If I could give this company 10 stars, I would! I was trying to tow my car 7 miles today and went through 3 tow truck drivers. My car is modified, and lowered, but not slammed, and certainly towable. It needs a flatbed, but I've had it towed several times over the past 8 years with no problems. The first 2 drivers today saw my car and got out of their trucks with a bad attitude. They acted like they drew the short straw having to deal with the girl with the pink modified car. One of them asked me if I even tried to start the car and told me to try. Just to save an argument, I went ahead and cranked it for him knowing it wouldn't start. He informed me it was just my timing belt. You should have seen his face when I told him my engine (a rotary) doesn't have a timing belt He rolled his eyes and shook his head like he was appalled at how stupid I was. The second one even got in a fight with my mechanic because he didn't like where my car was parked and drove away in a snit. I understand that not everyone is comfortable towing a modified car, but there's no need to be a jackass about it and treat your customer like she's a moron. Just politely decline...I completely understand and would rather not have someone tow my car who isn't comfortable doing so. I finally gave Diamond Valley Towing a call and Josh came out. Wow...what a difference! He was very polite, treated me and my car with respect, had no problems getting my car on his truck. It took him far less time to get my car on his truck than it took the other two guys to complain about not being able to. Absolutely professional and awesome to deal with. I called to see if we could pick it up but they told us they could provide no information until Monday. I called first thing Monday and had everything done from another state by Thursday. Somehow it's close to $1000 when two of those days they could tell us nothing. What a scam. Everyone we talked to was nice but it was quite the unexpected and expensive favor to our friend and dishonest business practices on their end. Twice now, Sam at Diamond Valley Towing has helped me get out of a jam. Our dealership had sold an F-150 a few months back and literally 2 hours later, the truck had broken down on the client who bought it. I called another towing company first who originally said they would pick him up in an hour, and later called to say it would now be three hours before they could pick up our upset customer. I called DVT and explained the situation to Sam, who literally said he would drop what he was doing and leave right then and there to go pick up our customer! Fast forward now to yesterday... somehow the only key to a pre-owned 2016 Subaru Outback that we have, got lost. I had to get the car towed across the street to the Subaru dealer to get a new key programmed so I called Sam and yet again, he and his driver made it happen and got the car over asap! Towing companies can sometimes be a little frustrating to deal with sometimes due to long wait times or overly expensive pricing, but I have to say that DVT is reasonable on pricing and the owner Sam is proud to get the job done efficiently as well. Another 5 Star Review and here's why. After my 17 year daughter got into a fender bender on the freeway she called USAA insurance and arranged a tow truck. I was in New York and her Auntie and Uncle went to wait with her. The Other tow truck company after almost 2hrs never showed up and when they reached me in New York (2am my time) I called SAM and asked how quick could he help us. I couldn't believe it but within 15 minutes Sam had his driver Mitch who was also amazing on-site, had the girls off the road and car picked up. Lesson learned that the Highway Patrol officer after coming by twice said don't wait and just call another reputable company like DVT and he even acknowledged Diamond Valley Towing as a very reputable company. Sam was my guardian angel through this horrible ordeal I had with an RV rear tire blowout. AAA left me stranded for hours with no update on when or how they were going to get me out of my situation. These guys waited out side my apartments until. someone open the gate . Then they speed up to get In to drive around to look for a car . At 11 :00 . The space is so little who knows if they were able to lift the vehicle tires . They didn't leave a message or nothing. So who know if they damaged the vehicle. Absolute dog shit / warm dog water of a company. Don't waste your time even considering them. I called in the day before I needed a tow to inquire about price. The woman on the phone was rude but whatever I can look past that. I locked in a price & set up a time to have my vehicle picked up for the next day. I received a phone call later on that afternoon from some random person (caller ID showed Samantha) saying they were so and so from the tow company. The fellow on the phone came off very aggressive asking why i couldn't have the car picked up today instead of the following day & claimed that "I didn't need to be there" to have my car picked up & dropped off at the shop. Work on your social skills bucko. It seemed like he was trying to move my pick up date because it inconvenienced him or something. The worst part of this whole experience was they never showed up the following day. No phone call explaining why they failed to show up or anything. My car gear shifter wouldn't engage, leaving the car stuck in park. The tow truck sent by AAA couldn't get it into neutral, so didn't want to damage the car and told us we should call Ford dealership since they had replaced a bushing recently due to a recall. Ford sent Jesse from Diamond Valley Towing who saved the day. We had been stuck in a school parking lot for hours in the rain. I'm from out of the area and was in town trying to get a RV that I inherited towed to a shop to get it running. It was really difficult to get a tow because of the condition of the RV and the distance to the shop. After calling every tow company in the area I started talking to Sam. BEWARE!! My experience was not a good one. I had another tow company called and said they would be there within the hour. In that hour I called and it was again delayed..Once the guy came he was not prepared to tow my car. Blah Blah Blah..said he would call someone else to help me. After an hour I called them again and they said, oh he is on a call and will be an hour..Now its after 12:00. I called before 8:00. So I check around and found Diamond Valley Towing..said they would be there in 30 minutes. After an hour I called back. Oh the guy had to take his lunch. So they finally showed up about 1:30. I told them I had to have to lift wheel since my car was in park and would not start. They showed up with a huge tow truck, no lift wheel. The driver said no problem. Well, he drug my car sideways to get it to the truck. I didn't like that but he assured me its ok...(not to me) Finally at 2:00 my car was loaded. My first quote was 190.00 to take 7 miles. I thought that was ridiculous. Well, Diamond Valley Towing charged 300.00!!! What a rip off...Sam, I guess he is the owner, called me and said, My guys go to school, gas is high, blah blah blah...he lowered it to 250.00 which I paid but will never never use this company again...and let me tell you a secret...they all work together.
