Steak dinner was very good. Sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The rustic ambiance was nice to see

Short weekend trip to Fort Wayne,IN and decided to try something new. Very welcoming interior and definitely unique. Service was good and the staff were friendly. Food was good but I did have to send my steak back. I ordered medium well and it was rare. Once it came back it was medium well. By that point I was ready to go.

Food was all around fantastic. Really enjoyed my Gumbo and the Urban Cowboy was also really great. Burgers are also top notch I recommend any of them!

While working in the downtown area of Fort Wayne I came across this place and decided to give it a try. The building this business is located in has two restaurants in it. A Japanese restaurant on the second floor while this businesses is located on the bottom floor. I was greeted by a nice older lady and a young lady upon my entering this business. At first I was going to place an order to go but I decided to stay and just eat there instead. After taking a look at the menu I decided to order the Burrito Americano Sliced chicken, lettuce, roasted corn and black beans, pico, feta, avocado, spicy mayo $12. This is a cold Burrito and it was pretty good. I'd order it again if ever in the area.

Such a neat place! Love the decor...a little old rustic style was so cute. The 'window seat' looks like a must if you're a party of two. Our waitress was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable and helpful during our visit. Our order was taken quickly and food and drinks came out promptly. We didn't have to do a lot of waiting but we didn't feel rushed. The food was really good! We all got a steak of some kind for dinner. I went with the coffee crusted sirloin and Mac and cheese. It was delicious. Prices are a little high but well worth it. Definitely a recommended stop if you're going through Fort Wayne.

Soupy mac and cheese. Under cooked asparagus.

Parking was difficult but only due to the construction. Good note bread was great, and butter was good. Medium rare steak came out blue. The steak was also on a cajun mix that didn't go with the steak. They took it back to finish cooking it and burnt the seasoning. The sweet potato souffle has walnut thru out it, so beware. Mac and cheese were soupy. Asparagus couldn't cut stalks. Only could only eat the tops. Can't say I will ever be back here. Service was good she did her best to help. The place feels like a steak house somewhat but missing things. Lighting was pretty cool. They did remove the steak from the bill.

We popped in for a quick lunch after a meeting downtown. The breadsticks are a nice touch, buttery and warm. I had the chicken Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing. Crisp mixed greens with bacon, egg and a moist and juicy fried chicken breast. The flavors in the breading were great. The restaurant is in great shape and well maintained. It's been around for a long time. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly with great recommendations. Always a great meal.

We chose this restaurant for its extensive menu for our friends who treated us to a concert at a local venue. We made rather early reservations and when we got there, we were promptly seated. The restaurant is older, rustic and was beautiful on the interior. You could tell, that the establishment was used to having large numbers of patrons. We were then greeted by our waitress who promptly took our drink orders. We had Old Fashioned's and skipped appetizers as we were pretty hungry and knew we were all hankering for beef! My husband had the coffee rubbed ribeye and the rest of us had prime rib. The old fashioned's were good--very drinkable, not the best we have had but decent, nonetheless. Our dinners arrived shortly thereafter and each was cooked to order. My friends ordered the gumbo and after a couple of bites, apologized and sent it back because it was tasteless. My prime rib was tender and tasty. Nothing to write home about, but lightly seasoned and cooked the way I liked it. I was curious as to my husband's steak, which had the coffee rub on it. We make this at home using Bobby Flay's recipe and love it! So we were curious as to how theirs would be. My husband said that it was "good " but not like the BF recipe that we use. The only disappointment was the creamed spinach that my husband had. It was barely creamy and was tasteless. For all of us, it was a satisfying meal--just was hoping to be wowed. So 3 stars it is! If there were no other places to go, we would return.

Mixed reviews in our dinner party of 5. NY steak and Jambalaya Risotto were hits!!! The misses were the Gumbo! Omg based on that alone I would not come back. Terrible!!! Shouldve never been served! But the waitress warned me before hand that many dont like it. I was not thinking and ignored here not so subtle hint. Non edible. Resembled mush and a nasty dull brown color. No shrimp, no chicken. 2-3 slices of sausage and 3-4 day old rice. Could smell the roux before tasting. It smelled burnt. Well it tastes worse than it smelled. Crab cakes were mediocre at best. Mushy and lacked crab chunks. The Chicken wings were poorly cooked. My Gulf Shrimp blackened were so so. The Brussels however were delicious. The German Chocolate cake was dry/old and the frosting was not bad. Others has Yellowfin Tuna cooked med-rare blackened. Said lacked taste and wouldnt order again. I personally wouldnt come back, but if I were, I would get steak! Service was good. Drinks are very good!

Sorry ate two pieces of shrimp already

My jambalaya risotto was fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere and very nice people. You definitely won't be disappointed.

My three filet sliders all had gristle in them. Since when did filets have gristle? Don't order the filet sliders at the Gas House.

She made great recommendations and helped us decide based on our time constraints. She was attentive and gave us a lot of information about the food, live music, DJ and art for sale on all the walls. We weren't super hungry, so we tried the flatbread - sooo good. I will be back because the whole menu, including the drinks, sound wonderful. They offered zero spirit, GL and other substitutions if needed which is nice. The atmosphere has a moody, darker hang out vibe to it. I loved it and can't wait to bring some friends and family back! She recommended reservations on the weekends, especially on "First Fridays" as that's when they do events and an art crawl on Broadway when the weather is nice. We parked on the street in front of the building so I'm not sure if there is a parking lot. They do have outdoor seating as well in the front of the building. I remember when this location was a food co-op waaaaaaay back in the day. They did a great job transforming it into a relaxing bar and restaurant. We will go back and I highly recommend you check it out!

But then you're presented with this shiny chandelier, illuminating this wide chamber, and hovering over a smooth, curved bar. The sides of this huge dining space are lined with dining tables, and walls lined with artwork, making the name quite appropriate. Subtle haloes of light dot the ceiling, and the color palette of the place (besides that big ol' chandelier) is dark, cool, and easy on the eyes. I took a seat at the main bar and was served within minutes. I enjoyed some light pop, rap, and classic rock tunes bumping in the background while I sipped on a delightful Smoked Apple Reserve. Every sip was a punch of sweetness, followed by an air of smokiness, and just a splash of herby aftertaste. It was however, not the kind of drink you could chug, so I sipped slowly throughout my meal. I'll have to come back for the appetizers, as I hear they're the star of the show, but neither the flatbreads nor the traditional bar-fare excited me. Thanks to Yelp though, I learned of the Blueberry and Brie Grilled Cheese, which I'd initially dismissed due to my dislike of Brie - the cheese and her portrayal of Captain Marvel, let's be honest. But I gave it a chance and ~woah~ it was something else. First of all, it's a perfectly cooked grilled cheese, with a flaky, crunchy exterior and addictingly cheesy inside, however I was ~taken aback~ by the flavor. I think I honestly had a Ratatouille moment, where that flavor of berry compote transported me to my childhood, chowing down on blueberry pancakes on Friday morning before school. At the same time, it doesn't dominate the flavor profile - it adds a subtle and satisfying sweetness to the creamy richness of the melted Brie, and it does it oh so well. The plentiful pieces of proscuitto provided some palatable protein, while also being a contrast in flavor and feel to the Berry and Brie. The fries were a little heavy on the straight potato flavor and not so much on seasoning and salt, but some garlic aioli did the trick there. The service was superb and the atmosphere was nothing like I've experienced in this city. I didn't expect to love this place as much as I did, but I can't wait to come back to try more apps, drinks, and return to that beautiful blueberry and brie...

The sweet potato fries had a bold sweet potato taste but were disappointingly limp - first time they have been this way. The flat fries were uniquely thin and crispy. The cheese sauce was a unique blend of different cheeses that didn't taste like cheese. More of a smooth, mild and somewhat plain sauce. The ketchup had a nice bold tomato taste. The ranch dip was fairly unique with very faint ranch and oil taste. My wife loved the Southwest bowl. Very fresh and with lots of healthy add ins. The marinaded chicken was very moist and seasoned nicely. The guacamole was very tasty. The short rib beef stroganoff had an outstanding beef taste. The meat was moist and tender - easily pulled apart. The sauce was very light so that it let the natural beef juices dominate the taste. No heavy sour creme taste here.
