I came here for a pedicure. There are lots of traditional and gel polishes to choose from, including a lot of OPI polish in trending colors (ie: new-looking bottles of pastels for summer). There are a lot of nail technicians, as this place seems to have a quite steady business. I was able to get in as a walk-in on a weekday around lunch. My pedicure was very relaxing. I got one of the more deluxe packages, which came with a hot stone massage and a hot wax treatment. The prices seem quite reasonable, especially for the quality of services offered. I paid in cash and left a cash tip. The salon looked clean and they have nice, functional massage chairs. I would definitely come back. read more

Came here for a pedicure after seeing someone recommend it on Facebook. This is like 45 minutes from my house but I have had too many subpar experiences at places near me so I figured I would make the drive. I was able to make an appointment the day before. I will say the atmosphere is not as luxurious or spa like as some of the other places I've gone but they did a great job. They have a lot of different options for pedicures. I did the milk & honey pedicure. My tech was Thang. She took her time and it felt great. And most importantly, my pedicure held up overtime. Made an appointment for 1:30pm. Walked in 5 minutes before my appointment time and all the nail techs were with someone and 3 other people waiting to also get a service done. Then, when I tried to ask a question approximately 3 times, I pretty much got blown off. It was an extremely uncomfortable environment with everyone staring at you. We called ahead to get pedicures for a group of 4 ladies and told us to come right in and they could take us. There were 3 people working so I was surprised by this when we walked in. I'm not one to usually go to a professional manicurist, but my friend insisted. It was a nice experience! We made appointments, and most the chairs were full but no one was waiting, but I'd still recommend. The pedicures were very relaxing and colors look great. My friend recommended getting the gel for the mani and regular for pedi, which I think is good since the toes are covered more and bump into less things. The gels have held up well on the hands, but the manicurist didn't push down the cuticles so it looks like time for a fill needed after a week. I was disappointed that you can't put a tip on a credit card, but you can pay. I was going to tip more on a card but could only give cash what I had on hand, luckily I had some cash. I think overall it was a relaxing experience and nails look good, so I would recommend this place. read more

This is my honest and fair review: I have given it several chances, not always having a bad time, but in short I will never be back to this salon. Background (Facts): -I have been to this nail salon a few times, 4 or 5, and have made appointments every time. They have all been on different days at different times - I am always accompanied by my girlfriend as we get our nails done together. -I always get a gel manicure and my girlfriend gets full set w/ gel polish. Cons; -The service is inconsistent- Despite always making an appointment for both of us, some days they take you right away and others (like my last time there) they made me wait 45 minutes before taking me, or they make one of us wait significantly later than the other person. -Both my girlfriend and myself have experienced inconsistency in their manicure routine. (For example, sometimes our cuticles are cut, sometimes not. Sometimes we get hot towels, sometimes we don't. Etc.) -Every time we have gone, one of our nail techs has made at least one our fingers bleed (sometimes several fingers) and did not demonstrate any degree of sanitation or infection prevention (didn't clean the area, continued using the same tools, etc.) -My most recent time going, and honestly what inspired this review altogether, the nail tech was trying to accomplish giving someone a pedicure while beginning to do my nails because they were busy. First she asked her co-worker (also helping another guest) to dremel one of my hands' polish. The co-worker returned to their original guest. After a few minutes, the multi-tasking nail tech came over and put on chemical gel polish remover. She told me to wait, and I did for about 10 minutes until I started to experience physical pain on my nails. I spoke up, and she hurriedly took the rest of my polish off. Her guest getting a pedicure started to move because now she was making her wait, so she stopped removing my gel to keep her pedicure guest still. I told her I no longer wanted to get my nails done. She removed my polish and I left. -Smelled like feces very pungently the last time I went as well Pros; -The prices seemed reasonable compared to neighboring salons -The outcome was that the quality of their gel showed longevity in wear. My nails often grew out before any gel peeled off or chipped in any way. -I guess you could go without an appointment if you're flexible time-wise! -Surcharge-Free ATM read more

Fourth time coming here now, the removal process was unbelievable. It hurt so bad and i thought it was normal to just have them ripped off by using an acrylic tip, apparently that is not normal and I didn't know that you may have to ask for a soak removal. Sam does a wonderful job on my nails every time. He is precise with the shape which is super important to me because I am so picky when they aren't perfectly shaped! I usually get a full set of DIP, this week I also got a hot stone pedicure from one of the young ladies working there -forgot her name :( but she did a wonderful job as well and the heat from the water, hot stones and wax treatment I received warmed me right up! I've been to this nail salon twice the first time to have my granddaughter's nails painted. That was a nice experience. The second visit I was just getting a regular nail manicure. No gel just regular nail polish. After 10 minutes underneath the blower my thumb nails got very quickly messed up. The lady that I did my nails was not very pleasant to me having to redo the thumbs. She rushed, put on just one coat, and told me to put my nails underneath the blower again. It was not well applied and I asked to have it done over. She just told me to wait until she was done with her customer in a unpleasant manner. Another technician offered to help me after several minutes. Anyways, the same thing happened again. I waited the 10 minutes, making sure to get my thumbs exposed to the blower. Unfortunately, the nail polish got messed up again very quickly. i'm not sure if it was the nail polish quality. But my main complaint is the way this nail technician treated me. She was very unpleasant and didn't want to be bothered doing my nails over. I will not go back to this salon just because of the way I was treated. I feel like because I was not getting an expensive service they didn't treat me as well. Now I'm going to go to a different salon and get a more expensive service. read more

I've been searching for a nail place for the past few months and decided to try Nail Bar & Spa based off the reviews and location to where I live. This is my second time coming to Nail Bar and I think I can finally say I've found my new nail place. The staff and service is phenomenal. Both technicians I've had, did an amazing job with my dip powder. & I love how with the SNS, a cuticle cut is included with it so it's like I don't have to pay for a manicure which is great. There's a lot of different colors to choose from for dip powder, gel, and just regular nail polish. The place is not as big so depending on the time of day and on the weekends, there may be a longer wait. But I still highly recommend coming. read more

My wife had to wait over an hour to get her nails done. She had a 9am appointment and several people came in after her and were serviced. So we let that go. My wife went back today 9/22/2024 no appt and they took her right away. Kim Long was the nail person and he admitted to her because I was with her they made her wait on purpose. Stated they all were talking about me being in the shop and with her so they decided to make her wait. Then lied about it being a superstition for the guy to come. Yet I seen them giving a guy a pedi. I'm black and my wife is white, this is blatant racism. We will never ever go back and will spread the word this is a racist ass shop. read more
