Unfortunately I have been going here since I moved to the area and it's gone down hill.. prices aren't consistent every time I go in the price changes I have spent a good amount of time here and have spent some good money but the massage chairs aren't strong has they were..as well as my nails I feel like they rush you and use the sander more then the product which leaves your nails soooo thin.. I moved to West Chester 3 years ago, prior to moving this was my go to for pedicures. Since, I have tried multiple business near my new home and I am unable to find the same service I was used to. Never again. I'm convinced the woman who did my nails didn't know how to paint nails. I waited over 20 minutes past my appointment time. My gel nails are bumpy and I currently have top coat all over the beds of my fingernails. Not worth the $30. There's so many better places in the area. read more

You will really enjoy having your nails done here! I recommend the spa pedicure. However, one thing I did not like, at all, was their lack of professionalism. By that, I mean, while doing both pedicures and manicures they all gossip constantly in a different language and you can't help but feel like it's you they're giggling about. I think it's rude. This is the main nail salon I go to now. Katy always does an immaculate job on my nails and goes above and beyond with her service. They have upgraded the chairs recently and the new ones include a USB port in case you need to charge your phone as well as more massage options. On the few occasions Katy has been away I have yet to run into anyone who hasn't taken their time and done a fantastic job. The basic pedicures last for about 45 mins (they actually take their time while giving a massage) & they have a buffer that they use after the massage that leaves your legs silky smooth. Walking through the front door and was pleasently surprised on how bright and moden the inside was. I was immediatley greeted by one of the employees and then directed to the wall to pick my color. One of the absolute worst nail salons I have ever been to. I have a favorite salon (Zyng Nail Salon) that I love but since I was only getting my acrylic tips soaked off I went here. I think they may have spoken two words to me in English? I asked for a soak off and he basically ripped the tips and acrylic off of my nails with a nail tip. There was a wet washcloth already on the table where he did my nails and he didn't pick it up. Yuck! My nail did grow while I was wearing the acrylic but, he basically ripped my nails apart. This is one of THE WORST nail places in Delaware that I have ever been to. I can't even call it a nail salon. My advice is to stay far away from this place as possible. read more

It is time to update my review. Unfortunately after my last experience I think it's time to break up with this nail shop. I've been coming here for about 2 years now. I used to get my nails done with Jenny and had consistent service. Jenny left a few months ago and there's new management now, so I had to try someone else. The girl who seems to be the manager did them the first time and I liked how she did them and provided good service. The next time I wanted her to do my manicure again, but she assigned me to someone else instead although she wasn't doing anyone else's nails. I was satisfied enough with the guy who did them so I returned again. The service has started to become rushed and less friendly as time has gone on. My last time was the last straw. I was treating my aunt to a pedicure and the older woman who did it was terrible. First she kept trying to pressure us into getting the spa pedicure which is $20 more, we declined and she brought it up again 10 minutes later. She said that nail polish my aunt picked was going to be too translucent, so we asked her if she could suggest a similar color that would be darker. She declined to help or bring over the sample of colors so my aunt had to get up mid pedicure and walk over to pick out a new nail polish. Meanwhile the girl who was doing my pedicure was trying to get out of doing mine to do someone else's manicure. I don't understand that. There are a few people who do a satisfactory job, but none have truly shined for me, the attention to detail and good service is gone. read more

I've been going to this Nail salon for years everything has been good for years until now I went in for a pedicure and it was one of the worst experiences of my life he was rude he didn't say not one word to me he was rough he didn't use cuticle remover he didn't use callus remover he didn't use lotion he was rough and he cut me he even scratched me with the exfoliate her cause he was pressing so hard. I stumbled across this nail salon by searching the area through Yelp and chose the salon because of it's rating. I can say with full satisfaction this is a superb nail salon. I was greeted kindly and escorted to the back for my pedicure which was thoroughly done. One of my favorite things was that the tools that were used were each surgically cleaned and properly packaged instead of sitting out in the open or in alcohol. For once it didn't feel like I was rushed through a pedicure just so the technician could move onto the next person and make more money. It was at least 30 minutes long and was beautifully done! I also had a manicure done and was very satisfied, my polish stayed on my nails for longer than 24 hours. This was my first time going and I had loved it at first, called made my appointment for my full set with gel polish and pedicure and when I got there they took me back right away. I fell in love with their gel color options, by far the most I've ever seen and prayed this salon would be good, I needed a new regular spot. The pedicure was good, no complaints the back massage was Everything. But that all changed when I went to get my nails done, the lady was nice at first. I showed her this gold color that I wanted and she said she didn't have it but could make something like it.... I was startled when she put silver on my nails but she promised this was how she got the gold color before and she knows what she's doing so I let her get to it. She then preceded to put a yellow gold on top of the silver, nothing like I wanted. But when I told her she got an attitude and argued with me, and then wouldn't even let me see any of the other golds there was, telling me to go get it myself..... never have I ever experienced the lack of customer service in my life. And I've worked in customer service for 6 years. the manager finally had to get involved but as I'm trying to tell the manager what's going on the nail tech is yelling at her in their language and hits my hand. Which causes the manager to send her away, I show the manager the picture of the color I want and turns out they Do have it so she does it for me. Very irregular hours; they frequently are not open during their posted and advertised hours. If you manage to get in, they don't remove caluses very well for pedicures, they trim the sides of your toenails, which can cause ingrown toenails, and my cuticles always look a mess after manicures. I started with beautiful thick eyebrows, I don't ever have to fill them in there just naturally on fleek. I went slight touch up and they completely destroyed them. The lady didn't listen to what I asked her to do and on top that they don't even speak English to you. She knew she messed up because she kept looking at them while she was doing my nails. I've been going to Bella for years, and have received some amazing mani/pedis from some very friendly salon techs, but my experience there the last two times there have been so bad, it's time to find a new salon. My last gel manicure began to bubble before I even got home, and was so bad the next day, I had to return and have the entire manicure done over. But it was my last visit that made me decide to go elsewhere. My scheduled appointment was completely disregarded, I had to wait 30 minutes before anyone could take me, and then played musical chairs while being passed off to 3 different technicians, one of whom was ranting to her co-workers in Vietnamese for a good 5 minutes while gesturing in my direction and another waiting customer's direction. And that poor woman was ignored for another 30 minutes while they took walk-ins that came in after her. I feel like I'm losing a good friend, but the level of service has become so bad, it's not worth spending my money there anymore. read more

I went because someone gave me a gift card to Bella Nails. From the moment I walked in I wondered if it was safe, and by safe I mean clean and properly sterilized. I decided to try it anyway. I asked for a full set. The man who did my nails was extremely rough. He asked me a few questions about what I wanted but even the small amount of communication was unfriendly. I left with cuts around my nails, bruises under my cuticles and sloppy, uneven nails. I have never heard of a place that charged and extra $5 to paint white tips onto the nails. Not a full paint, just to make it look like a french manicure. Even the paint was messy. The nails were crooked and not smooth. They all had bumps in the acrylic and looked pathetic. I would never recommend this nail salon to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I still cant believe I wasn't sent out with a script for antibiotics. Oh and they are seriously selling old bottles of seperated nail polish for $8 a bottle. Nasty. read more

Worst customer service EVER!!! I had my nails done with Shellac -- two days after having my nails done, the paint on my nails was chipping so bad on more then 4 nails. I went in and told the "MANAGER" about it. She cut me off and said to come back at 6. When I got there, she screamed across the salon that I would have to wait in the rudest voice possible embarrassing me in front the other customers. I told her I wanted a refund because I wasn't coming back again and she screamed that they don't give refunds. Another staff member came over to me and said she would soak my nails while she finished another clients. She was very sweet. The girl who actually did my nails was messy and sloppy and rushed. The "MANAGER" was the shortest, tiniest one in there with the biggest bitchy attitude. I've been here a couple times for different services including gel polish change, eyebrow waxing, and pedicures. I enjoyed the manicure and pedicure gel and my first eyebrow wax with Jenny. She did great job and I'm satisfied with her. At first I didn't know you can request the person who does your services, until I ask. The location is very convenient for me so I returned every 2-3 weeks ask for Jenny. She is very sweet and did a nice design. They open a fresh pack of sterilized tools for each pedicure and lined the bowls. Hygiene is a must for a pedicure for me so big thumbs up there. They can improve upon their color selections in OPI regular polishes. They have a good selection gel. I can recommend everyone to come here. For those, who have not been here you should start to come here. Everything is clean and nice. You can alway make appointments to the person you like. Is very convenient for everything.
