While the hoagie itself was okay, I didn't love the bread (reminded me of bread from Kroger or Meijer, not NYC Italian crusty bread), and there was not a lot of meat/cheese, toppings, etc., especially for a $15 sandwich. The service was outstanding though... I'd like to go back and try one of the other sandwiches because the reviews are high.

At the point another employee came back and asked us what it was. It turns out he was a new employee and still finding his way. No problem. No one starts out an expert at anything. We told him that was the case originally, but it was corrected by another employee and it was good now. The food took about ten minutes and wasn't presented as the prettiest meal I've ever eaten. It made it a VERY messy, high-napkin-utilization meal. While the tables were addressed quickly after diners leaving, the floors were another story. This has never been an issue for us until yesterday when reaching checkout and paying for my sandwich I was confronted by the self proclaimed district manager of Jersey mikes requiring me to pay for two sandwiches. The store staff had incorrectly made my request into two regular sandwiches one being turkey and one being ham (neither being an actual club sub.) At the time of this confrontation I had already completed the purchase and was simply waiting for the sandwich. I reiterated to the district manager and other restaurant staff my order was for one sub with no additional meat - simply split the way I had requested. The manager became aggressive, again reiterating that now I had to pay for two sandwiches because they did not follow directions. Since this was not right I refused and I was told to leave the store and that I was now "banned from Jersey Mikes" according to the district manager. He proceeded to insult and mumble unprofessionally with zero tact as I stood waiting to be refunded for the sandwich I was no longer going to be allowed to receive.
