The first time i went there i was singing their highest praises, but then i go for the second time and there was zero consistency, it was like going to a whole new sub shop. For a 15 dollar 10 inch sub i would expect there to be a healthy amount of meat but that was not the case here, and for a shop that prides themselves on fresh bread, i was surprised to get some not so fresh bread at the noon lunch rush smh. The service was lacking due to forgetting to put items on the sub that were requested, its aggravating when i have to check my sub before i leave to make sure its made right. The layout isn't entirely intuitive i.e. there are no signs telling you were to order etc. I ordered a BLT sub. When I got to the end where you pay there wasn't anyone there except another customer so I waited. I manager looking person came out and handed the other customer her sub and walked away- the customer had a look of puzzlement on her face like she had a question but he walked away so fast she didn't get a chance to ask it. A minute later he starts to walk by, she stopped him and asked "can I pay for this?" He was agreeable, thats good. I managed to pay for mine while he was there. Normally the subs are delicious and full of meat. Not this time. There was hardly any meat on half the sub and the bread wasn't fresh.

Curbside pickup, order inside, eat inside, or take out all available at this location. Everybody is wearing masks. I'd day these subs rival Wegman's and honestly, I liked their everything sub bread better than any of Weggies offerings. Ample meats provided on my Uncle Louis medium sized (see my pics), though next time I'd ask for extra roasted red peppers and banana peppers. Very few of those provided. They've got lots of cold and hot subs to choose from, but they don't toast their cold subs even if you ask. However, they will grill your cold meats like turkey, ham, roast beef for you if you want. Next time I'll try their horseradish mayo. The counter girl that took my order and prepped my sammich said it's good. The medium ran me just over 9 bucks and it was two meals worth of sub, and that's without eating chips or cookies too. Definitely worth the price and certainly a cut above Jersey Mikes.id say the medium is like no or 10 inches and is very thick, without it being all bread. Not sure about their wifi as I didn't have time to check since I did a to-go order. When I first pulled into the parking lot, I noticed a disheveled, dirty looking employee sitting on the parking lot ground. Well, I answered the restaurant this employee was now behind the counter. I placed my order, but I could not remember exactly what it was this to shovel. Worker was asked by me. What did I order in a pompous attitude? She told me can't I remember I am a cancer patient. I've had radiation to my head. I'm not as sharp as I used to be and I could not remember what I had just ordered. I did not need her ridicule I summoned the manager over. Delicious, filling, stuffed to the brim subs at a reasonable price. I was in charge of organizing catered lunch deliveries for a group at work for a time. The catered sub platters kept everyone happy and were consistently fresh without soggy bread and gave us a variety of sub options. We would also get individual size chip bags, soft drinks, and chocolate chip cookies which were a huge hit with the department. Wanting to try a new sandwich shop for lunch, I hopped on Google to find a DiBella's Subs. Upon entering, very nice layout design, and decor. I especially liked the red neon's. After taking a quick peek at the menu, I decided to go with an Uncle Louie which consists of Turkey, Roast Beef and Ham. You're able to customize the sandwich to your liking, I got lettuce, tomato, pickles, olives, and mayo. There are 3 sandwich sizes to choose from which were 7 in, 10 in, and 14 in. I went with a medium (10 in) - The bread was my favorite part. I got an Everything roll, and it tasted just like an everything bagel, maybe that's why I was such a fan. The meats were fresh and good, but the sandwich was pretty haphazardly thrown together with the meat being crumbled up and kinda sprinkled along the sandwich. Again, although this was good, I'd definitely try something different next time. Maybe something off the hot list like a Buffalo Chicken or Cheesesteak. read more

DiBellas gradually evolved from an Italian import store and deli, to moving away from importing, turning instead to time-honored baking techniques that would produce the classic sub roll for which they're famous. I tried to check out DiBellas when they first opened, but since the lines were crazy for a while, I waited. Now that it has been open a little over a year, I figured I'd give them a try today since I was in the mood for a sandwich and happened to be in the area. DiBellas is set up like most delis, where you walk up to a counter, pick a sandwich off the board, and an employee adds your condiments and veggies. I chose a medium sized buffalo chicken sub while the wife went with The Dagwood, a sub of turkey, ham and corned beef. The employees were very nice and explained their process to us when we mentioned we were there for the first time. My chicken was thrown on a flat top and our sandwiches were made relatively quickly. It was a Sunday about 1130 am, so there weren't many other customers inside yet. It's a huge place, and I actually very much liked their old school NY deli style decor, including the fancy door to their single person bathrooms. Restaurant was very clean as well. We sat down and started in. The subs were ok, but were nothing special. I did very much like their buffalo sauce, but the everything roll I had my sub on was a little bland and didn't have that pop of flavor I look for from an everything style bread, and it was a tad on the harder, crusty side for me, but that's just preference. Overall, don't go expecting the greatest sub you've ever had, but if you have a craving for a simple sandwich like I did, it'll satisfy that craving. I wouldn't personally go out of my way for it though, as there are better, bigger, cheaper sandwiches out there. read more

Dibellas does not disappoint! We often order their medium subs for our dinner meal and just one half is enough for me and the other half provides lunch the next day. The subs are made to order so my Uncle Louie was with roast beef and turkey and no ham. It had plenty of meat and condiments as ordered and don't forget to add a little if their famous oil on the sub. My husband had the Philly chicken cheesesteak and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing no leftovers for the next day! Dibellas also has a reward club and we do on occasion receive coupons. In these times, the cost of products including these subs has gone up but despite this, Dibellas does not skimp on the quality or quantity of the ingredients in their subs. Very sub-par, pun intended. I was so excited to try their Philly cheesesteak as I was craving one. This was a disappointment. There was barely any cheese on it. I debated taking it back in and complaining. I'm not sure why they were so skimpy on the cheese. There was plenty of meat, but without cheese it was just a dry sandwich. Won't be coming here again. So I've heard a few things about this place and finally got a chance to stop while at work. Apparently this is a place born in Rochester NY and grew leaps and bounds and prides itself on quality subs. Now I will say. It's an incredibly clean place. The subway tiles and faux tin ceiling. Well lit with large windows and ample seating and parking. It is a relatively new building here so I did anticipate that at least. The menu is easy to understand and is clearly marked. But you won't see any of the ingredients as they are behind the bar in a way that you can't tell what's being put on your sandwich unless you're really tall. Now as for the food. I figured I'd get something quick and simple as I only get a half hour for lunch. And a BLT is one of my favorite sandwiches. Kinda hard to mess one up, but can be done extremely well. Their story says they pride themselves on their rolls. Which I can say are above average but nothing I would chase down. Nice shell on them and incredibly chewy in the middle. So if gluten doesn't agree with you. You will not deal well with it. Basic shredded lettuce and a few tomatoes. It could definitely deal with better veggies. But the upside to it. Is the amount of stuff that you want on the sandwich. There was a TON of bacon on it. Usually sandwich places load on the cheap toppings and skimp you on the meats and cheeses. Definitely not the case here. So as for my sandwich. It wasn't anything I'd go out of my way to get again. But I did enjoy it. The service. Well, they aren't unfriendly or rude by any means but have the personality of the floor they are standing on. I mean you'd expect a "Hi, How are you?" Or you know a smile when you're being served. Whoa. This was my reaction when I took my first bite of a DiBella's sub. I knew the sandwich game in Syracuse had changed with this new addition to town. I had heard of DiBella's before as I have visited Rochester many times, though I had never had the opportunity to try it. DiBella's seems to take great pride in their sub rolls, and they should - the rolls are the best I've had and I've eaten a LOT of subs in my moderately young life. They offer plain, wheat, everything, or sesame, so you always have good options when pairing your bread with a hot or cold sub. They have a nice selection of pre-configured sub options as well as the option to design your own. Once you put your order in, you won't be waiting long to get your food to your table. As any good sub shop, they have options for a meal deal along with several side items. They also make a very good chocolate chip cookie if you're looking to satisfy the old sweet tooth. So far I've tried a plain turkey, salami, buffalo chicken, the Uncle Louie (turkey/ham/roast beef), and a chicken philly and none have disappointed. If you arrive during peak lunch hours (12-1 PM) then you should expect a wait, especially for a hot sub. They do use a buzzer though which lets you sit down, grab a drink, and take your jacket off while you wait. DiBella's has a loyalty card which can earn you free subs as well. While I haven't signed up, I will be as I plan on visiting many more times in the future. read more

I visited the Dewitt location during evening hours. Moderately busy, but did not have much of a wait. Customer service was great. I ordered the B.L.T and was surprised to find that going during evening hours the bread still tasted very fresh. Bacon was cooked to my liking - Very crispy, but not burnt. I've had their subs for the last few years and generally they are good. Went in last night and had a rough experience. Walked in and had two other people in line. One person left as soon as we got there which wasn't a good omen. After about five minutes went by, the first group finally got their order taken. We waited another seven minutes watching four people behind the counter. Finally a worker approached us but then never made eye contact, grabbed a piece of paper, then walked away. I order out a lot and they all have their specials but this place they are courteous, they are very Poli and the food omg from steak subs to lunch meat subs are the absolute best. The fresh is soo fresh and soft. I'm a slow eater so my steak gets cold. After I hear it up it's still fresh and soft. The prices are worth every penny. The size without adding extra meat is unbelievable. Please try them out u will never get from any place else.
