Chicken Salad Melt, Lauryn's Lemon Basil on the side with crackers, and a cookie
    Charissa H.

Best fast food joint. Go here, you won't be disappointed. Chicken Salad: Classic Carol - I figured how good could classic be? Very good, actually. Perfectly seasoned and balanced. 5/5 stars. Lauryn's Lemon Basil - I love lemon and basil, and it was great. Again perfectly seasoned and balanced. 5/5 stars. Sassy Scotty - It has ranch, bacon, and cheddar cheese. I figured that would go great in a sandwich, and I was right. Perfect again. 5/5 stars. Chicken Salad Melt - I put the Sassy Scotty in here. I think you do get less of a serving by putting it in a croissant, but hey, it was scrumptious. I'd do it again. 5/5 stars. Broccoli Salad - Very tasty, lightly dressed, but just the right amount. Plenty of bacon, so be careful when mixing. 5/5 stars. Strawberry Lemonade - It's Minute Maid, but that's still good. It goes well with all the food. 5/5 stars. Frosted Cookie - Each meal got an adorable frosted sugar cookie. Very good, not too sweet. I could eat a dozen of these cookies. 5/5 stars. The service was fast. Cashier was nice and helped to explain the menu when we told her it was our first time there. The tables are all decorated in an adorable table cloth. By the way, the trash can is hidden past the drink station around the wall. You should definitely go here. Wonderful place for a lunch date.

This was my first time here and I loved it! I have to admit I have a bias toward chicken salad, egg salad and pimento cheese sandwiches. The Chicken Salad Chick didn't let me down. The facility is large and nicely decorated. The soft picnic style colors pull you in and make you feel welcome. Upon arrival you have to go to the counter and order from the menu board. This can be a little intimidating for a first time dinner. However the menu is simple and everything is delicious! I thought the prices for a specialty chicken salad sandwich was very reasonable as well. My wife have the fruit & nut chicken salad atop a bed of lettuce. She loved the fresh tastes of the lettuce and the chicken salad. The chicken salad had a mild taste of fruit and nuts. I had to hint for the taste a bit more than I thought I would. However the flavors are very complimentary and tasty. I had the chicken salad sandwich. I found the chicken salad to be very smooth and creamy. It was mayo based but the Mayo didn't dominate the taste. The chicken was cut into fine particles so the salad was very smooth and homogenous in texture. I really liked the pasta salad. It had your traditional zesty Italian look and taste. It had some zip due to the dressing which complimented the sandwich well. The Mac & Cheese tasted a bit institutionalized to me. It had a bold cheese taste and was very creamy. However it kind of reminds you of something that you got at a cafeteria. It was good...just not as gourmet as I expected. Five stars for me! I loved the decor, the menu fare and the unique business idea. Give them a try!!

The Chick-Fila of chicken salad... If you haven't been to CSC, you're missing out like Brandon missing the WH press conference teleprompter... CSC is the real deal and arguably the best chicken salad you'll ever have. I've never been a huge chicken salad fan, but CSC has been life-changing lol - Must try!

This is a brand new restaurant in the Fort Wayne area that offers a fresh take on chicken salad. Unlike the tubs of chicken salad you see at the supermarket, they have a variety of different options whether it be sweet or savory. You can get it as a scoop with crackers or on a sandwich. Since it was a soft opening, ordering was slightly complicated at first but the employees were very patience and also accurate with taking the orders. The standard meal comes with a side which you can chose either a soup or other items such as Mac and cheese. If you upgrade to the trio you can get an additional item. I found the fancy Nancy to have plenty of chicken along with grapes, pecan, and Fuji apple. I wish it was a little sweeter but this is probably healthier the way it is. The potato soup came out nice and hot with the right consistency. It was not too salty either. For my side I selected the Mac and cheese. It was very creamy and did not taste like it came from out of the box. Overall this is a great place as a healthy lunch alternative to the many fast food options around town.

We were greeted within a few minutes by Lisa, who was friendly and efficient. She took our drink order-2 waters and a grapefruit margarita, and off she skedaddled. When she came back we placed our order. One blt with fries, a side salad, and a bowl of potato soup. She brought out two dinner rolls with butter and my salad. It was fine. The blt arrived shortly after with the soup. The soup was lukewarm and had chunks of undercooked potato in a processed cheese sauce. I wasn't a fan. My dining companion said her blt and fries were delicious! Lisa was a great server. The place felt a bit run down. Margarita was fine. Everything was just ok. Would I go back? Sure if I have a gift card to spend. It wasn't very busy for a Friday lunch when we left, so I assume many feel as I do. It's ok. It's fine.

The Clyde Room at The Clyde (Bluffton Road) - is it a flatbread, pizza or really flatbread?…read more The menu says it's a flatbread. They have six of them on the menu (see menu). If you come in on Tuesday's you can get anyone one of these selections for just $12. However, the delicious tasting flatbread looks like a pizza and tastes as delicious as a pizza (see pictures)! So...you decide... Grok says there isn't a distinct line between a pizza and a flatbread. Flatbreads tend to be more of a modern marketing thing. Here are the core practical differences: -Flatbread: made of an unleavened yeast; dense, thin, flat; bread baked without toppings, toppings added later; rectangle or oval in shape -Pizza: yeast based dough; lighter, puffier edge, chewier; dough and toppings baked at the same time as the bread thus depressing the center; typically round in shape Regardless of whether The Clyde's offering is really a flatbread or a pizza...it was delicious! The Godfather choice is very salty. That comes from the mix of meats, banana peppers and green olives. The marinara sauce is a little spicy but not applied thick enough to bring that taste forward. The crust is a bit thicker than on the thin side...and more crispy. The garlic aioli sauce adds another moist flavor to tone down the salty taste - a little. The chicken bacon ranch flatbread tasted more like a traditional pizza offering. The crust was a little thicker than just a thin crust. It had a bit of crisp. The chicken was nicely grilled, tender and flavorful. The bacon, red pepper and ranch sauces blend nicely such that none of the individual flavors pop out at you. Outside the flat bread versus pizza issue...our service was very good. We had a trainee and trainer. They worked well to serve us well! The facility is large and can accommodate large groups well. It is decorated nicely and well arranged to enjoy a stage show.

As a seafood lover, I was sold just based on the name alone The building itself is pretty cool. We were told it dates back to the 1880s and is the 2nd oldest building in Indiana behind some other one in Indianapolis. You can definitely feel the history when you walk in. The place is small, with only about 14 tables, and everything is packed in pretty tight, but that's part of what gives it character. The old bar immediately grabbed my attention and looked like it hadn't changed much in over a century We started with the Parmesan baked oysters, which were outstanding and surprisingly fresh for being in the Midwest The homemade clam chowder was loaded with clams and flavor. It was so good it didn't need anything added to it. We also ordered a couple of smoked Old Fashioneds that were a great way to start the night I wanted sea bass, but they were out, so I went with the walleye fish and chips. It's honestly hard for me to pass up fish and chips when they're on a menu, I'm glad I did. The fish was well-seasoned and on point My wife went with a seafood combo that included seafood au gratin, bay scallops, shrimp, crab, applewood bacon risotto, and baked in a lobster creamy sauce Being in Fort Wayne for just one night, this ended up being a great find. The food was excellent, the service was friendly (Shoutout Lindsay) and the whole place had a nostalgic feel that made the experience even better If you're passing through and in the mood for seafood or live locally, I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
