Wow! Everything amazing wow!…read more Very nice restaurant atmosphere! This is a pub with great pub beer options and even better food choices. The smoked pork on the nachos was delicious. The honey dry rub wings were interesting wife thought fantastic. Definitely unique and not bad just not my thing. The smoked wings with a dip sauce was banging ‼ Mike the manager was a great bar keeper and was kind to swap my wings no questions asked. So service was also 5 stars. If you're in Fort Wayne make the quick little trip over to Warsaw and definitely enjoy this solid 5 star Pub and restaurant!

Our evening turned out like this. It was 5:30pm we entered the restaurant and stood patiently in the family dining area . No one came. We sent a scout to the bar upstairs. He came down and told us that we could bring the 8 year old up if we sat in the hallway but it seated 4. Our scout carried a chair upstairs for our 5th party. We waited another 8 min. No one came . After 10 min. We prepared to leave . A server said, " are you leaving?". Yes! And we left. This was a Friday night experience. The server was there by herself. She was intending to cook-serve and bar tend. I wish this place the best. It's adorable. Since I can't judge the food or really the service, my suggestion is to call ahead and see if they are staffed and ready.

Quaint quiet town! The reception area is large and the depot is fantastic Just found out that a band plays here every Thursday. I bet this place will be hopping. Seriously, I wish we were sticking around longer- ordered the bean soup - husband says it's hot and good. Salmon sandwiches and steak burger. Side options are chips or applesauce. The food smells great while we wait. Pop is flat. Beer is cold. Water is wet. Gnat season is in full swing. Food is good. Nothing to ring a bell over but a solid dinner while traveling on 30. Just a mile off the highway!! Would I come back - sure, nothing but miles behind me and more in front of me to make this place a super spot for us to have made a reservation!!!

Their menu was just what we needed - a mix of salads, sandwiches and pizza alongside baked goods and coffee. We opted for the Greek Salad, Margherita pizza and a chicken pesto sandwich along with some coffee drinks. Oh, and I caved and picked up a Scotcheroo for nostalgia's sake ;) I really loved how nutritious the salad was - feta, quinoa, carrots, hummus, etc. All were great and it was a positive experience. We sat inside but they also have a great wrap around porch with lots of shade.

However the sandwiches were super disappointing. The menu says chicken, so we assumed like grilled chicken but it's actually sliced chicken and there was only 3 thin slices of chicken for the ENTIRE sandwich. Maybe .5 oz of meat for the whole sandwich. Mainly just bread and cheese, would hardly even call it a sandwich.

I didn't take any pictures but I'll go over the positives. The staff was super friendly, the food was quite good. I tried the bacon, turkey, and apple grilled cheese, I can't remember what sandwich my friend had. Both came with a bag of chips and she had coffee. And we enjoyed the cozy, quiet atmosphere. We also decided to take one 1 bar of fudge each. I choose a birthday cake one and she took home a peanut butter one. As for the negatives I would say this. The limited operating hours doesn't help alot of people. They are closed after 3 so dinner is out. The menu is very limited. Basically a soup and sandwiches type of place. And since it's connected to a used furniture and antique the decor and atmosphere might not be for everyone. And some might scoff at the price tag of $10 for just a sandwich and bag of chips. But all in all, I like having a quiet time with a good friend and some simple food in a cozy place. I'd like a little more food, but it's not a deal breaker. We'll be back sometime.

The crust is perfect- flaky, light. The filling is kind of like custard- thick, sweet but not overly so, with a hint of coconut (must be an Indiana thing) and a sprinkle of nutmeg. I end up having it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a pie only lasts a day or so with us. It's not quite like my grandmother's, but it's close, and it's a great pie.
