I was confused that the sauce options were not on the menu. However the kind bartender gave me an 8 pack of sauces to try. I found that the Carolina mustard sauce was my favorite. Very mild in spice. The consistency was also thin so it had trouble sticking to the wing. A slight mustard taste that accented the crispy fried skins nicely. This order had 10 nicely sized wings. The wing was was cooked perfectly - no pink on the inside. The skin was nicely crisp without being crunchy. Extra crispy wings have never been my favorite. However, Rack & Hellen's did an incredible job with these wings! I loved the onions rings. A large-thick piece of onion with a thick batter. The batter was moderately crispy but a bit oily to taste. Definitely recommend! The mac salad was very good. They use a larger shell along with egg and possibly onion. The mayo is pretty heavy. However the dish was pretty tasty! On this occasion I sat at the bar. The place was busy. There were plenty of servers hustling and helping each other. The bartenders were very kind and friendly. I was pleased that the food came out rather quickly!

After a quick search I ran across Morgan's, which was close to our destination. We both were blown away by the food, the very efficient and friendly staff, and owners and especially our waitress, Alyssa ( Who was awesome) and the beyond reasonable prices. My wife had the shrimp Po' Boy, which she said it was as good if not better than her favorite she had eaten in New Orleans. I had the Breaded tenderloin, it was great size ( not the classic big as a hubcap tenderloin, but that's what made this great) and perfect thickness, they do all the meat prep on site, one of the best I have ever had. In addition to this, we had the fried mushrooms, we never had any this big and were delicious and I had to try the pork rinds, once again awesome. We could have easily made a meal for the two us on the appetizers alone. I know it is a long review, but just a few words aren't enough to say how good Morgan's is, and we plan on making a trip back soon. Great job guys!

Pretty tasty, but sweeter than expected, and one had to really hunt for any tiny little lobster pieces. Our table had 2 black and bleu burgers w/really good fries; the brisket grilled cheese, which our friend said was delicious, w/fries; and the ala-carte tacos which were amply filled but needed seasoning desperately. No accompanying salsa, and no crispy chips or other sides. Each taco came on its own separate tiny plate, so they cooled very quickly.

Spoke + Ivy (west Main Street, FW) - another locally unique dinning experience that deserves a try…read more Spoke + Ivy is located on west Main Street - across the parking lot from Redwood Inn restaurant, if that helps. This restaurant is set in an old building that used to house a pharmacy. It retains the character of the building via the hardwood interiors, tall ceilings, large window views of the street and concrete/industrial ceilings. The interior is nicely decorated with inviting green, brown wood and black accent colors. Table settings were very attractive as well. You can park in the small side lot or on the street. Reservations are easily made on line. The team is very friendly and welcoming. All set the stage for a fun and relaxing dinner experience. Spoke + Ivy has a very small food and specialty cocktail menu. This is the second time we have been here. Each time we found the food to be delicious and the cocktails are uniquely designed. Here is a run down on the food items we ordered: -Focaccia Bread: a mildly sweet, dense/firm bread, slightly airy with a touch of herbs to accent. It is cut into blocks so it is easier to share. The vodka sauce is thin in consistency with a smooth Italian seasoned tomato appeal. Both make for a deliciously simple starter. -Lobster Roll Rangoon: decided to give this a try. It comes out as one large Rangoon - not individual pieces. This means that you must awkwardly cut this shareable into pieces. The slightly crispy & oily wrapper is similar to most crab Rangoon pieces. It has a nice crisp. The inside has shredded pieces of lobster. It was not filled with creme cheese sauce like traditional rangoons - just plain. The green lemon parsley sauce was simply outstanding! It's very fresh, moderately thick and has a slightly tart taste. This added "the sauce" to what the inside of the Rangoon was lacking. -Milanese: nicely breaded chicken that was very moist. The breading is slightly sweet. The fresh bed of arugula salad is a nice add -Prime Rib Pho: this sounded really interesting. It's a smaller/healthier dish. The medium rare prime rib was sliced thin and tender. There wasn't many pieces of prime rib in this dish. The add-ins were fresh and much like you would expect from a Pho dish - just not as much volume. The broth has a chili oil base that gives it a spicier flavor. Overall we really enjoy this relaxed atmosphere and character of the building. The delicious food and cocktails are excellent.
