Great menu selection. Food was excellent. Had the ribs and curly fries for lunch.

Went for lunch. Place was busy so I knew it would be good. They did not disappoint. Service was excellent very efficient

Nice cozy bar. Good selection of liquor and 8 taps. Had an old fashioned and a Malibu and Diet Pepsi. Diet Coke not here. Looks like they have trivia night. Cheers!

BBQ chicken breast/ribs backed potatoes notice how the butter didn't even melt because food was not hot?

Great food, cozy atmosphere, nice staff. Food is really good. We make a point to stop here whenever we are in the area. This particular visit was disappointing to say the least. Server was off her game,, service was slow, main dishes brought to the table room temp:( they were not busy so not sure what the problem was. Portions were much smaller than past visits, sign of the times.

Fantastic Burger, great service at this long-established restaurant. Stopped by with friends who live nearby and raved about the place...we weren't disappointed.

Onion rings, stuffed mushrooms, white chicken chilli and potato soup.

To start out this review of the Nine Mile restaurant, it was our first time ever coming here to eat. It was a busy Sunday night with a full parking lot. However, even though they were busy all of our food came out fast. All of the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. All of our food was good especially the fish and the stuffed mushrooms we would definitely come back for. The only disappointment of the entire meal was all 3 soups that came to the table. Two potato soups and one white chicken chili came out cold. Even though they were a little on the cold side, the soups still had solid flavor. But we will be glad to return again to try some more delicious food next time!

    Amazing!!

I ordered a BLT salad with chicken. The chicken was way over cooked bordering on burnt. The salad was not worth ordering.

Also shoutout to our server Noah who was awesome and funny. Not only was he gents or he also recommended! For it to be a carpeted space, it was very clean on the inside and smelled really fresh. The smell of food hit me before I even got inside. The seats were comfortable and they even had bar searing as well as an event space room. The food really deserves its own review but I can't leave two . Everything I would get again no questions asked! My only suggestion would be maybe add a tad of seasoning to the wings but the smoke flavor and sauce was too tier! Easy 10/10 for me!

Spoke + Ivy (west Main Street, FW) - another locally unique dinning experience that deserves a try…read more Spoke + Ivy is located on west Main Street - across the parking lot from Redwood Inn restaurant, if that helps. This restaurant is set in an old building that used to house a pharmacy. It retains the character of the building via the hardwood interiors, tall ceilings, large window views of the street and concrete/industrial ceilings. The interior is nicely decorated with inviting green, brown wood and black accent colors. Table settings were very attractive as well. You can park in the small side lot or on the street. Reservations are easily made on line. The team is very friendly and welcoming. All set the stage for a fun and relaxing dinner experience. Spoke + Ivy has a very small food and specialty cocktail menu. This is the second time we have been here. Each time we found the food to be delicious and the cocktails are uniquely designed. Here is a run down on the food items we ordered: -Focaccia Bread: a mildly sweet, dense/firm bread, slightly airy with a touch of herbs to accent. It is cut into blocks so it is easier to share. The vodka sauce is thin in consistency with a smooth Italian seasoned tomato appeal. Both make for a deliciously simple starter. -Lobster Roll Rangoon: decided to give this a try. It comes out as one large Rangoon - not individual pieces. This means that you must awkwardly cut this shareable into pieces. The slightly crispy & oily wrapper is similar to most crab Rangoon pieces. It has a nice crisp. The inside has shredded pieces of lobster. It was not filled with creme cheese sauce like traditional rangoons - just plain. The green lemon parsley sauce was simply outstanding! It's very fresh, moderately thick and has a slightly tart taste. This added "the sauce" to what the inside of the Rangoon was lacking. -Milanese: nicely breaded chicken that was very moist. The breading is slightly sweet. The fresh bed of arugula salad is a nice add -Prime Rib Pho: this sounded really interesting. It's a smaller/healthier dish. The medium rare prime rib was sliced thin and tender. There wasn't many pieces of prime rib in this dish. The add-ins were fresh and much like you would expect from a Pho dish - just not as much volume. The broth has a chili oil base that gives it a spicier flavor. Overall we really enjoy this relaxed atmosphere and character of the building. The delicious food and cocktails are excellent.

We were seated in a very awkward corner table for two where the tables were really close together. Since it was our Valentine's celebration, I would have been uncomfortable with the tables next to us having people at them because it didn't give you any privacy or space for private conversation. We did not get drinks or appetizers. Our meals were very good (salmon and chicken). The server was good but didn't refill my water and that' a big deal to me. Also, it's supposed to be an upscale place and they were out of paper towels in the bathroom. I feel like that is just basic service they should check on regularly.

Lanes are super close together (duh) so the room is limited. I recommend 2 lanes if you're doing more than 6 people. 1 hour was enough time to play one game with six people at a casual pace. Table space while you're bowling is limited so we usually bowl with drinks and a group appetizer and then move back to the tables to have an actual meal. Lots of fun with good food in a friendly atmosphere. Get the blood Mary "all dressed up" (yeah I know it's $24 but it's well worth it) We tried the Crying Johnny Smashburger (tastes like POWERS used to. IYKYK), the chicken TENDIES, and the red velvet pancakes they have for brunch. We drank the PB & J old-fashioned, a Paloma and that bloody Mary that I would seriously consider trading my teenager for. Today was our 2nd time in 2 months and we plan on going back sooner than later. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Ducky's - duck pin bowling is fun, but is the food good?…read more Ducky's advertises themselves as a scrap kitchen. So...it should be good, right? They don't have a very big menu. There are five entrees to go along with a small amount of burger, chicken tender and appetizer choices. I went with the burger of the month - the pizza burger. The friendly waiter said the pizza sauce was made in house from scratch. The sauce was outstanding! It was thick and sweet with a bold tomato paste taste. The bun was soft and slightly grilled with a buttery flavor - very nice! It is odd that the burger is served in halves and vertical. The burger patty was very thin and cooked to a medium well done consistency - I would prefer medium rare but they didn't ask my preference. I thought the burger was over cooked and a bit tough/crunchy on the edges. It did have and nice high quality meat flavoring as it is sourced locally. The burger was covered with grilled pepperoni. This added a nice "pizza" flavor when combined with a nice bedding of mozzarella cheese. My wife really liked her chicken tenders. They were nice and moist. The breading was unique, tasty and crispy. She said the fries were very good while the best part might have been the house fry dipping sauce. That sauce was a nice combination of southwest and traditional meat flavorings. The side salad, to replace the fries, was fresh yet very small. The salad came in a half-ball type dish that was slightly larger than half a baseball. The half ball was actually unstable to eat out of. I had to cup the bowl with one hand to keep it from tipping over. The salad had a few side tomato and pepper parts added. There just isn't much room for things in this small of a dish. We decided to try the strawberry bread pudding for dessert. This was a fantastic dish! The breading was basically two pieces of fried French toast. It was soft on the inside with a cinnamon swirl and strawberry pieces. The breading was drizzled with a thin moderately sweet strawberry flavored syrup. The syrup was accompanied by some fresh whipped cream also bathed in syrup. Overall, Ducky's does have good food. They have a limited menu at moderately expensive prices. My preference would be to sit down and enjoy the scratch made items versus squeezing them in while you bowl. Also consider dinning at Ducky's and walking across the street the Pearl Arts Center for a program.

They have a different menu than a normal lunch or dinner menu. Those menus are usually large and full of great choices. The brunch menu is much narrower and dominated by breakfast items. There are some non breakfast items...but not many. My wife had the breakfast tacos. She really liked the egg and bacon mixture. The sour cream and salsa sauces blended the tastes nicely. The Cobb salad was very fresh and tasty. There were lots of side ingredients such as egg, avocado, bacon, blue cheese, tomato and cucumber. The grilled chicken was plentiful and moist. Just enough grilled and seasoned taste to blend right in with the ingredients. The home made honey mustard dressing was consistent with what you would expect from honey mustard.
