I love this place! The service is top tier amongst nail salons. I always walk in and immediately greeted and asked what service I will be getting that day. The salon is beautiful, the technicians are professional, which makes me feel relaxed & comfortable enough to enjoy my experience there. The prices are a little on the high end, but worth it in my opinion. The icing is the drink they offer with each service. They do not water down their drinks either. I can't say enough good things about this place! read more

I used to LOVEEEEEEE this place but the last two times I got my nails done, I was very dissatisfied! I have very long nails so it takes extra time and they're my nails. I just get an overlay. within one week I had a nail lifting. I decided to give them another shot and unfortunately working two weeks most of my nails on the right hand were lifting and the thumb that I had the previous issue with lifting was again lifting. I was away on vacation so I was unable to get back in there until today. you can look at my nails and see that I'm not due for a fill. CathI, wh o is the nail tech, was there but didn't come out so the guy who sits next to her "fixed" my nail. not only was it the wrong color but it was streaky and lumpy. once he was done I left. The manager came running outside calling me, ma'am, ma'am, there's a fee for a repair. I asked how was I going to be charged for something that was clearly the techs fault. she's doing something wrong with her application or something. I've been growing my nails for 6 years and have never had these issues. she then informed me that they have policy that you have to get a fill every two weeks or they're not responsible. Who does that??? I've never gotten my nails done that frequently. Long story made short I was charged $12 for something that wasn't my fault and even the repair needs to be repaired. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!! Not to mention that I hardly ever spend under $100 for my nails and I ALWAYS tip above and beyond! Customer service is key and once you loose that with me, you've lost me.... nice place but customer service overall has gone down the drain, unfortunately. If you want somebody to design your nails then Cathy is the girl But you can't refuse to come out to fix your work and you definitely can't charge people for something out of their control. Even after the manager saw the nail wasn't correct she still didn't take down on me being charged. She said if you have to tell him, normally I Spillane but today I was on a tight time schedule, but you shouldn't have to tell a tech Joe to do their job. I almost feel like he messed my nail up so I wouldn't come back; well he got his wish. Again, I'm not new to this place!!!!! That makes it worse. RUN DON'T GO HERE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! read more

The ambiance of the salon is great and the service is quick and speedy as there are a lot of techs in the salon. I wasn't offered a drink or any of the extra amenities that they show on tik tok. The real - my actual nails themselves came out subpar and I was charged 30$ more than quoted... even after confirming throughout my appointment. $43 Gel fill $15 French Somehow came to $75.19 ??? When asking for an explanation she said she had to shape them better and she used acrylic to fill my nails. Which isn't acrylic used for a fill? I get my nails done regularly and am never one to go back and forth about prices - this was just unacceptable. Clearly my nails are not done with powder as you can see in the picture they are chunky with gel paint. Not a great experience. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I didn't receive a pedicure and manicure worthy of the high prices. The cuticles look dry and the polish does not look professional on my fingers or toes. I will have to take it off. They offer wine and drinks? I wasn't even offered a glass of water. read more

I paid full price even though I only wanted half of the service. Which would've been fine if the parts that were done were of a high standard. I like the thinness and cemetery of pharmacy nails, so I just went to have my cuticles done and my nail surface buffed out. The nail surface was still uneven, one of my nails split and didn't get trimmed off, there was still some dirt under one of my nails, and I got cut. The environment was relaxing and beautiful. Stunning really I was amazed, but the hostess wasn't even particularly nice. She wasn't mean, but she didn't smile or greet me either. It was less than a read more

Typically I love this place but the last two times I have been there has been extremely disappointing. I have engagement pictures this weekend, so I treated myself to a hot stone pedicure. The lady barely used the hot stones even though it says it on the sheet for a specific amount of time. Then, when she went to paint my toes she did the sloppiest job ever. She got the polish all over my skin and missed some of the nail on my toes. I tried to explain to her what I didn't like and she kept yelling okay at me not even listening to what I had to say. When I sat down to dry, someone else came over to try and fix it but all she did was repaint over what the other lady did. I left extremely upset and wasn't even offered a discount to make up for what looked like a child painted my toes. I'm really upset that I will probably need to go somewhere else and get my toes cleaned up. read more

5 stars all the way.... Amazing gel stone pedicure and gel mani! Service was easy to book and I didn't wait long.

Im taking a trip to New Orleans so I decided to make an appointment with TLz to get some mani. Pedi love. First off I wanna say my nails turned out great and I wasn't disappointed. I enjoy my nails they look beautiful. I love when a nail tech can match what I ask for. The only disappointment was the. 30min wait with a scheduled appointment. I do enjoy the fact that I was offered beverages during the pedicure because that for sure helped me relax. I was given a cup of red wine in a plastic cup when others were provided with long stem glasses, that was a disappointment. Im al for equality. Other than the wait and wine glass issue everything else was perfect. I recommend bringing cash to save. I am looking forward to going back for my fill in. Thanks Candy!! Awesome job read more

I stopped by on a Tuesday night to get my nails done. Upon walking in, I was greeted right away, which was nice. I asked for an overlay fill, and the employees began talking in another language. Although I couldn't understand them, their body language suggested they were trying to decide who would take me. I ended up standing there for about five minutes as they went back and forth. Eventually, I decided to leave without being serviced. As a first-time guest, it wasn't the welcome I was hoping for; it felt as though they weren't interested in doing my nails. read more

Go somewhere else! I really want to like this place. I've been there 3 times and each experience worse than the last. It's a beautiful atmosphere and very appealing advertising but some of the nail technicians just don't know what they are doing and the manager sees no problem with it. They just tell you what they think you want to hear and mess up your nails because they can't do what you're asking for and/or didn't understand. Then when you say something they quickly get upset, raise their voices and roll their eyes. 2/3 of my techs I had to tell to take a breath because they were visibly angry at me for asking questions about my nail! The customer service is horrible. I'm not a confrontational person but there's only so much I can take. And don't even get me started on the waits (which I have been walk ins but still It's ridiculous and I'm upset.) UPDATE: it's Monday this happened on Saturday and on Sunday morning I realized the gel nail polish (by the way I asked for dip, I ended up with half clear dips with black painted over it because apparently asking for black dip isn't clear enough and I needed to be more clear about what I wanted) wasn't dry. Anyways go to Zen nails instead. read more

Went to TLZ Nails on Churchmans Road in Newark De on Sunday 6/1/25. My friend and I wanted a relaxing pedicure. We sat next to one another, me getting gel nails ($52.00)and a classic ($35.00). She asked about her heels and I also asked that I have heels scrubbed. My tech was drying my feel off while my friend was still having her feet in the water and having a foot massage. I mentioned not having a massage he gave a 2 minute courtesy massage and left while my friend was still being worked on. I went to pay and realized he charged me $7.00 to buff my heels. total charge $61.00 incl service fee to use my credit card. handed him a $20 and asked for a $10.00 back. He CRUMBLED the $10.00 bill and jammed it in my hand!! will NEVER go back and will share this experience frequenly read more

I decided to drive down to DE and get a pedicure with my sister. We were excited to try a new place since we saw all the cool videos on IG. I definitely think we were catfished! LOL! The interior is decorated nicely but the service was lackluster. We reserved their "private room" for the pedis and since our technicians did not speak any english they could not verify if we were getting the private room- that was a lil frustrating because we were in just an open pedi room- not a private room:( Although, the pedi chairs were nice and comfortable, so that was a plus. On the other hand, my pedi technician didnt seem like she knew what she was doing at all. She was on the phone the whole time and provided a haphazard service. My polish looks like my baby neice did it. She poked me twice with the nippers, and the foot/ calf massage was kinda painful, not relaxing at all. At the end when were about to check out, the man at the front decided to ignore us and help people just walking in. I definitely did not like that. Overall, I would not recommend and I did NOT enjoy my very expensive but awful pedicure. Thumbs down!:( read more

I had a good experience previously but this time I had a man do my pedicure and for what I paid (which seemed pricey) the nails are all wonky, different lengths, the polish isn't even, the side of my foot seemed to be exfoliated to hard and is now scraped up and he even sliced the tip of my toe when filing. Definitely won't be returning after this experience. read more

First time at this nail salon. I was so pleased Amy did a great job. Love the color I choose. I definitely will be back.

The service from just entering the building was unsatisfactory. I sat in the chair for 30 min before anyone even acknowledged me after making an appointment for a pedicure. As I started to pack my things up to leave someone came over to attempt to provide service, I respectfully declined and let them know why. I refuse to spend my money anywhere that I'm not treated with respect and with even just the slightest bit of professionalism. Sad because it's a beautiful salon and thats what caught my eye. read more

Should have just stayed away. Inconsistent experience every time I'm in. This place charges top dollar for a manicure my toddler could have done better. Now I know that's not every tech, I've had good ones which why I came back but the least they can do is get name tags so customers know who to request and who to not request. read more

Service was great & Maria was Outstanding. I definitely will be back. I got the VIP pedicure & it was the best pedicure I ever had.

I adore Tommy. He is exceptional! Kind. Patient. Innovative. Personable. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a change in management that has impacted the quality of the customer service experience. Specifically, I've scheduled service and have shown up and there has been no evidence that I had an appointment. They, last week I was told that Michael was ready to do my refill and when I got there, he was just starting another patron. Michael in wonderful. I go to him for refills. Every time. Finally, today, after another fantastic pedicure from Tommy, the receptionist at the front desk (dark hair, green eyes), was rude. I believe her name was Roxanna. I was waiting to pay. She barely made eye contact. She continued to talk to team members. I told her I wanted to offer her some feedback. Even while I gave her feedback about how she was engaging, she continued to be rude. I told her so and told her that as a customer I should not have to wait while she talks to other team members. I also told her that while a customer is speaking to her, she should focus on them. I told her that I love going to TLZ but that the customer service at the front desk has become disappointing. read more

ambience is gorgeous service is good. (Waited 30-45 min On a Saturday afternoon) drinks could be better, if I'm being picky. I am always skeptical when trying new nail salons especially in a new area. Not to mention I'm very particular when it comes to my nails! What can I say, a girl likes as close to perfection as she can get. (We all know nothing is ever perfect) Any who, despite the reviews I saw on here, the reviews on google were a bit more promising and convinced me a to go for it. It's located in a strip mall which means plenty of parking. Though the outside doesn't shout anything fabulous, once inside it's a totally different story. Well designed, clean and spacious. I want to say about 10 nail station reside behind the sitting area/desk and the pedicure room has about 8 chairs. The staff was friendly, and I was greeted and helped right away. Unfortunately I didn't get my technicians name, she did a great job. I monitored EVERY step and thing she did. She didn't become frustrated or did it make her uncomfortable. Not once did I have to correct anything she did.i loved her process and my end product was AMAZING! (She sat in the last station, on the right) Not to mention she DID not cut, scrap or file/dig into my skin. We've all been there. Much appreciated. I will be returning here again in the future! Thank you for a peaceful and enjoyable experience. @thejonesdiary on IG UNTIL NEXT REVIEW read more

Today was my first visit to your salon. I'm from out of town and decided to get my nails filled there. I checked in and selected service. My nails were done. When I went to pay, the rice was more than $10 over what I'd expected. I asked the nail technician. She said that it was because I had my nails shaped. The problem is that she'd asked and suggested it, but never said it would be an additional cost. I believe in transparency. This should've been mentioned at the time of service rather than afterwards. Moreover, when she'd made the suggestion, she should've said it would be an additional amount. I'm not pleased and would not recommend to others. Other than that, the ambiance is pleasant and setting beautiful. read more
