Decent portion sizes for food for the price. Good happy hour deals. Food had decent flavor, wings probably were the best thing we got. Service was friendly, not very fast though. Inside is ok, nothing to write home about though. Could use a deep clean.

The reason we visited was because we heard multiple people recommend the food. Walking in the ambiance was immediately awkward. Patrons made us feel out of place with their staring and strange looks which our whole table noticed. It was an older crowd who seemed to look like they often visited. I feel like it's safe to say that people's biggest pet peeve is to spend hard earned money on bad food, this was one of those times for me. We ordered potato wedges, pretzel breadsticks and onion rings which were good. Typical bar food taste but nothing special. We then ordered a chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, brisket and brisket sandwich. We were all very disappointed. I usually take my food home if i don't finish but i definitely didn't this time. The food was flavorless. I ate the Mac and cheese because I was hungry but it tasted like nothing. I tasted the cornbread and I almost choked because of how dry it was. I blame myself for expecting the food to be as good as people say from a bar but i will not be back for even the bar food as you can find bar food like this anywhere in Fort Wayne.

It was good they've so many different options of cuisines and drinks with a full bar. Friendly staff and options were all available. In great location too across From Dunkin Donuts and a vintage shop.

Food and beverage joint - emphasis on latter- bar is not a safe place to be if you voice opinions that are considered controversial by certain service personnel. Controlled by "profit" motives allegedly, frequently over-serving clients and themselves, creating havoc. Beware IMHO.

Great beer selection and barbecue! Service is good and if you're there for lunch the salad bar has always been fresh.

Great staff...reasonable prices and a pretty good atmosphere. They have a nice deck for outside entertainment during the summer.

Went for lunch, service was slow and inattentive, food was cold, and I won't be visiting again.

Despite a kids menu, this establishment is NOT kid friendly. Please do your family a favor and visit another restaurant!

Fried carrot pakora was delicious! Highly recommend trying. The radish dish was ok, has a strange aftertaste but the fried capers were good. The pastas were both flavorful with homemade noodles. We went during happy hour, which is a great deal. A bit expensive if you don't go during happy hour. The beet spice cake was warm, flavorful and the syrup on top you could drink! Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Can get quite cold in there as the main doors opens directly into the space. Love the idea of the community table too.

Everything about my dinner at Rune was amazing. Every little thing. This is officially my favorite…read morerestaurant in Fort Wayne. I guess I'll skip to the end when I got my check, and was completely shocked to learn that I had a fantastic meal and an excellently made spritz, plus dessert, for a shockingly low price. I even double-checked the check, to make sure they didn't accidentally leave something off. No! How could it be? It turns out that I was visiting Rune during happy hour, which is Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 6 p.m. This could be why my bill was so agreeable. So, if you're looking for a great meal for a great price, visit during happy hour. So, the spritz. Literally every table ordered the spritz while I was there, including me. It was a great choice, and it looked especially pretty and ombre in a glass with ice. Like any good spritz, it had just enough alcohol to make things sparkle a little, but was also refreshing and hydrating. I made a note in my phone to remember that the bartender used words like "vegetal" and "herbaceous" when talking about some of the cocktails to the people sitting at the bar. I love a good vegetal, herbaceous drink, and it made me want to order another cocktail. Instead, I ordered the green spaghetti from the happy hour menu, which is a paired down menu, but has a lot of the items from the regular menu. The spaghetti was bright green from a pesto made from ramps, nori butter and parmesan, and there were also bits of clams throughout. It was rich and buttery! Ramps are one of those things that I have to get when I see them on a menu during the spring. They're only around for a short time, so they're precious. For dessert, I went with the pot de creme, which was flavored with pho spices (cinnamon, anise, coriander, cardamom, fennel, etc.) and had peanuts and chocolate on the bottom. Holy fudgy bottom! This was the smoothest, most balanced dessert I've eaten in a long time. Smooth, but with the occasional peanut here and there to make things interesting. The service was excellent. I was dining by myself, so I got seated at a cozy little table, lit with a candle, that was off to the side but also in the center of everything, so I could people watch, which is one of my favorite things to do. I wanted for nothing the entire time, but was also left the eff alone. It was perfect. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had that I can remember.

Lanes are super close together (duh) so the room is limited. I recommend 2 lanes if you're doing more than 6 people. 1 hour was enough time to play one game with six people at a casual pace. Table space while you're bowling is limited so we usually bowl with drinks and a group appetizer and then move back to the tables to have an actual meal. Lots of fun with good food in a friendly atmosphere. Get the blood Mary "all dressed up" (yeah I know it's $24 but it's well worth it) We tried the Crying Johnny Smashburger (tastes like POWERS used to. IYKYK), the chicken TENDIES, and the red velvet pancakes they have for brunch. We drank the PB & J old-fashioned, a Paloma and that bloody Mary that I would seriously consider trading my teenager for. Today was our 2nd time in 2 months and we plan on going back sooner than later. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Ducky's - duck pin bowling is fun, but is the food good?…read more Ducky's advertises themselves as a scrap kitchen. So...it should be good, right? They don't have a very big menu. There are five entrees to go along with a small amount of burger, chicken tender and appetizer choices. I went with the burger of the month - the pizza burger. The friendly waiter said the pizza sauce was made in house from scratch. The sauce was outstanding! It was thick and sweet with a bold tomato paste taste. The bun was soft and slightly grilled with a buttery flavor - very nice! It is odd that the burger is served in halves and vertical. The burger patty was very thin and cooked to a medium well done consistency - I would prefer medium rare but they didn't ask my preference. I thought the burger was over cooked and a bit tough/crunchy on the edges. It did have and nice high quality meat flavoring as it is sourced locally. The burger was covered with grilled pepperoni. This added a nice "pizza" flavor when combined with a nice bedding of mozzarella cheese. My wife really liked her chicken tenders. They were nice and moist. The breading was unique, tasty and crispy. She said the fries were very good while the best part might have been the house fry dipping sauce. That sauce was a nice combination of southwest and traditional meat flavorings. The side salad, to replace the fries, was fresh yet very small. The salad came in a half-ball type dish that was slightly larger than half a baseball. The half ball was actually unstable to eat out of. I had to cup the bowl with one hand to keep it from tipping over. The salad had a few side tomato and pepper parts added. There just isn't much room for things in this small of a dish. We decided to try the strawberry bread pudding for dessert. This was a fantastic dish! The breading was basically two pieces of fried French toast. It was soft on the inside with a cinnamon swirl and strawberry pieces. The breading was drizzled with a thin moderately sweet strawberry flavored syrup. The syrup was accompanied by some fresh whipped cream also bathed in syrup. Overall, Ducky's does have good food. They have a limited menu at moderately expensive prices. My preference would be to sit down and enjoy the scratch made items versus squeezing them in while you bowl. Also consider dinning at Ducky's and walking across the street the Pearl Arts Center for a program.
