I go here every 2-3 weeks for gel manicures and pedicures. I think I have had appointments with all of the technicians by now. They are all very good and they are all very nice to talk to. The salon is informal but don't think they take walk-ins, it is appointment only I believe. There is a nice variety of colors to choose from OPI and DND brands. I like that I can pay and tip with Venmo. read more

This place is wonderful!! I've been going to Sugarcoat to get mani pedis since I was a little girl, and I still come to get my nails done in the summertime and for my important events! Alissa is AWESOME! She does incredible work, and is so easy to talk to! She does my pedicures and Gel X nails, and her work is consistently amazing. Prices are reasonable as well, especially for the high quality of work. Totally would recommend! read more

My wax appointment was prompt and friendly. Brows look nice. I wish the wax room would have been cleaner, gloves, towels, and a hat were scattered on the massage table when I came back. The staff was polite, price was reasonable. Will probably come back since it's so close to my house, but I wouldn't go out of the way to get here. read more

I've been going to this salon for awhile and have always loved it! The salon is very cozy, and the nail techs are so friendly you feel like you've known them for forever! I tried a few other salons just because they are a bit closer to home and was not satisfied at all. I will be sticking to Sugarcoat from now and take the extra 20 minute drive. Great spot for a treat for yourself. Everyone was nice, equipment was clean, and prices were reasonable. All the staff speak english, I didn't feel like I was being sold on unnecessary services. Called and sent an appointment for 5:30. Got there early (4:30) and I was taken care of right away. Also, the Polish was applied right up to the base of my nails, which I've gone to other salons and they didn't not get this close. This is my new go-to salon! read more

Love this salon! I just moved to the area from Queens and wanted to get a pedicure so badly. I found Sugarcoat and couldn't have been happier. They take walk ins of course as well as appointments. When I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist immediately. I did notice they were busy however I understood why. Every customer had a smile on their face if they were either talking to the nail technician or another random customer. Everyone here is so kind and friendly and the technicians really care about their customers. I waited maybe 10 minutes or less. Coming back this week to get a manicure! read more

Came for a pedicure with my sister on a hot Wednesday afternoon around 2:15, no appointment. They were relatively busy but there were a few empty seats at pedi and mani stations. No one else was waiting. A polite man told us to sign in. After looking at the schedule and conferring with one of the women employees he said we'd have a 10 minute wait. Was closer to 20 minutes. That's ok. Once seated I was quickly attended to by Maria (saw on here she's the owner but I didn't know at the time. In retrospect makes sense.) I was very happy with everything. Cuticle and clippers appeared to come from a newly sanitized packet. Maria was friendly and down to earth, gave me a great foot massage and callous scrubbing and all aspects of the pedicure in my opinion very good. Tidy and meticulous. This salon has great reviews so I thought I gave it a try. I had a decent experience when I was there except that the women doing my nails complained to me that she was staying late to do my nails. This was a scheduled appt...it's not like I just showed up. so if they don't want to stay until 6 for an appt then don't schedule it. I got a pedi and gel mani for a wedding 2 days away. Gel has always lasted me 2 weeks. This gel mani started chipping off 2 days later and I had chunks of polish missing by the time I went to the wedding. I sent an email and never heard back. I wanted to stop in but I didn't have time. Just thought I would share my experience. read more

This is the best salon in the area. They aren't rushing to get through as many clients as they can in a day. They hold conversations with you the entire time and make you feel welcome the whole time. The man that helped me in the front was very funny and nice. The lady that did my nails was nice as well. I have it a 3 cause I don't think it's very clean. After I got a pedicure I noticed no one washed out the tub. They did drain the water. But refilled it and someone else used it. I have just started going to Sugarcoat regularly for gel manicures and pedicures after trying MANY MANY other places. This place is the best no matter who does your nails. They all very pleasant and engaging, their prices are very reasonable and their pedicures are amazing even the express! They take appts. every day except Friday and Saturday, which is great and when you do a walk-in and there is any kind of significant wait they take your number and will call you so you don't have to sit around. read more

This place has only been open 2.5 years and is a little hidden in the shopping center. Definitely call ahead since they are constantly packed. Sugarcoat Nail Salon provides clients impeccable service. Jill is amazing for gel manicures and pedicures; every service I have gotten from her has been perfect. Everyone is so nice and very talented. I am extremely picky when it comes to my nail salons but this one passes every test. They have many different services so if you want a pedicure but don't want to spend a fortune there are less expensive options, like the "Sugar Rush" Pedicure. But if you want to treat yourself and splurge there are amazing options to chose from like the "Sugar Heel-Lalujah" pedicure. If you go on a Monday or Tuesday and enjoy massages-there is a woman who gives the BEST massages if you choose to get one. They are very reasonably priced and it is the best massage I have ever had. Overall, I've found Sugarcoat to be the best in the area, my gel manicure lasts 2 full weeks (no chipping!) and Jill is so sweet and talented. read more
