Decent chain BBQ restaurant. Dropped into Dickies while in Savannah for work - Average to good BBQ... A bit salty for my liking, but the sauces were all good, and the sides were solid. The service was meh and the restaurant had your typical "bbq joint feel" (it was filthy in there though... the floors were an ice rink with grease). Not too shabby, but I'll probably find local bbq the next time. read more

We stopped here while on a trip. We were first not impressed with an employee sitting by the front door smoking. We gave it a try. I had the pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese. Hubby had the pork plate with fries and okra. The pork was really dry and lacked flavor. It was also tough. The Mac n cheese had little flavor. The fried okra was ok. The fries were supposed to be fresh cut, but she got them from the freezer and put them in the fryer. . Same with the okra. At least the fryer will kill the germs. The drink machine was broken to top it off. The staff displayed little personality. As we left they were right behind us lighting up cigarettes and sitting by the front door. Way too much to spend for horrible food and service. read more

Great stop not far off of 95. Unassuming. On the end of a strip center. Our choices: Burnt brisket ends and chopped brisket plates. Green beans and baked potato casserole. Traditional red vs yellow cup for 80th year. Soft serve ice cream for free for the road. No wait. Helpful staff. $40 for two for 'linner' Place is a bit run down- ceiling tiles need replacing, mold in light fixtures, but otherwise clean. Several sauces. Original our favorite. Tried Dr. Pepper but not what we were looking for. Dr. pepper fans- soda machine has it!! Rare find this part of the country. Good 'ol Texas establishment. read more

The turkey, chicken, and brisket are my favorite smoked meats from Dickeys. I was first introduced to Dickey's at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport (DFW). It was soooo good to me that I ordered a plate to take on the plane to my destination and ordered another when I flew back in to take home. So every time I see one, I am going to stop because we don't have this chain in North Carolina! The Mac n cheese, green beans, original bbq sauce are banging! I'll be back soon! read more

Serious BBQ. Nice atmosphere. Great lemonade. Convenient. Neighborhood friendly. Plenty of parking. Service with a smile from staff.

A month or so ago the meals were great. I love okra but last time it had only 1/2 serving of okra which was large pieces and tough. Could not eat. My last order was 2 brisket sandwiches and 2 fries. They only now give you 1/2 serving of fries about 10 fries and the barbecue sauce was watered down. Cost $28 without drinks is a little too much. I love their meals but we need to get what we pay for. read more

One of the worst brisket sandwiches I have ever eaten. All fat-virtually no meat. Restaurant a bit on the dirty side. Went to Dickies a lot in Texas and other states. Big disappointment. read more

Not sure if I am the only one that thinks the brisket by the pound is rather high priced? Just wondering what you think? 30$ a pound is the price I saw. Back in Bluffton where everything is high priced the cost is average 18$ Dollars a pound. Am I missing something, or is this brisket that good? I did have a burnt ends sandwich. Great bun, only decent burnt ends, good sauce, but they forgot to put the cheese on it like it was ordered. Not sure how to rate this place, did not work out that good for me. Picked up my brisket an hour later. read more

Very tasty loaded giant baked potato. All the toppings including crispy onions. Lots of food with leftovers. Sweet tea just the right amount of sugar. Original Dickey's bbq sauce very yummy. Brisket sandwich and Mac & cheese tasty as well read more

Although the food was OK, the service was bad and the young men working were more interested in talking and joking with each other than serving the customers. I was even pretty po'd that I asked for two cups of ice and the register worker gave me cups of ice and charged me $3.50 without mentioning there was a charge. That's just lousy service and I realized it after I left and looked at the receipt. If that's a policy, tell the customer! We won't be ever be back and we would not recommend this location to any traveler! Not recommended!!! And...this location clearly needs to replace some staff!!! #dickey'sbbq #dickey'sbarbeque @dickey'sbbq @dickey'sbarbeque read more

I like this place. Despite a strip mall location, the food was better than I expected. I had the sausage and Mister had the shredded pork. Both were delicious. The sides were really good too (just know they're a la carte). The sauces were good, not special, but good. The only thing is that a few flies made it inside and fanning them was a pain. I spent a good bit of time fighting to keep them from getting near my food. read more

Such a bummer. Ordered through Uber Eats. This is the second time I did not get my sides/condiments. It is a bbq shop and I ordered extra bbq and received none. Ugh. SMH. HOW DO YOU GET THAT WRONG???! A bbq with no sauce. read more

GREAT Bbq and kids eat free on Sundays! Was amazing today! We were just driving through town and got lucky to find this place.

I worked there for a cpl of days I got called a cunt 5 minutes after I came in by a customer and nothing was done about it so later on another customer came in and got an attitude. So instead of me showing my butt I went to the manager and said I need a to go outside or something so I don't disrespect y'all or this restraunt or loose my job. Well they sent me home early. I came in the next day and worked the whole shift. Then I was off till they called me and gave me my schedule. Well they didn't. I had to call them and she tells me that the manager would call me back. She never did. I did nothing wrong and they couldn't even be professional enough to let me know I'm no longer employed. read more

We stopped by for lunch due to location close to 95, the workers were very friendly. The food was over salted, I had over salted brisket with over salted baked beans, don't even bother trying the onion rings. My husband had over salted chicken with over salted cream spinach. The sweet barbecue sauce was also too salty The staff were friendly, made us feel right at home. The was just like eating a container of salt read more

Tremendous ! Best deal ever!!! Great food!!! We had the ribs. Burnt ends sandwich. My son had the pulled pork and kielbasa sandwich... Okra, beans, fries.. everything terrific!!! read more

Ugh! Being from out of town, we wanted some BBQ and some people recommended here. The brisket was great as well as the fried okra. Too bad the lady behind the counter had an attitude in a half, it was like I was bothering her paying for my meal. I did not know the utensils was by the fountain drinks, so when I went to ask the lady, they was a guy in front of me asking the same thing. She gave him a set....so I asked as well, she told me they over there. WTF! Pork ribs were ok, but a bit dry. read more

A-OK! 3 meat plate with 2 sides and a roll for $12.50 was plenty for the two of us; ribs, beef brisket and pulled pork all very tender, juicy and very little fat. Baked potato casserole and jalapeño beans were good accompaniments. Great, friendly service and free soft serve ice cream was a nice touch. Only minor drawback was all 3 sauces tasted pretty similar-not much variety. read more

We stopped at Georgia welcome center and we saw this place advertised. To be honest we didn't go there at first. Place that we wanted to eat was so packed that we left. When we walked in to Dickey there was no wait. I ordered 1 meat plate with pulled pork and side dishes and my husband ordered 2 meat plate with pulled pork and keilbasa. Pulled pork was gooooooood with 3 choices of bbq sauce on side. At the end of our meal we got free soft serve ice cream. read more

Delicious food! We had brisket, spicy cheese sausage, fried okra and the mashed potato casserole.... YUM! My friends and I stopped here for a lunch break during an incredibly long drive down for a holiday vacation, and we were not disappointed! This place is cheap while also maintaining the expectations of what good southern BBQ should taste like. I got the special for the day (Friday) which was a pulled pork plate which also comes with two sides, a roll, and a drink, all for just $8.99! Meat was very tender and moist and paired great with all of the BBQ sauces. They have the sauce on the side in warmers with three to choose from (hot and spicy, sweet, and traditional). I chose green beans and fried okra as my sides, and while the fried okra was a hit, I think the green beans were too salty for my tastes. Staff was very friendly and you can even grab some free soft-serve vanilla ice cream on your way out. Bathroom was also reasonably clean which was really important for us during our extended road trip. Overall, I wish I had a Dickey's near my hometown, for I'd go there all the time! read more

I was going to Dickey's BBQ for their Wednesday special ($3 pork BBQ sandwich) but they've since pulled that offer. The BBQ was ok. A bit too greasy, not a very large portion, but a decent deal for $3. The staff was always a pain to deal with, never very nice or friendly. Anyway, I've discovered the Smoking Pig in Richmond Hill and don't plan to ever visit Dickey's again. I suggest everyone else do the same. read more

Unassuming and delicious. We had excellent service here and I recommend making the stop here off of the interstate if you're hungry

First time here, but it won't be my last! I had the 2-meat plate and loved it. Chopped brisket, ribs, green beans, Brunswick stew, and added a side of fried okra. My wife had the pulled pork, baked potato casserole, and the baked beans. Everything was outstanding! I saw other folks' plates and they all looked great too. Looking forward to trying more from there soon. read more

4/5 stars for the amount of food you get for the price you pay. 3/5 for the BBQ. It wasn't bad, just average. For a place that advertises slow smoked meat, there just wasn't enough smoke flavor even though the restaurant itself was a hot box. I suggest getting to-go if you have any respiratory issues. On the other hand, their BBQ sauce is pretty delicious. read more

Went based on Yelp reviews. I had no idea this was a chain. Enter the restaurant and found three ladies working the counter. I said we had heard that this was the place to come for good barbecue and one of them replied ,"sometimes". I asked when we should come back. We all laughed and the wife ordered a one meat plate (brisket) and ordered a two meat plate (Brisket and pulled pork). Both were served on butcher paper. We both had the cole slaw. wife had baked beans I had the jalapeno beans. We both liked the sides. They were decent. The meat though is why we came. Brisket was so dry I wanted to cry. It was obvious it had been sitting for hours. The pulled pork had very little smoke flavor and no bark. This is definitely fast food BBQ. If you love smoked meat take a pass. read more

Absolutely horrible food! $43 for two people - I think we were over charged. I got takeout and took food back to our hotel. Restaurant was closed by the time I opened food and saw what I had - old dried out, smelled bad burnt ends. Tasted off. We felt it best to not eat the meat for fear of getting sick. Rubbery old fries, clearly not fresh. Baked potato casserole was awful! Beans were only thing even remotely decent. We threw the meal in the garbage and went to bed hungry after a long days travel. What a disappointment and waste of money! Zero stars! read more

Driving from South Florida to Washington D.C. And was craving some BBQ. We yelped some places close to Savannah and decided to go with Dicky's! Best decision we made. We got the 3 meat platter and chose brisket, ribs and ham! OMG these ribs are THE BEST! Meat falls clean off the bone. And the brisket was phenomenal. Sweet tea is to die for. The staff is super friendly! The two gentlemen working this particular Saturday night were amazing considering we got there right before they closed. They offered us extra biscuits and did not rush us or make us feel hurried. And to top of this already amazing experience, you get a free ice cream cone for dessert! We will definitely be stopping back here when we make the trip again. read more

1 star for the free ice cream...not sure what the hype is all about with Dickey's! Stopped by on road trip & tried the Texas style chopped brisket, looked like alpo...tasted like shit! If you like cafeteria taters and okra, c'mon down to Dickies...nothing fresh or authentic about these ingredients. P.S: Wait staff taking orders looked as if she were ready to kill someone. read more

Hubby will drive miles for Dickey's BBQ. He usually orders the Pulled BBQ, mac & cheese, baked beans & a sweet tea. I must admit this is some good BBQ! What can we say? We drove 10 hours from Baltimore Maryland to find some great Georgia BBQ. What we found was pure heaven on a bun! The slow cooked pork sandwich was delicious. The sausage was the best I have had in years. Service-from the pleasant smile and southern charm of the woman making our food to the wonderfully accommodating cashier, we were not dissapointed! Free ice cream too! Come hongry, y'all! Tom n Jan! read more

Very good brisket and ribs. The food had a lot of flavor and they also offered different dipping sauces that were good. It was very fresh too! Pricing was reasonable as well ($25 for 4 of us sharing). This is a must try spot if you're in the mood for some good bbq . Just time yourself wisely because although they are fast, there was quite a line during lunch. read more

Ordered from GrubHub tonight. My food was hot and actually so delicious. Thanks guys awesome job.

Went here today for lunch with a bunch of Gulfstream'ers. Place is pretty nice inside, the kid taking orders wasn't exactly helpful though. That being said, we got the combo with the pulled pork and 2 sides and it was good. The sauces are also very tasty. If they were smart they would offer that pulled pork deal for lunch everyday, I know tons of people that would get that everytime. I will go back for sure!!! read more
