This was a great find. Hidden in the corner and so happy the wife told me about it. Small inside, with FREE ICE CREAM.Sundays are FREE for kids. Kids meals are $4.00. They are wayyyyy too accurate measuring the meat. It was like a 5 step process to make sure you don't get any extra. I understand you have to control portions and don't want to give away food, but seriously it is just a little too precise. Chop up some BBQ for me and put it on a plate. Ronda was wonderful, and worked to make sure my visit was a good experience. I had the 3 meat (brisket, pork, and spicy cheddar sausage) and it was a lot more food than I needed. The Jalapeño beans were amazing, and worth the trip by themselves. I'm extremely pleased. read more

Good barbecue with sweet sauces. All the sauces are sweet based even the hot. No vinegar sauces. Coleslaw is crispy with not too much sauce. Jalapeño beans are very flavorful but not hot. Great iced teas. read more

Stopped by ere based on review from yelp and we were sadly disappointed! Baked beans and potato salad NO flavor! Order pulled pork sandwich which was not warm at all and served on a cold bun! This to me was not at all true BBQ and I must say never again would I stop here! This place is amazing! The moment you open the door and the smoke fills your lungs you know that you're in for a good treat. We ordered a full rack of ribs and 2 meat plate with pulled pork and brisket. The brisket melts in your mouth and the pulled pork was nice. But the rack of ribs, just wow. They were AMAZING. I just wanted them all in my mouth. You take a bite and the meat just falls clean off the bone. If it wasn't for my job, I would quit my job and leave New York City to move next door so that I could come here and eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Please be aware that Dickey's might ruin your social life as you'd need to devote yourself completely to the power of their amazing ribs. read more

I deal with Dickey's from a personal ( I love BBQ) and a professional ( catering) standpoint and they please on both levels. Not only do they have exceptional customer service, they also are very flexible and helpful when it comes to corporate catering. They have great quality food for a great price, and not to mention the free ice cream come that comes along with it ! Best BBQ I have had since moving south. They manager works along side of his daughter and wife which is always a great thing to see. Every worker is wonderful which adds to experience of the AMAZING pulled pork and mac & cheese :) I would suggest to a friend or family member. GO DICKEY'S! read more

Good BBQ. Crowded location. Had the ribs. Meat fell off the bone and the sweet sauce was the bomb! Baked beans did not taste "homemade". They had a "from the can" flavor. Mac n' Cheese was great!!!! Because of the crowd I had people standing over me in line, waiting to order, while I ate my meal. Not the best situation. Get your meal "to go" and enjoy back at your house or office. Avoid peak meal times. The line can get long but the service was friendly and pretty fast. read more

Its a chain, but they do a pretty good job. I've been to a few different Dickeys around the country and they are pretty consistent.

We stopped here on our way north from Florida again this year, and Dickey's did not disappoint. The opening pangs I saw last year are gone and the servers are cheerful and knowledgeable. The chopped brisket was moist and tasty as was the pulled pork. The side dishes were tasty. This is a good BBQ joint. Not the best, but very good. If your route will take you past exit 102 on I-95 in Georgia, stop for a good BBQ experience. read more

Came here based on reviews and glad we did. Small, only seats about 30 and you order at the cash register. Do.. It is fast in and out. Got pulled pork basket with two sides, drink and bread for $7.99. It was worth a lot more. Meat was very tender and not fatty. Beans rated as about the best I've had. Slaw was perfect. Place was clean and neat and staff was very friendly. Will put it on our place to stop list when in this area. read more

While traveling we were glad we drove a bit out of the way to get to this local BBQ cafe. It's a fairly small & very casual place and the staff here are friendly and take the time to make sure you get what you're paying for. Big baked potatoes loaded up with your choice of a variety of toppings are quite popular here, as are the daily specials and pretty much everything else. Barbecued pork right out of the smoker as well as beef brisket and chicken are all expertly prepared. The waffle fries and coleslaw are both very good. The only side dish we didn't care for were the fried onion strings, which were extremely greasy and salty. Everything else we had we would definitely order again and we'd love to try all of the other sides. Well worth the sometimes long lines during the lunchtime rush, this is southern barbecue at its best. read more

We stopped here on a road trip due to the convenience and high reviews. We weren't disappointed! It's located less than a mile off 95. It's an 'order at the counter' style restaurant, so it's quick. The entire staff had exceptional customer service and was very friendly. The menu is quite extensive, considering it's not a waiter-service restaurant. There are so many enticing options! The brisket was tender and delicious. The cheddar smoked sausage was a little dry. The pulled pork was good and so was the sweet BBQ sauce. The fried okra was ok, not as great as another reviewer raved about. The baked potato casserole was the best side we had. The green beans were kinda bland. Kids eat free on Sunday's. All in all, it was great! Tasty food, quick, friendly service, and convenient location! We'll definitely stop again on our next road trip. read more

Since I was down south, I had a natural hankering for barbecue. Located in the strip mall is this good barbecue place, with a bit of a Subway atmosphere. Dickey's has a decent selection of barbecued meats, such as pulled pork and beef brisket, along with your choice of BBQ sauce. Service was fast as I ordered little hoagie sized sandwiches of the pulled pork and the brisket (I wanted to try them both). The food was tasty, but since I had small portions, not quite as filling as I'd prefer. read more

Incredible! Best brisket I have ever had, and I've had it all over the south! So tender, so moist, and the sauce brought it way over the top. The smell was heavenly. Everyone was extremely nice and patient as well drooled over the menu. The kids menu portions were generous. The BBQ sandwich was large, very tender, and very tasty. All the sauces were wonderfully seasoned. My husband ordered the ribs plate and said they were good but slightly dry. The manager was very welcoming and very responsive to our feedback. Wow! I wanted some BBQ on our drive from FL to NJ and Dickies is right off 95 so it was an easy choice. That said, we were all very pleased with the quality and price of the meal. We got the family meal with chicken, pulled pork and added on a pound of the brisket. Had the brisket chopped and it may have been the best I have ever had! Pulled pork was very good as well and the kids ate up most of the chicken. The rolls with fresh butter were amazing, and the bbq beans and cole slaw were very, very good as well. Could not have been happier with the choice we made for this meal, staff was friendly and accommodating and free ice cream at the end to top it off! I frequent this restaurant alot but I refuse to eat there because of the smoke smell. Last time I was there the lady working the cash register was not very friendly. I was waiting for my to go order and it was placed at the register, I was standing over to the side and she literally would not bring me the order. I had to go over and ask if this was my order. She finally handed it to me and said not one word. This is not the way you should treat customers. I won't be going back because there are other BBQ restaurants closer to my house. read more

Did take out here a few nights back in December 2012 while on a road trip. Not bad. Has a sort of fast-food approach to things, much like they do in a Subway. This is not high-end barbecue, but as good as you find in most similar small places, and much better than going to a fast food joint. We had pulled pork, brisket and four different sides. I would say that the potatoes were the weakest of the sides. Fast service, though, and you can help yourself to additional sauce and in-house pickles if you wish. I would go here again if I happen to be passing through. read more

Leaving Savannah, we realized we had failed to get some barbecue on our trip but didn't really want to U-turn back into downtown. Yelp soon told us that there was a place called Dickey's on the way back up... but really, I thought, how good could a chain restaurant be? I stand corrected: VERY. VERY GOOD. As we'd had a late breakfast and were really just eating again so that we could say we'd had some barbecue, Boyfriend and I split the "two meat" plate. We opted for chopped beef brisket, ribs, barbecue beans, and potato salad. The meats were fantastic - some of the best that I've ever had - and I seriously debated buying a pound to take home, but figured that it wouldn't last the drive. The potato salad is a little too mayonnaise-y for our taste and we ended up leaving most of it. The beans and rolls and all that though - amazing, amazing - makes my mouth water just to remember it. There were three people working there, the girl in charge of the meats, the guy in charge of the sides, and the woman running the register (I believe this was the Miss Rhonda referenced in another review). All three were extremely friendly and showed no sign of impatience when we couldn't decide what we wanted (everything looked that good). I watched countless other customers come in and waffle over which meats they wanted and never once did anybody try to hurry them along. I don't know when and if we'll be back to Savannah... but this is definitely a place worth stopping by! read more

Dickey's is one of my favorite bbq places. This location is one of the most disgusting restaurants I have ever been in. First it took a long time for someone to come out of the back to wait on us. I didn't even want to sit in the chair that had not been cleaned in who knows how long. Don't even get me started on the bathroom. The food was decent, typical Dickey's. The restaurant was so dirty I would never go back. Someone from Dickey's Corporate needs to pay this location a visit. Would not recommend!! read more
