium amount of heat, could have been a little spicier for us. The wings were a standout--crispy, juicy, and with garlic Parmesan and buffalo sauces, giving the best of both worlds. The cheese curds, a little squeak and lightly battered. Everything came out fresh and satisfying, making it an easy spot to recommend for a laid-back vibe with great food. I've been around the LoDo area hundreds of times and been to quite a few bars in the area. It's the area you go typically when you're looking for a wild night out but Swanky's does not give that vibe. It seemed more like a chill, sports bar if that is what you are looking for. I decided to take 2 stars off because I thought it was quite ridiculous that I was charged $20, $10 each for chicken tenders and cheese curds, and got 3 tenders and a small handful of curds. The tequila slushie didn't have much a flavor either. It just tasted like frozen tequila. My party did not feel welcomed there and it seemed like they were trying to rush us to leave. 1 star was taken for that since it was a little closer to closing time. read more

As a Packer fan in Denver, Swanky's is one of those bars on rotation to watch games. It's hard to even say how I rate Swanky's because of so many pros/cons back-and-forth. It's a smaller bar so it fills up fast for many Packer games. Sometimes, though, this 2021 season where they had the best record in the NFL, it actually wasn't fully packed for each of the times I went. I wonder why? Well, as for me, I don't love the food options they have. It's very basic, boring bar food, which I just think they could do a little better on it. I realized they may not have a big kitchen but still, there are always ways to update the menu and make improvements. The DJ sometimes gets too DJ-happy and is playing, well blasting, the music when I want to hear what they are saying on TV with the football game. Like chill dude, we are here for the game not for the DJ. I really haven't touched all those slushies, because I just think they're probably going to be ridiculously loaded with gobs of sugar and I don't need that in my life or in my head the next day. I'll admit at least that I haven't tried to really say how they taste. Maybe one day I'll ask if I can sample one that doesn't seem too gross (to me personally). But, for those that like these types of drinks, this is the perfect bar for you as they have so, so many slushie options! The staff is usually pretty cool, at least the times I've gone they've been hardworking and attentive. With that said, a pet peeve and something I see in Denver A LOT is a wrong bill. I don't know what it is about this city, but you all need to check and keep and check your bills again, don't leave the receipt on the tables! I've caught so much. And let's get this straight, it should not be wrong in the first place by the establishment or staff - they are responsible for providing correct bills. The customer is not responsible. The last time I went the game-day specials were charged incorrectly and I paid an extra 10 dollars. I only counted the number of drinks and didn't realize until the next day looking at the receipt, the # of drinks was correct but price per drink wasn't. I had to go back to that area so brought it with me to stop back in and ask about it and hope to get it fixed. My same server was there but she wasn't sure what to do, another server chimed in and told me to talk to someone behind the bar. The first thing this guy had the nerve to tell me was to blame ME and say why didn't I see this the day of (mind you this was only a couple of days after). I barely got to start answering him and another guy came over to help, he turned around and was doing something and turned back around to hand me the $10 cash, which is a MUCH better way of handling the situation than foolish guy #1. Came here on Saturday for several college football games, place was crowded but not obnoxiously so and had plenty of space. The wait staff did an amazing job with our 4 (which became 10) person group. Food was solid bar fare and came out quickly and drinks were reasonable, slushees were surprisingly good compared to many I've had. 5 stars because of the service from Britt and Savannah, despite the crowds we got drinks and food very quickly and with a great attitude. I recently had ACL surgery so was on crutches and a brace and Britt helped set up our tables so I could put my leg up and rest against a pillar. When an extremely inebriated patron fell on me Britt Savannah were quick to get the bouncer, and check on me as well as my group. Concerned about the lack of sitting, the door dude kindly escorted me to a section of the covered pool table for a space of my own in front of the gigantic screen. I have a friend who is a die hard packers fan, and he introduced me to Swanky's. This was my 2nd here. Music playing was phenomenal , old school r&b, pop, rock just all around good times. This is a great spot with plenty good vibes. Had the cheese curds in the previous visit, and again went with them. The cheese curds are exceptional. After reading Yelp reviews there were a few that spoke of the Mac-N-Cheese. We went with the Mac and cheese, and after all is said and done, it was to die for. They offer extra toppings, and they definitely worth a try. The waitress recommended the bacon. The bacon is thick cut, large chunks within, with a lovely smoky flavor! Perfect addition. The Mac and Cheese was very thick and creamy! Will defines be ordering that again, possibly with bacon and jalapeños. Waitress was amazing. She made sure we were aware of the local favorites and explained the new drink additions to us. Always a fun time at Swanky's, I have come to that conclusion. The waitress also made us aware of bingo going on that night hosted by a local queen with a naughty theme. So we eventually ending our night back at Swanky's for forbidden bingo. Great crowd, good entertainment, with plenty of laughs! As soon as the waitress noticed we were back she greeted us by letting us know she was glad to see we could make it back! We had several more drinks during the second visit if the night. We also ordered chips and queso and that was the only downfall of the night. They were not with ordering. Had a few hours to kill in Denver before a flight home. Decided to find a bar/restaurant to watch the Packers' game. I have been to a few different Packer bars throughout the country and this didn't disappoint. During the week I am sure it is a great sports bar but during Packer games it is definitely a Packer bar. Complete with flags out front to wait staff dressed in Packer gear to a huge Packer fan customer base. They have nice drink specials and the food was great. The wings were nice sized. Not the little ones you often get. The staff is what made it the best. They were attentive and quick and the drinks weren't watered down. Most impressive was the owner offering to keep our bags in a storeroom. We had checked out of our AirBnb and had a flight a few hours later. It was nice to know they were safe and out of the way. I will DEFINITELY return if ever in Denver again. Also less than a block from Coors Field if you are in town for a baseball game. Would be great for before and/or after the game. read more

Came here for the Packer game. I'm not sure who they played but I'm pretty sure they lost. It was packed per usual. If you want a specific seat get there hella early. This place is great to feel like you're at Lambeau. Everyone's super friendly, giving high fives and cheering. WEE! The food and beers are real good. Def get the cheese curds. I got the buffalo wrap and it was spicy AF. Be warned. Get extra ranch! Fries were good, chips and guac were good. Beers were a bit overprices but cheap in comparison to DT. They have a pretty good game day special and if you're serious you could def do some damage. Our server was new but very nice. She made a few mistakes like bringing out the wrong type of beers but she then brought out the right beers. She was very sweet but just green. She'll get the hang of it.
