I visited MA Nails for the first time in search of relief for my nails. They are brittle and break easily and I really wanted them to start looking nice again. The previous shop I went to was quite a distance way but I liked my nail tech so I kept going. She moved away and I let my nails go. I didn't have an appointment but I was greeted right away and the nice lady at the front desk said they could get me in even though it was already after 5 p.m. on a Thursday. I looked through the gel color books and found a nice pale pink that I liked (I will work my way up to bolder colors eventually). Liam was my nail tech and he listened to what I wanted (not too long and rounded off squared shape) and did an excellent job. They were smooth as glass when he was done and the lotion, hand massage and hot towel were the perfect finish for the experience. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Liam! read more

I was visiting a friend and my nails were in really bad shape. I asked my friend for a recommendation. This was the salon she recommended. Think they are also known as Ma Nails. I looked up the reviews and made a reservation the same day. I do gel poIish and decided to get my brows done too. Le or Lee was my technician, she did a great job. 10 days later my nails look like they were just done After multiple home improvement projects, never chipped. I went in because I was having a really stressful day. As a single mother i haven't had my nails and toes done in idk how long but decided I would treat myself this day. when I go in the man tells "pick out a color" so I did. I sat to get a pedicure and full set. The pedicure was great however when they realized I had picked out regular nail polish instead of gel they informed me and then gave me a bunch of books and nail colors to choose from That were gel colors. After looking through all the gel colors and not finding the shade k wanted I told them I would stick with regular this time. They kept and when I mean kept putting colors in my face and asking me over fifteen times to choose a gel Color and I kindly refused and kept telling them I couldn't find this particular shade in gel and no thank you repeatedly. I then went to the chair to get my nails done and the tech started painting my nails a gel color k specifically told them I didn't want at this point I was starting to get irritated bc I had already told them no other fifteen times. And they didn't go with what I wanted but Thier own choice so I told them again no it's not he correct color please just stick with the colors I had chosen. They then go on to talk in Chinese about me not Knowing I have spoken and understand the language for over twenty years bc my adopted cousins are from china. The lady next to me even asked why they talk in another language in front of us bc it's rude and seems deceitful. They then went on to give me a manicure with the lotion and hot towels even after I told her not to. When my nails were completed the shape was horrible the lady who was doing my nails was so tough she cut me over three times and was super rude all bc k didn't want gel. Needless to I will never return to This nail salon. They ruined my whole relaxation experience and I had to go home take the polish off and refile and repaint them myself anyway. I felt so judged and didn't even get what I wanted as far as the nail design ext bc the shape and paint were so bad. read more

I get my nails done every 2 weeks at this nail salon and I never have any issues! They always greet you when you walk in and do a great job. I make appointments with Kim. She is the best. She can free-hand any kind of design on your nail that you want. She is good at what she does and enjoys it. I will not go anywhere else. The prices are reasonable and they have plenty of staff. Kim is awesome. She takes her time with my nails and makes sure that they are perfect. Do you want to get in and out of somewhere quick? This is not the place to go. They take their time with you. You're not going to get a 15 minute toe job, you're going to get a thorough massage and foot experience That will get you started on a beautiful day. I am really picky about my nails so for me to write a review like this is meaningful. Also, she does her best to try and stay on time. I hardly ever get my nails done, but I usually always treat myself to a mani pedi before my vacation. I had a regular polish pedi and gel mani. Although the staff is nice, my gel manicure looks horrible and started lifting after only TWO DAYS! I think it might be because she didn't even push my cuticles back even a little bit. It didn't even feel like a manicure, just a gel polish application.my pedicure doesnt look great either. My big toe isn't all the way covered with the nail polish and she got polish on one of my little toes around the nail. It's just so frustrating bc I wait all year to treat myself, there's a million other mail solaoms o could have went to and worst of all wasted $60. I'll never go back now. read more
