Parmesan bagel with chive & onion cream cheese
Ashley S.

The breakfast food here is 10 out of 10. The coffee is solid, but the food is exceptionally good. My husband had a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. He said it tasted like his mom made it. That's a very high compliment from us Southerners. I had a Parmesan bagel with onion & chive cream cheese. It was one of the best bagels I've ever had. Absolutely piping hot and delicious. My skim milk latte was good, also very hot which I love. My husband had an iced caramel macchiato with whole milk. I really appreciated the cloth napkins and real silverware. We'd definitely go back for more food! The ice cream looked good, too.

Large event and stage venue coffee and tea bar, beautiful and well designed area lovely outdoor sitting spot too, friendly staff, and fun menu with plenty to treat most anyone but noticed mostly sugar syrups in plastic pump bottles rather than anything crafted in the house, a sad miss that doesn't match the crafted atmosphere. I did sample a white Rose latte with coconut milk, great to see good non dairy options! But again alas with the syrups, it all settles! I ended up with a puddle of diabetes on the bottom. Had to vigorously stir things up, but doesn't quite work does it, tasted somewhat like a latte as a result. I always recommend coffee shops dip into creating their syrups because of this, enhancing flavors, providing quality lattes, and giving real value since anyone can go to Dunkin and Starbucks for the junky factory fresh sucrose goo.

Avocado toast with poached egg and sausage gravy

OH my god. Easily one of the best meals I've had in Fort Wayne (second only to cork and cleaver). I got avocado toast with poached egg and their sausage gravy. Freaking delish. Their biscuits and gravy is also top tier. Coffee is also yummerz.

Whew, thought I'd add a review since I came here after seeing a beautiful almond croissant in a previous photo review on yelp. Well I guess they've cut corners because it's nothing but donuts now. Coffee was good. Place is nicely designed, but it felt more like an airport cafe than something authentic. I'll try someplace else next time I'm in Fort Wayne. (Friendly staff and very clean).

The overall place is super nice! The atmosphere is top notch and their patio is beautiful! The service though is not exciting or amazing for the price of the food and drinks. The ladies that served us on a Saturday morning seemed not excited or cheerful. Seemed like my brother, fiancé and I were an inconvenience. The chai tea I got was okay but just tasted like soy milk with a chai flavor. My little brothers cold brew was good and my fiancé's hot chocolate was mediocre. I honestly could make a better hot chocolate with a mix. The cheese cake strawberry muffin though was delicious!!! In conclusion great atmosphere but horrible quality and service.

We've been here a few time as a family and my daughters many times together. Their coffee is amazing, food delicious and the staff is VERY attentive. We'd greatly encourage anyone to come as a rest stop, date coffee or just hang out.

We visit Fort Wayne from Chicago often, as we used to live there and loved it (still do). This time we noticed this new restaurant and stopped by for brunch. You cannot go wrong! this place offers such a quality food in a pleasant environment. Friendly staff, too. It was hard to keep the kids away from the pastries and cake! The price is unbeatable. Right across the road is the beautiful Foster Park where you do your morning walk/exercise and then stop by for a refreshing meal. Recommend it, for sure!

Wow! This is such a great addition to everything The Clyde has done for Quimby Village. This is such a cool venue with some of the nicest staff. As we entered we were instantly greeted with hello's and smiles from all members of the staff and instantly felt welcome. Aside from that, we had some of the BEST sandwiches and pastries! The Cuban was to DIE FOR. It was one of, if not, the best Cuban I have ever had. (I may or may not have had it two days in a row, but that's besides the point LOL) My husband and son got into the sweets with a sprinkled donut, peach ice cream, and espresso shake. They were all DELICIOUS! They have a pretty expansive menu and they stop serving the egg/egg sandwiches at 11AM. We can't wait to go back and watch how this place grows!

Just wow. I'm generously giving two stars because they clearly were struggling and understaffed (Labor Day), but after waiting 40 minutes for wraps (because they ran out of English muffins), it was a bland rubber egg burrito that was supposed to have avocado and tomato- and there were literally two small diced pieces of tomato (like 1/2" cubed) and less than a teaspoon of avocado. I get that there were too many customers and not enough staff, but this could have been a far better experience had the staff just said up front: "here's the situation: we are understaffed/ have new staff/ are all new..." whatever the hell the situation was. Instead, the chick who took my order was grumpy and curt, the staff that wasn't still looked frazzled and people were standing all over just waiting for simple stuff like a bagel. Had they given me the truth, I'd have just checked it and gone to Starbucks and had an hour of my life back. I have tons of patience for people struggling back post-pandemic or understaffed, but little patience for not communicating. Not sure what was going on, but wouldn't recommend going here for breakfast unless some things were addressed.

The cold morning run brought me here. Nestled next to the Clyde theater, the fire pit made it truly inviting to come by. I treated myself to macaroons and Chai latte, my all time favorite! Alot of seats for conversation with friends and alone time..

Nice and quiet during the early afternoon. I enjoyed good service and good coffee. Will be back for dinner at the restaurant connected.

The environment has a slightly industrial feel with just a hint of coziness, which gives it a modern but still comfortable vibe. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. It was alright -- nothing special, but given the size and volume of the place, I don't necessarily expect everything to be made completely fresh to order. It did the job. The service was also just alright. My interaction with the barista/bartender was brief and unfortunately a bit stale. She wasn't rude, just not particularly warm or memorable. Overall, it's a convenient place with a lot of options, but the experience itself was pretty average.

Penny Drip was open at 8:30am (blasting incredible music btw), ready to go. I got a vanilla latte (for me) and a pistachio matcha (my partner). Latte was great and the matcha was one of the best matchas I've ever tasted. Syrup was mixed perfectly - subtle matcha taste - everything you love to see. Loved their vibe - will definitely visit again when we're back in FW. Will need to try their vegan breakfast sandwich!

Dash In - historic downtown breakfast or lunch option…read more First off...Dash In won't appeal to everyone. The prices are a bit high compared to other places with similar food items. Parking may be a challenge depending on the time of day. And the dinning area is small. Dash In has been a downtown Fort Wayne eatery option for many years. They are located on Calhoun Street next to Pint & Slice and a couple blocks south of the court house. This restaurant has retained the vintage building feel. The interior brick and wood work are very attractive to go along with the more modern decor. The bar is very attractive. They have a very small street level outside patio if that is your preference. The shop is very small. I'm guessing the bar seats about 10 people. The main dinning area probably seats about 40. The team here is very friendly and welcoming. They hustle to serve. We went on a late Sunday afternoon and didn't not have to wait. I don't think they take reservations. There are lots of people coming and going with carry out orders. Today we had no problem finding a street parking spot. There is a parking garage nearby if no street spots are available. The menu is actually fairly broad. They have a special brunch menu along with a breakfast all day menu. There were several sandwiches and wraps available. A couple salads too. The coffee and alcoholic drink menus were very large. We didn't have either of these products this time so I can't give you any feedback on them. They have a special soup du jour and deli side selection. Today it was a mushroom arugula soup and caprese salad side. My wife loves breakfast and ordered a make-to-order omelette with a side of grilled vegetables. She really liked the light tasting eggs and fresh tasting vegetables. The tomato bisque soup is one of their staples. It is delicious and would be great with a grilled cheese sandwich from the menu. The soup was smooth and creamy. It had a gentle tomato flavor along with a more predominant milk/cream base. The soup surprisingly has a stronger spicy after taste - still outstandingly delicious! The side salad is very simple. It has a combination of fresh spring mix lettuce along with a minimal amount of onion, cheese and red pepper. The honey mustard dressing was smooth, creamy, thick and a bit spicy. It was mild on the honey/sweet taste while stronger on the mustard accent. The Italian panini sandwich was very good. The ciabatta bread was slightly grilled with a firmer exterior but not crunchy. The bread had a very freshly baked taste. The sandwich had a high quality tasting ham, pepperoni, salami and provolone cheese. The meats weren't piled high...but enough to get the flavor from each. The grilled onions and banana peppers gave the sandwich a nice zing. The pleasant aioli sauce moistened the sandwich and blended the spicy meats with the zippy onions and banana peppers. Overall the food quality was excellent yet a bit more costly than you might expect. The service was spot on and helped make it a pleasant dinning experience. The older building design, if you like that, adds to the overall experience. Give them a try!

Hubby wanted to eat lighter, so ordered the peppers, onions, and sausage appetizers simmered in red sauce. The portion was huge and definitely enough for his main entree. Another of our party ordered spaghetti and meatballs side, which he also enjoyed and was a huge portion. We loved the hot breadsticks. The only down side is that my daughter's entree was late. The server told us that the kitchen had pretty much just spaced it and didn't start making her food with the rest of our order. She did not receive her entrée until all of the rest of us were completely finished eating. Well, we were good natured about it and didn't create a fuss or complain or asked to talk to a manager,, but Salvatori's also didn't take the initiative to offer any additional words of explanation, apology, or even a coupon off our next visit. My daughter's entrée came out so hot, that the ceramic plate was actually steaming. Ordinarily that is not a bad thing if she would receive her order at the same time as everyone else.. She felt so awkward about having to wait until it cools off before she can eat, and knowing that all the rest of us were finished and waiting on her that she just pretty much asked for a box and packed it up to take it home. That was a bit of a bummer.
