I was visiting from out of state and was researching good nail salons. I tried this place and won't be going back. I had Jenn and she completely rushed through my entire manicure and pedicure and they really didn't make me feel welcome and acted more like I was a bother than a customer. Also, she tried to pull a fast one on me and paint my fingers a different color than my toes were even though I specifically said I wanted the same color for both because again she wanted to just get it over with. My friend and I were in the area and last minute decided to get our nails done. We walked in without an appointment and were quickly helped (and able to sit next to each other). They have plenty of polishes with brands like OPI, Essie, Zoya, and more. The nail techs were really friendly offering us beverages and were very delicate with all the filing. I really wanted to love this salon. I love the professionalism, the style/decor of the salon, and all of the techs I've had do a very clean job with both nails and brows. However, for some reason every time both my girlfriend and I get gel manicures it always chips or lifts within a few days. It's very frustrating for me to feel like I need my nails done within a few days to a week of getting them done when the cost isn't exactly cheap. I originally went here to get gel polish removed (that I got from another salon but wasnt happy with the outcome). I ended up getting it removed and a polish change for $23. They reshaped my nails but did not cut my cuticles. I think that was a pretty good price. It's been 2 weeks and the polish has lasted pretty well. Ive been here about 6-7 times because its near my job and I usually walk in during my lunch break. Almost all of the times I felt comfortable and was satisfied with the pedicure I got and the service. The receptionist that is there during noon is super kind and sweet and the nail techs I've had are friendly and cautious with their work. The last time I went was after work and they said I could either get the pedicure with the bare minimum or come back another day because they did have an appointment soon with someone. All of this 100% understandable. I just chose the fast pedicure because i needed my polish redone but the nail tech had an attitude the whole time. And with her body language it showed that she was mad. If you guys are going to make the nail tech rush and feel pressured don't even have the option of letting a walk-in get their nails done. No need for me to feel uncomfortable when you said there was time and no need to make your nail tech rush and give bad service. The salon could of just said "we're sorry, we are fully booked." Other than that. All the other times I went during my lunch break I had a nice experience. They always offered something to drink, had smiles, did a good job on my toes. read more

Very awkward place. I went in for the first time and was greeted, which was nice. Then I went to the nail stations and it was the oddest experience. A group of nail technicians were all grouped at the station huddled over the cell phones and not one looked up at me. So I'm at a station with 6 people who didn't acknowledge me. I felt so uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. I have no idea what their services are, or anything. It was just an uncomfortable experience. PEDICURE SERVICE I was a first time customer and came here based on yelp reviews. I treat myself to a pedicure about 6+ times a year, so am not a regular at any particular salon. Wait time- I was a walk in customer on a Thursday and only waited about five minutes. Cleanliness- the salon smells as clean as other reviews say. Does not smell like chemicals. Pedicure itself- Sue did my pedicure. She was quiet and not overly friendly, which is fine I enjoyed my time to relax. The message part is usually my favorite but was less than one minute each leg. My pedicure was complete in about 20-25 minutes which is insanely fast compared to other standard pedicures I've had in the past. The message chair also just kind of vibrates instead of kneads which I did not enjoy. My pedicure chipped within three days and I was not in any pools or beach areas. Overall it was clean and fast but not the relaxing experience I was looking for. read more

RUDE!!! I walked in today to see if they did the SNS dip. The response, "Um, no, we're all natural here. That's acrylic." I was not aware of that, being new to the dip powder. I replied, saying that the SNS promotes their product as natural. "That's how they sell it," was her retort. Then she added that "We don't even take it off here either." You would believe that a professional, who desires my patronage, would perhaps try to keep my interest by offering her card for later use, or suggest what they do there that keeps nails so healthy. I love this place! I've been here 3 times. They start by having you choose a polish color right next to a candy bar & will offer to help you find a polish if you can't find one. Then they soak you in super cute pedi bowls and offer to get you a drink. You'll be able to watch tv and relax. It's on the expensive side for nails but it's more of a high end salon. So worth it. Today, my Mom and I decided to try out a new nail salon. We both got gel nails and I must say it was the best manicure experience I have had! First of all the salon had great ventilation and there was no scent of nail polish! The workers were very welcoming and easy to talk to. They had an abundant amount of nail colors to choose from and there was an option to get really cool designs on your nail! For example you could get Spongebob Squarepants painted on your nail (and who wouldn't want spongebob painted on their nails???) I would never in a million years go back here. The salon is definitely beautiful from the outside, but the service I received today was a complete disappointment. I arrived there with my mother and we were told to come back in a half and hour to 45 mins. We came back within 25 mins, then was told that we wouldn't be able to be serviced with what we wanted because employees have left for the day . I was told to pick either a pedicure or manicure when i should have been told from the gate that our business wasn't welcomed here. I was thinking about doing an event for my staff here but after his experience I wouldn't recommend this place again. Worse part is, this was the first time my mother has been out in 7 months because she has been ill and I told her about this place. Sorry won't be back. The girl from 202 nails is there and while very nice, still needs years worth of training. Three people I know of have been to her multiple times for both manicures and pedicures and had issues with their gel coming off immediately after. Ends don't meet, no capping, etc. I'm all about supporting small businesses but $35 is too much money to throw away .So if you can ensure you don't get her, maybe try them? Otherwise, you're clear to go back to 202 or another nail spa in area. read more

My first time at Polish Lounge was a walk-in on a random weekday. They were able to squeeze me in quickly. The nail technician did a good job with my pedicure, so I decided to come back again. My second time at Polish, I made an appointment for an express pedicure. It was by far the fastest and the worst express pedicure that I ever received. There was nail polish all around the skin and some parts of my toes had not been polished. My precious nail polish was still showing. The nail technician zipped through the pedicure and then proceeded to sit and play on her phone. She didn't even rush to get to another customer. The quality of the pedicure was on par with what I can do. I'm going to save my money and do my own pedicure or go elsewhere the next time. read more

I found this place because I'm pregnant and wanted a natural/organic salon. This place promises no fumes and that they carry a selection of nail polishes that are safe and chemical free, which they do. I arrive for my pedicure, pick a color from the brand of nail polish that is formaldehyde free only to find that they still use a base and top coat with all the chemicals I was going there to avoid. Got a gel manicure and it chipped within 2 days, salon is on the pricer side compared to most nail salons in GV as most charge $25 for gel manicures which this nail salon charged $32. Manicurist was really nice but was so slow and cutting my cuticles and didn't even cut them properly as there was excess dead skin still on my nails.
