I will preface this review with the following: -I have always had lash envy of others including guys.. -I have never been able to bat my lashes EVER -I have tried all kinds of serums and mascaras to assist me in the growing of m y lashes I purchased a living social deal for a signature set of eyelash extensions. You had to call and book an appt in advance so I scheduled myself for 12 noon. The location is a little hard to find if you aren't familiar with Hockessin. I had to call twice to get more accurate directions I don't venture out that way too often and the receptionist was super nice and got me there a little later than my appointment. Dawn came out to do a consultation about the process including what she would be doing and how long it would take. After removing my mascara and washing my face I went back into the room laid down on a table and then the process begun. Each lash is applied with a special adhesive individually the complete process takes about an hour and half but I ended up falling asleep halfway through (your eyes are closed during the entire process). It's recommended that you have the extensions refilled every 3-4 weeks and it takes about an hour to do. I am very happy with the results and will continue to have the extensions done. read more

The staff is kind and the atmosphere is clean and nice. The one thing that bugged me was I went there not knowing you cannot tip on your credit card there. Have you ever entered one of those salons where they immediately make you feel welcome? This is NOT one of those! From the moment I met the woman who would be doing my eyelash extensions, I was given the impression that she was doing me a favor. Her manner was elitist and unfriendly and to top it off, after spending close to $200, 90% of the extensions fell off within 3 days. The first time I went and had eyelash extensions done with Trisha wasn't too bad. She did seem upset that my eye lid was moving some and I tried as hard as I could to keep my eyelids still but when they're shining a bright light over head into your eye it's kind of hard to do. We got through it and she did the Demi lashes. They only lasted 2 weeks and they were going in all different directions. It may have been my fault because I wore an eye mask to bed. The second time I came back I decided to go with the full set and upgrade and I had Tricia again. She seem to be doing okay and didn't complain about my eyelid moving but towards the end she did mention it and I apologized and said I would try to hold still better. At the end of the session she said you probably need to come back in a couple of weeks because the first set didn't hold up that well and she also said she was going to put on my chart Twitchy eyelid girl. She also told me that if I was to reschedule and she wasn't available to just go with someone else. I had a feeling she was trying to push me off on someone else because of my eyelid moving. I thought that was totally unprofessional and uncalled for. I had apologized to her about my eyelid moving and I also asked her if I'm the only person that that happens to and she told me no. I tipped her extremely well both times I went but I won't be going back. If she can handle the profession and what goes with it including people's eyelid moving because there are ALIVE!!! well then she shouldn't be in the business read more

After having several good experiences with their lash extensions I find I can no longer recommend Lasting Looks. My last two fills were uneven. One eye looked much fuller than the other.The first time I went back and they added more lashes to make my eyes look even. However, even though they added lashes the stylist said she did not notice any difference and the problem was mine. Same problem last week. I went in for a fill, I had booked a one hour appointment. The stylist spent just 25 minutes on my lashes and said they were full. Once home in better light, I could see again there were much more lashes on my right eye than my left eye. I called once again to complain and the manager/owner advised me again the problem was mine, I was too picky. I will be now, I will pick a better place to get my extensions. Hopefully one with much better customer service! read more
