Ordered takeout, delivery. Great burger! Super messy but amazing. Try the Fort Wayne Frank! Delicious! I'll never have a hot dog without bbq chips on it again. The grilled bread bun was my favorite. Really annoyed when I called to place an order they told me I could not place an order over the phone. I had to place an order online when I explained why I didn't wanna purchase an order online. They told me they were sorry but I could only purchase an order online just FYI when you order online, everything is 4 to 5 dollars more expensive because you're paying the third-party fees, which is totally unfair if I'm going to pick it up myself. We ascended on them coming from a convention. You couldn't fit another body in the dining room/line. They took all orders quickly and got all orders and shakes out for everyone quickly others were saying it was the best burger. The Ft Wayne Frank was awesome. The cheese fries were great. First and last time we'll be eating here. Veggie burger was so wet, not one crisp edge or component to be had, and all on a steamed, wet bun. Flavor was okay but it was a wet sloppy mess. The others in my group ordered regular burgers. The person taking orders said it'd be like a smash burger but it wasn't. Again, the grill was not hot enough: no char, no flavor, almost as good as...never mind. It wasn't good. And the churro shake: mildly pleasing with subtle flavor, but that disgusting dry churro shaped kitchen sponge was truly gross. Ruined the whole thing. Burger was pretty good. Shoestring fries were tasty but over-salted. I was surprised not to see a larger variety of burger toppings available for someplace called Burger Bar - it's just the basics. The menu is small. The dining room is fairly small although I was there mid-week when not much was going on downtown so there was no wait at all and food came out pretty quickly. I like this place! There are several factors, but, the main one is location. This restaurant has such a great location. It's centrally located in the downtown area. It's easy to find, it has clear signage. I was reminded of a downtown, big city, urban setting. It puts me in the mind of downtown Chicago, which I love. The restaurant is clean and they have a great staff. I can only imagine next summer it will be a nice draw to the ballpark area. It's good for dates, family time, a quick girls meet up, just a neat spot. I could go on and on about how much I like the place. The food is good. It's a fresh made burger, it's simple and good. I didn't care for the fries, but they aren't bad. I'll return, I'm sure, but I'll just stick to a burger and drink. read more

Their outdoor dining menu isn't extensive, but offered a few great options, including the veggie freak burger that I ordered. My boyfriend and I also split their shake of the day! There is outdoor seating along Jefferson, but as Hampton Inn guests, we walked to some secluded couch seating behind the hotel, which the restaurant is adjacent to. Food is garbage. Stopped in around 1230 for lunch. Placed order at a kiosk & waited at least 10 mins for a simple burger & fries. Fries were cold, soggy, definitely old which was odd for prime lunch time. Receipt clearly listed off ingredients I added & was missing half of them. I removed everything but the burger was so slapped together it was impossible to enjoy. For $15 at a "burger joint" this was pretty disappointing. Wouldn't give it another try. Great burger joint! Hidden gem next to a hotel and by the Tincaps ballpark. I'm a sucker for a good ol juicy cheeseburger. The queso with the fries was a nice little surprise. Fries are the thin shoestring fries that I love. They were perfectly fried so they were crispy but still tender. Was not super busy, but the service was excellent. Greeted when I came in, took my order, answered my questions about the menu and remembered me when my order was ready.
