I love this place! The service is top tier amongst nail salons. I always walk in and immediately greeted and asked what service I will be getting that day. The salon is beautiful, the technicians are professional, which makes me feel relaxed & comfortable enough to enjoy my experience there. The ambiance of the salon is great and the service is quick and speedy as there are a lot of techs in the salon. I wasn't offered a drink or any of the extra amenities that they show on tik tok. The real - my actual nails themselves came out subpar and I was charged 30$ more than quoted... even after confirming throughout my appointment. $43 Gel fill $15 French Somehow came to $75.19 ??? When asking for an explanation she said she had to shape them better and she used acrylic to fill my nails. Which isn't acrylic used for a fill? I get my nails done regularly and am never one to go back and forth about prices - this was just unacceptable. Clearly my nails are not done with powder as you can see in the picture they are chunky with gel paint. Not a great experience. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I paid full price even though I only wanted half of the service. Which would've been fine if the parts that were done were of a high standard. I like the thinness and cemetery of pharmacy nails, so I just went to have my cuticles done and my nail surface buffed out. Typically I love this place but the last two times I have been there has been extremely disappointing. I have engagement pictures this weekend, so I treated myself to a hot stone pedicure. The lady barely used the hot stones even though it says it on the sheet for a specific amount of time. Then, when she went to paint my toes she did the sloppiest job ever. She got the polish all over my skin and missed some of the nail on my toes. I tried to explain to her what I didn't like and she kept yelling okay at me not even listening to what I had to say. When I sat down to dry, someone else came over to try and fix it but all she did was repaint over what the other lady did. I left extremely upset and wasn't even offered a discount to make up for what looked like a child painted my toes. Im taking a trip to New Orleans so I decided to make an appointment with TLz to get some mani. Pedi love. First off I wanna say my nails turned out great and I wasn't disappointed. I enjoy my nails they look beautiful. I love when a nail tech can match what I ask for. The only disappointment was the. 30min wait with a scheduled appointment. I do enjoy the fact that I was offered beverages during the pedicure because that for sure helped me relax. I was given a cup of red wine in a plastic cup when others were provided with long stem glasses, that was a disappointment. Im al for equality. I stopped by on a Tuesday night to get my nails done. Upon walking in, I was greeted right away, which was nice. I asked for an overlay fill, and the employees began talking in another language. Although I couldn't understand them, their body language suggested they were trying to decide who would take me. I ended up standing there for about five minutes as they went back and forth. Go somewhere else! I really want to like this place. I've been there 3 times and each experience worse than the last. It's a beautiful atmosphere and very appealing advertising but some of the nail technicians just don't know what they are doing and the manager sees no problem with it. They just tell you what they think you want to hear and mess up your nails because they can't do what you're asking for and/or didn't understand. Then when you say something they quickly get upset, raise their voices and roll their eyes. 2/3 of my techs I had to tell to take a breath because they were visibly angry at me for asking questions about my nail! The customer service is horrible. I'm not a confrontational person but there's only so much I can take. And don't even get me started on the waits (which I have been walk ins but still It's ridiculous and I'm upset.) UPDATE: it's Monday this happened on Saturday and on Sunday morning I realized the gel nail polish (by the way I asked for dip, I ended up with half clear dips with black painted over it because apparently asking for black dip isn't clear enough and I needed to be more clear about what I wanted) wasn't dry. Went to TLZ Nails on Churchmans Road in Newark De on Sunday 6/1/25. My friend and I wanted a relaxing pedicure. We sat next to one another, me getting gel nails ($52.00)and a classic ($35.00). She asked about her heels and I also asked that I have heels scrubbed. My tech was drying my feel off while my friend was still having her feet in the water and having a foot massage. I mentioned not having a massage he gave a 2 minute courtesy massage and left while my friend was still being worked on. I went to pay and realized he charged me $7.00 to buff my heels. total charge $61.00 incl service fee to use my credit card. handed him a $20 and asked for a $10.00 back. I decided to drive down to DE and get a pedicure with my sister. We were excited to try a new place since we saw all the cool videos on IG. I definitely think we were catfished! LOL! The interior is decorated nicely but the service was lackluster. We reserved their "private room" for the pedis and since our technicians did not speak any english they could not verify if we were getting the private room- that was a lil frustrating because we were in just an open pedi room- not a private room:( Although, the pedi chairs were nice and comfortable, so that was a plus. On the other hand, my pedi technician didnt seem like she knew what she was doing at all. She was on the phone the whole time and provided a haphazard service. My polish looks like my baby neice did it. She poked me twice with the nippers, and the foot/ calf massage was kinda painful, not relaxing at all. At the end when were about to check out, the man at the front decided to ignore us and help people just walking in. I definitely did not like that. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a change in management that has impacted the quality of the customer service experience. Specifically, I've scheduled service and have shown up and there has been no evidence that I had an appointment. They, last week I was told that Michael was ready to do my refill and when I got there, he was just starting another patron. Michael in wonderful. I go to him for refills. Every time. Finally, today, after another fantastic pedicure from Tommy, the receptionist at the front desk (dark hair, green eyes), was rude. I believe her name was Roxanna. I was waiting to pay. She barely made eye contact. She continued to talk to team members. I told her I wanted to offer her some feedback. Even while I gave her feedback about how she was engaging, she continued to be rude. I told her so and told her that as a customer I should not have to wait while she talks to other team members. I also told her that while a customer is speaking to her, she should focus on them. Today was my first visit to your salon. I'm from out of town and decided to get my nails filled there. I checked in and selected service. My nails were done. When I went to pay, the rice was more than $10 over what I'd expected. I asked the nail technician. She said that it was because I had my nails shaped. The problem is that she'd asked and suggested it, but never said it would be an additional cost. I believe in transparency. This should've been mentioned at the time of service rather than afterwards. Moreover, when she'd made the suggestion, she should've said it would be an additional amount. I am always skeptical when trying new nail salons especially in a new area. Not to mention I'm very particular when it comes to my nails! What can I say, a girl likes as close to perfection as she can get. (We all know nothing is ever perfect) Any who, despite the reviews I saw on here, the reviews on google were a bit more promising and convinced me a to go for it. It's located in a strip mall which means plenty of parking. Though the outside doesn't shout anything fabulous, once inside it's a totally different story. Well designed, clean and spacious. I want to say about 10 nail station reside behind the sitting area/desk and the pedicure room has about 8 chairs. The staff was friendly, and I was greeted and helped right away. Unfortunately I didn't get my technicians name, she did a great job. I monitored EVERY step and thing she did. She didn't become frustrated or did it make her uncomfortable. Not once did I have to correct anything she did.i loved her process and my end product was AMAZING!
