It is packed with all the essential supplies for the runners from shoes, clothing, suppliers and gears and more. I have been to this location several times and the workers are very attentive every time I walk into this store. Finally bought the necessary running gear that is not sold anywhere else. Walk in and you will be greeted immediately. Clothing are to the left, accessories at the front and middle and shoes to the back right and some more gears. To the left side has the clearance items and if you happen to have that odd sized foot, you might be in for a treat. This location carries all the cool and newest running gears that you need. I will be back to get the "On" shoes I have been eyeing on. Maybe the new Nike that is hard to find else where. While I had good luck with the staff and selection at the Colorado Boulevard Runner's Roost location many years ago, I now live closer to this Foxfield location, so I went there. All of the shoes they sell are good quality, and they certainly sell them at a large markup. I think that's OK if you have a knowledgeable salesperson. I did not. It made for a bad outcome, and now I'm stuck with $150 shoes that don't fit. I don't want to call him out by name, but my salesman didn't know what he was doing. At times, I don't think he could hear or understand me. He just sorta' talked. Honestly, I should have walked out when he measured my 9/9.5 foot as an 11. In retrospect, it was obvious that this wasn't going to end well. He brought out tons of 11's, and then at my request, 10.5 and 10's. I really needed a 9.5. After trying a bunch, I found one pair of 10's that was pretty good and bought it. When he checked the fit, he told me that they were too small and that, "I wouldn't want to run a marathon in them." I wore them around the house for a couple of days to try to make sure they fit, but that's not much of a test. I bought the shoes quickly so that when I walked around Disney World this week, my feet would feel better. The shoes helped with my plantar fasciitis, but they're too big for me, and they give me blisters. Understandably, they don't let you return shoes that are not in new condition, so I'm stuck with them. Some of this is my fault for not walking out of the store immediately, and I did buy the shoes. That said, I'm extremely disappointed with the outcome. To have such a clueless salesperson at an expensive shoe store is ridiculous. Again, their products are available cheaper elsewhere, so the only value the store can provide is quality customer service. Please save your money and go have a better experience somewhere else.

Both my A2000 and Mizuno first baseman's mitt needed some good TLC, on top of a broken web on the Mizuno and new internal thumb lace on the A2000. Ted, the owner, clearly knows what he's doing! I'm blown away at the quality of the cleaning and conditioning, and the craftsmanship of the lace-work. Truly second-to-none! Both gloves feel amazing and I can't wait to get out on the diamond in the coming months. Ted makes it very convenient with numerous drop-off and pick-up locations around the Denver metro area, and has a reasonable turnaround time. I highly recommend Ted and Kelmar for any glove repairs or just some TLC and will refer my teammates on over for their needs.

And that's what Colo G&T gets . . . some huge appreciation and the highest rating possible. So what did they do to deserve this kind of recognition? Here's the story: We've got a place that requires a bunch of work on the land--like maintaining ditches, moving slash, hauling stuff here and there on pathways too narrow for a pick-up. And to do that we've got an old gas-powered golf cart that's seen it's better days. Was driving it last weekend and got a flat. Not so unusual a thing but what made it a problem is that the tire couldn't be patched and wouldn't hold any pressure. So I had to get it replaced. And since there weren't any such tires in the small town we're near I knew just who to call (since they'd replaced the solenoid in this cart just a couple of months ago). Colo G&T. They're down in south Denver / Centennial and my honey happened to be in Denver at the time and was coming up to our place the following day. I asked her to stop off and pick up a new tire and while she was at it also to get a spare rim and an extra tire in case that same problem I'd experienced happened again. So she went down to Colo G&T to pick up all this stuff. Her description of how Rudy the parts mgr took care of her and treated her so nicely was just great to hear. Its wonderful when people in business are nice to you. I certainly appreciate it. But when they're caring and helpful to those I love then my joy knows no end. What a great person they've got running their service / parts area (Rudy). And what a wonderful image he's creating for this business. Bottom line: You totally rock Colorado Golf and Turf.
