Let's start with the only reason this was the place I ended up getting my nails done, it was a…read moreSunday and a holiday weekend. My normal spot is closed on Sundays ( I didn't know I usually go during the week). So I read some reviews and by the time I was on my 4th salon, I finally found one that was open. I called soon after they opened, told them I needed a mani, pedi- for my wedding. Told the guy working on my pedicure a few times it was for my wedding. Let's start with the good. They have TONS of colors. Although not all of the colors are sampled.. so you really have to go with the color on the bottle and hope that's the actual color you want. Also I was offered a drink (water, soda, or wine) I choose wine, which was a sweet white. Now for the bad. My appointment started about 15 mins late, slightly annoying but not that big of a deal. The water started an ok temperature but I was left sitting for so long it was cold by the time my pedicure got started. Then the guy literally scrubbed my skin right off.. on the side of my foot where I don't have ANYtype of callus (see picture) he also did that to the bottle of one of my toes. Then there is a toe that isn't glossy and looks faded. So we move up to get my nails done. I really wish I had a picture of what he originally did. I showed him a picture and said I wanted my nails to look exactly like the picture. Size, shape, color.. everything. So he starts to shape my nails.. now mind you I have very short natural nails.. and none are really the same length. So he's shaping them and I remind him that I want them to look just like the picture. The length too. Then he said "oh that needs tip" I said that's fine. Then he got up walked to another nail tech and then they both turn to me. The other ones waves me over.. so I get up and go to his station. I show him my picture and he says " oh I thought you wanted a manicure". I said I guess I didn't know what it was called but that I wanted my nails to look just like the picture. Then he did my nails in like 15 mins. The sloppiest I've ever gotten them done. They are a consistent shape, they are alllll too long and much longer then the image and not the same color I showed- these have like a hot pink hue I wanted like a baby blue (see image) At this point I had been at the nail salon for over 2 hours and really wasn't happy with any of the work. Then I found out that my total was $150. Never got a breakdown. Oh and did I mention they also made me bleed in 3 places of my cuticles. I can't believe these will be the nails I have for my wedding. I can only hope I save someone else from spending their money here.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. I had my first experience with Zen Nails after a coworker…read morementioned them. I took my niece for a girls day. We both got pedicures and I had a GEL polish change on my hands. The experience was more than horrible. I have attached photos from the experience for your review. PLEASE reconsider where you go as the photos speak for themselves. My niece was injured, resulting in a bloody foot and a band aid, as they destroyed her foot (seen in photo). My polish change ($40) for gel came off on the ride home. Not chipped the whole nail was bare and the polish was on the floorboard of my vehicle. I called and was informed I could come back in for repairs at no cost. I informed them I would just prefer the refund on the polish change, not the full bill, simply the polish change. I was informed they would Venmo me my refund, that was on Sunday. On Monday I still had no refund and reached back out to the salon. I was then informed to text photos to them and was provided an invalid phone number. I called back and got an email address. Again, I submitted photos via email with my concerns and request for refund. I did not receive any communication or refund until Tuesday, when I sent an email stating that due to the way it was handled, I would be posting this review. I received a text message within an hour saying that they have issued the refund. It took all of this back and forth, phone calls, emails, texts, etc. just to get a polish change refund, again not full refund. I checked my account and there is no refund to date. This was a horrible experience. I would HIGHLY recommend going to another salon if you are looking for somewhere new, as this is not the place!

I also called to make…read morean appointment a week in advance, and a certain time was given to me which was fine, but then they called me the day of my appointment to tell me my time was changed from 10:30am to 9:00am in which I was very distributed of why my appointment time was changed, in which I received the call of my appointment at 9:00am. Also, they let two people to do your nails, and one to do your feet, so that they both can get tips. This is not acceptable, and very unhappy with that kind of service.

There is a great selection of both gel and regular nail polishes that line the wall. The best feature that stood out to me was that the nail tables have built in UV lights. Even though the salon was busy when I went around Friday 12PM, there were enough technicians to quickly cater to all customers.
