It's been ages since the last time I stepped into a Kohls. I had a few items in mind and thanks to the weekend sale, found what i was looking for at a very decent price (and not overly old fashioned). I was also surprised that even on a busy weekend, there was plenty of staff at the registers and on the floor. It's time for the holiday season so as I was placing returns i decided to check out the clothing section. Surprisingly stores do not have a lot men's attire other than ugly sweaters and onesies. I just happened to see these items as I was told by an employee that they do not carry such items. Glad I always look even after I ask. read more

This Kohl's has remodeled their check-out to function more like TJ Maxx, Home Depot, and Marshall's. All registers, including customer service, are now at the front of the store with one big line snaking around shelves with multiple items that are known for impulse buys. I went in for a few self-pick-up orders so I wasn't tempted by any of the displays. Self pick-up is now next to the registers so it is closer to the main entrance. It wasn't busy at the time I went. This Kohl's is known for long lines so I am curious to see if this new set-up will be more efficient. read more

Came in to return some Amazon purchases and it was an easy process. Then wandered around looking at the new items for spring. They already have some fall products too and it makes me cringe as it means winter is coming. I love fall but it's a little early to see these thicker fabrics. I ordered an item off Kohls.com that never arrived. I order in June. I have been fighting to get my money back. $415.73. I keep getting the run around. I've been promised my money back several times. Then it never arrives. I have spent hours dealing with this nightmare.i have been promised phone calls back. Not one call. When I call I am on hold or a call for over an hour. They flat out lie on the process. I will never shop Kohls again My daughter wanted to apply for a job and I told her no! It's Kohl's. You love it or you hate it. It is my go to place for a variety of home stuff, some clothes and season decorations. I love their sales and their coupons! This one is generally well stocked, they have a good amount of lanes open to get you out quickly and its well kept! All a plus! read more

During the holidays at 6 am opening there is basically no one in the store. I was pleasantly surprised by this the day I went in. I had gotten up early because my body likes to do that on a Saturday so I hit the local S place for some tea and got myself psyched up to fight the early morning crowd 10 days after black Friday. I pulled down over the hill and was shocked, there was like 5 cars in the parking lot. Once inside it was like they opened the store just for me. I was able to find all the things I needed and got the soy candles I absolutely love dirt cheap on this particular day. I like Kohl's and I do go sporadically for things that I don't order online. I have found some great sales on things for my house as well as some gifts for others. I will continue to visit this location because it's super close to my house. The associates are usually pretty friendly and helpful. Hours are decent on a regular day and holidays alike. I will just have to remember the ugly early visits during the holidays. It's great to feel like they opened the doors just for you. read more

Very uncomfortable to shop here! Not sure if they have a lot of shoplifters here but damn. I was followed by 'undercover employees' the whole time I was in there. Made for a very awkward experience. I was a fan of Kohl's but after this fiasco concerning late fees, I've drastically changed my mind. I made a purchase in May 2023 and was a day late making the payoff in June. Instead of notifying me (either by mail, email or phone), that there was a late fee charge of $15.00, they didn't bother. In the meantime, these fees mushroomed to $67.00. They finally found time to notify me (4 months later/in October) and accused me of not making any payments since whenever. We were curious about owing anything since we haven't gone shopping in a while to their stores. Anyway, we called and were informed that the payments they were talking about were all late fees (after we requested several times on how could we possibly owe anything if we hadn't made any purchases). Their representative then asked if we wanted to provide our bank account info so they could personally withdraw the funds. Huh? I'm supposed to trust a company into our bank account who didn't bother to notify me (until 4 months later) that we owed late fees? That won't happen. The late fees were paid by check in their store. This seems to be a scam if I've ever seen one. read more

What can I say? I really do love my Kohl's. We got off to a bad start a couple of years ago when one of the cashiers refused to cash in one of my coupons. But time and time again the level of friendly service and number of "not a problem, Ma'am's" I've encountered make me feel like an elite here. Every once in a while the quality of Kohl's merchandise suffers a bit. But again, their return policy is so generous that I feel like I can't lose shopping here. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I'm being suckered in by their Kohl's cash promotions. Doesn't everyone know this? But I wouldn't buy if I didn't need or want it. Really friendly people work here and that makes shopping extra nice, especially these days. So I'll keep coming back. read more

Wow my girlfriend fell for the kohls dupe. "Honey I got the best deal on this watch"!!!! Lol ,,"it was 35% off"!!!! $29.00 for the watch. Same exact watch at Wal-Mart for $15.67 Now I'm not a rocket scientist or anything but she got screwed royally. But what gets me is they have it on sale for 35% off with it still ringing up for $29.00. People your being robbed of your hard earned money at kohls . This has been my neighborhood Kohl's for about 10 years. But it's gotten worse with time especially recently it seems like more kids are working there and it's more of a "click" than an actual professional environment. After reading horrible reviews about the Kohl's on Mississippi and Ironton, we decided to go to this Kohl's on Hamden Avenue instead and boy, were we happy we did! The store is clean, organized and we found a pretty good selection on almost everything! As soon as we entered, the staff were very helpful. One of the employees helped us find a cart with a baby seat after going through multiple areas looking for one and then another woman employee helped us multiple times while shopping throughout the store. We were very pleased with the service! We originally went in to use our 20% coupon, plus the deal-of-the day sale to get new sneakers for myself and hubby too. While we were looking for my shoes, we found them on sale for $19.99, but the scanner kept coming up $45. An employee named Mike worked in the shoe department and started saying that there is no way these shoes (originally $72) should be $19.99 and the discount would be too much. As I stood there with the Kohl's price tag in my hand that said $19.99, the woman that helped us multiple times throughout the store came to the rescue. She let Mike know that they would be honoring this deal no matter what, since it was there mistake. So yes, we did get the shoes for $19.99, yea! Our biggest find was queen bedding (sheet, fitted sheet and 2 pillow cases) for $19.99! I don't care where you go, but most bedding for queen beds is at least $70 (on the low end). We found a few more shirts too, but the bedding was our best buy of the day! Like another reviewer said, either you love Kohl's or you hate them. . . we love them! My Mom used to try to take me here and I balked at the quality or the types of clothes, but we have started warming up to them over the years (maybe it's because we have kids and no money now??). Usually we like to go to Marshalls or Burlington Coat Factory, since you can find amazing deals there; however, for more and more of our shopping, we are starting to prefer Kohl's. If you use their coupons and follow the ad's, it almost feels like they pay YOU to shop at their store!! We bought two pairs of sneakers, queen bedding and six shirts for $140! We used all the coupons and cash back we could to get that deal, but I think we did pretty well! read more

I don't know whether to put this as an app fail or a store one, but it is extremely disappointing regardless. I received an email notification that I had reward points set to expire at the end of the month so I immediately used the app to purchase a couple of items and had them shipped to my local store. They came in separately, with the first al one today, only to find out my points weren't used and because I'm in one day passed the end of the month, they have expired and can't be corrected. Even though the order was in time and I had a now to be discontinued habit of shopping at least once a month to fully utilize my membership benefits. I've never made this error before but ultimately, this business couldn't care less... nothing personal, that's just policy. read more

Kohls is a must go when there are sales. I went here looking for a necklace chain. Well all silver chains were 60% off Yes!!! Plus I got a coupon in the mail for $10.00 off. In the end I got a $55.00 chain for $11.00. If the items are not on sale then it is not worth it. A just go but only when they are having their sales. The ladies here are very nice. I like Kohls but only when I have a coupon. Hardly ever buy clothes here, but I do like the fact that they are getting more designers like Vera Wang and Conrad. So when I get my next coupon I can go and get a Wang dress for up to 70% off. YES!. read more

My family is coo coo for Kohl's and I honestly thought it was crazy overpriced at the first experiences of shopping at this location. We've been here a few times and I enjoyed it after discovering some really cute clothes. They have awesome alternative punk-indie themed shirts with Marvel Comic Characters on the front and also Cartoon Network and Graphic Tees. Kohl's sells just about everything to shoes, (both men and women) jewelry, toys for infants and children and seriously it doesn't end here. The people are really polite and you get brochures, discounts, deals and coupons. If you think the store is pretty expensive like I once thought it was, that's why the coupons and deals are accessible and the sales associates will be happy to assist you. My favorite things that they sell is the selection of kids backpacks, jeans, and bras. I love picking out different colors and sizes. read more

I remember when Kohls first came to our area, it was nice to have a department store that didn't look like any other. Selection and sales were great! My thoughts have changed in last couple years. After shopping at Kohls again today I felt the need to express my disappointment. The store on Hampden is a disaster. The shoe department is a mess as well as handbags. Items on the floor, bags heaped in a pile, dressing rooms overloaded with "tried on" garments that aren't back on hangers. I realize customers are to blame for being careless slobs but that is one reason the store has employees. Oh wait....only at the registers. You never see anyone on the floor. Not for help, not for keeping a little order. The great sales are likely part of the past since our economy hasn't snapped back. Probably the reason the store can't hire enough employees to manage the place. Ugh. Kohls is not the draw it used to be. read more

I'm really disappointed with the customer service at this store. I went in to spend my kohl's cash, founds a nice sweater on clearance went to check out and realized I had dropped my kohl's cash, the cashier was very nice and asked if I would like to go look for it, so I did. I went into the dressing room where I saw an older gentlemen pick it up and exit the dressing room, I politely asked him if he has picked up a kohl's cash with $10 on it, of course he denied it because well who wouldn't want $10 bucks off their purchase? I went to the Customer Service to ask if their was anything they could do, I had my previous receipt with proof of the reward I had received but they were less then helpful and only offered to return all my previous purchases and rebuy them at the current (non sale price) to receive a cash for the next time, the item I was wanting to purchase was on clearance it won't be there the next time. It's really disappointing for these older customer service representatives be rude to be for a great factor probably because I am a young guy and to them probably just lying to get something for free. read more

I love getting those $5-$10 kohls certificates in the mail! Anytime I get them I always take advantage of using them at this particular location. Although the store is clean and the staff are very friendly, I rated this location 3 stars for poor accessibility. The aisles can become very narrow and disorganization in the purse section can lead to confusion. My biggest complaint is that there is just no room to navigate a wheelchair and the checkout counters are a bit tall for those with limited mobility. read more

Somehow at Kohl's I always manage to find the strangest t shirts for about $5 a piece. You cant beat that except at the thrift store.

Sad experience today at Kohls. I was thrilled to get a 30% off in my mailer, and it is good from December 10th till the 24th! So I tear out my coupon, put it in my pocket and head to the store. I spend two hours shopping, fill my cart with stuff, and head to the register to checkout. My coupon has fallen out! Somewhere in the store, because it was there on the way in. The cashier calls over her manager to see if they can honor the coupon. Manager says no. She will only give me 20 percent. I'm nearly in tears at this point... I can't really afford to shop right now anyways, so I let them know that I won't be making any purchase because I was only shopping because of that 30% off. The manager decides she still wants my business, so she will agree to give me the proper discount, but she will make a note on my account so that I am never able to ask for a discount again without a physical coupon. She says "we can't let just anyone do this to us." Way to make me feel like a CRIMINAL. After many, MANY years of being a loyal customer, this may be the last time you take my hard earned money, Kohls. read more

Brayson Koontz - can't explain the math with a return while using a Kohls cash......I guess that's why he's at Kohls ....I think the "Kohls cash" is a rip off. I spent MORE than the Kohls cash - and they discount your refund and keep more of MY money and try to stand behind their vague adjustment on the back of the Kohls cash. Brayson claims to have a masters in accounting .....but can't explain the refund process with me regarding Kohls cash. It's a rip off - I should be able to get the full amount refunded because I spent MORE of my own money there. I won't be back! To any Kohls! read more
