This is the best nail salon I have ever gone to. They are clean, accommodating and friendly. I have gone to so many different nail salons since moving to Delaware and just couldn't find the perfect fit, until I went to Perfect Nails. Stephanie and her husband are wonderful people. Check this salon out, you will be glad you did. read more

I have been getting my nails done by Casey for over 5 years. He always does a great job. I schedule my next appointment every time I go because they book up quickly. Casey and his wife care for their customers and do what they can to accomodate them. I recommend them highly. read more

i have been going there for many years with breaks in between. they treat me like crap but i keep going back bc they are good at what they do. if you can't handle being treated like dirt even though you are as friendly as can be and have never done anything to give them a reason to treat you that way, than go there. if you don't like being treated like a lower life form than i advise you stay far away from this nail salon. i am shopping my options and as soon as i find someone new, i'm leaving for good. i have gone out of my way for too long to be as nice as possible, and tipping well to be treated like the wife treats me. its dreadful. it really is. read more

Steph and Kacey are the best!!! Nails and waxing are perfect! Highly recommend perfect nails!

Very Very unhappy . I've been coming to this salon Perfect Nails for 20 years ! After 5 months of COVID I had an appointment today! At least 5 of my friends have left this place , due to rude behavior, and snippy owner. I've stayed ! Today , my appointment was for 3:00 pm. They called to ask if I could come in earlier. I agreed to 12:15 pm. I was there on time ! Stephanie made me wait for 15 minutes (while she was in the back giggling at videos on her phone) I finally said something! She was rude about finding my color choice and promptly said she was charging me $10 more for my nails ! I was annoyed but agreed ! My nails and pedicure took an hour and a half ( she left me sitting for 10 minutes while she took a client to do eyebrows ! ) She did nothing different, and did not spend any longer than usual! As I questioned her , she stated that I had agreed to the price. Which I had and I paid ! NEVER AGAIN ! Totally ripped off because she's in a bad mood ! AKA the reason my other friends have found other salons ! Look for other salons ! There are plenty out there! I don't ever bash like this , but I'm really mad ! NO TIP ! read more

Perfect Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Wilmington, Delaware

I was introduced to this salon by a friend of mine and I'm completely hooked. It's extremely hard to find a salon that can make a decent almond/short stiletto shape but this salon never disappoints. I drive out of my way to come here and the nail tech that I go to (I don't even know her name) is always friendly and does an amazing job. I'm always tense at the salon when it comes time to file my nails into their desired shape because A LOT of salons file wayyyy too deep into my nail bed and leave me with my fingers in excruciating pain. Not here. She never files too deep/hard and she's quick but not rushed. I'm glad I found this salon. read more

My mother in law and I had been going to another local shop. They always took care of her really well, but I always seemed to get the clumsy one cutting my cuticles. Ouch! However, since we've been coming here the last six months, they treat us both well. Everyone is friendly. Happy to see us and all the other customers coming in the door. They always manage to squeeze us in without an appointment. Take their time and make suggestions when needed. Mom really likes the dipping powder mani. It lasts a long time. Always pleasant. Always clean. Always have chairs full! Keep it going Perfect Nails! read more

Had pedicure there last night and was optimistic considering how crowded it was, but worst pedicure ever. She barely hit the corners of any of my nail beds and the color was smeared on my skin around the toea (had to come home and take remover to my skin). So disappointed read more

You are missed! I hope you all are well and will be able to open soon! Going to your salon was a simple pleasure that I realize now, after this shutdown, that I took for granted. Looking forward to seeing you all soon! read more

I'm not complaining about the nails performed by Stephanie she does a good job all the time. But her male employee is a rude and disrespectful person. I had an appointment with Stephanie and she was running late as usual and he pointed to the other worker and said you go with her. I said no I have an appointment with Stephanie is Stephanie running late again . well he started yelling at me saying you complain about always being late we do not want you as a customer and started rattling other loud things, now mind you I am 78 years old and I told home you are in America and you do not speak to customers like this and again he said we don't need your business. first of all I was not his customer and I pay and tip very well. The owner Stephanie did nothing to stop him from embarrassing me nor did she apologize for his actions . if my nails weren't so long because she could not fit me in a week before I would have walked out. Never never have I been treated like that or spoken to like this. I have 4 members of my family that go to her and will never go to them again. so he not only lost my business but 4 others In my family. The owner never thanked me for the generous tip nor said goodbye. I guess her ill spoken employee is more important then her customers. There are so many salons to choose from so never allow someone to speak to you with such disrespect. I was sick the rest of the evening after being subject to that disgusting episode. read more

I've had my nails done here about 6 times - gel with the dip - and my experience has been about half and half. The first time the male owner did an amazing job and the manicure lasted about 4 weeks. I was sold. However, this last time the polish on one nail started to lift off after just two days. I'm now walking around with a band aid to hold it on until my next manicure. I won't go back to have it corrected because during my last manicure all of the employees talked behind the back of a customer who came in with a complaint. Although I couldn't understand their comments, the subject matter was quite clear. Frankly, the staff often speak so the customers can't understand them and leaves me feeling uncomfortable. I think I'll be looking elsewhere. read more

The nail salon itself is fine, but I just walked away with possibly the worst manicure I've ever gotten or ever. The woman rushed through the whole thing... Didn't ask how I wanted my nails filed and basically paint my whole finger. Not really, but I am now left to clean up the polish from around my nail bed. Next time I am visiting. I will try a different place. read more

I have scheduled an appointment in advance over the past two months, and have had to wait anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes before my services start. My clue should be when the husband. who answers phone, and does not ask for my name or what services I am having done. Another fun fact, pay attention to how they interact with their black customers. They don't. I have walked in and spoken to everyone in the shop on more than one occasion, and I have watched Stephanie completely drop head to avoid speaking. Stephanie does my nails well, but she is not very pleasant and polite to the black customers. The customer service at Natural Nails on Marsh Road is exceptional customer service to all races. However. They don't do acrylic nails. Thumbs down for niceness and friendliness to Stephanie at the Perfect Nails shop on Silverside Road. Don't go there if you are black!!! I watched the rudeness portrayed tonight to an elderly black customer and her elderly husband who came into the shop and he said hello, and no one that worked there responded. Stephanie needs to go to a Civil Treatment or diversity class. read more

I was a walk-in for a mani/pedi and was seated right away. I saw they have a tiny chihuahua that roams the whole salon. That is a little off putting for me. While I went to wash my hands during my manicure the owner (the only man) starts texting. When i return he doesn't stop. I sit there for a good minute and clear my throat. He continues to text. I politely explain to him that its very rude to be texting while a customer is sitting right in front of you. He explains he is texting his daughter, its not for fun and that he works 6 days a week. Needless to say I dont let him finish the manicure and he still charges me $1-0 for the work he has already performed. On top of his rudeness my nails were BREAKING the next day from his over filing. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

Perfect nails is my second best choice for nail salons in the area. The lady who sits in the front with bob length hair who sits next to the guy/manager (I wish I was better with names lol) does a really great job polishing. She's a bit rough when handling your hands and feet but not that bad to cause me to write a bad review. But her work is GOOD! Been to her about 4-5 times and I even let the man who sits in the front do my mani and he was good too. It's the lady that sits on the far left in the front who will NEVER do my nails again. Sloppy job. Would definitely return. read more
