I come here for waxing and they always do a great job. My only complaint is that the waxing room's door doesn't open all the way and I have a prosthetic leg, which means I have to turn sideways and side step through the door. If they could fix that it'd be 5 stars for sure! read more

I get terrible migraines and I was worried that I would get one because it does smell like other mail salons, but it must have been more well ventilated than I thought, because I didn't even get a headache. These are my fingers 7 days after I got my nails done here. My fingers have been peeling for a week since the chemical burns... buckle up. I was at the salon for a bridal party where my cousin was the bride. I've had fake nails since I was 16. When I got there I asked for a new dip set and a pedicure. I soaked my fingers and started my pedicure. My pedicure was great! But after an hour my hands were BURNING and I begged to have the soak gloves removed, which were eventually removed with attitude. I asked for round nails (I was told they're not pretty) and when I asked for tips I was told I don't need them. My nails looked awful for the wedding but after 3 hours for our group a day before the wedding I left unhappy. The lady who did my nails was not only rude but impatient. read more

Tried this place since my usual place can never take walk-ins anymore, it seem. At Diamond, I didn't have to wait, which is clutch. The place has a lovely atmosphere with an array of services to choose from! They also offer you water, which is nice. Regular pedi was $25, included nice exfoliant, massage and hot towels (which I'm seeing more and more as an extra cost now at places!) Manager or owner was greeting people and seems to remember his regulars; they all seemed very happy to see him. Love this place! I was here a few weeks ago when I was visiting my sister. Location wise it is a little farther than the salon I normally go to when I'm in town, but definitely worth it! Everything is new, clean, and the staff seems really friendly and helpful. After their grand reopening, my sister went and ever since then has gushed about how great it is. My sister is one of those really picky, annoying customers. She usually goes in not knowing what she wants, takes forever to decide, and changes her mind halfway through. Good thing she doesn't have yelp so she'll never see this post. She is a perfectionist and expects nothing less for her nails. SOOOO for her to consistently say good things about this nail salon, I know they're probably the real deal. Definitely have repeat customers here! read more

Update*** I had to go back the next day because my polished chipped. You would have thought I asked for a free pedicure. Since I paid $60.00 for my pedicure the day before, I thought this was a reasonable request. They reluctantly changed the polish and I noticed that they used cheap (not OPI) top coat. Very disappointed :( We came first thing in the morning, but we're rushed through because a group had appointments an HOUR later. The girl didn't clean out my toes, skipped my cuticles, and proceeded to BURN me with her callous sander. For four days I've been walking around with sander induced Blisters and they hurt like heck! She put two coats on my big toe and one on the other toes. The decor is nice, but the staff is unprofessional and need to be trained how to do nails without rushing. I can't say how terrible the service or my fill was. I went 2 days in a row. First day, only one person was there and she tells me she can't do fills. Second day, one person is there again and I'm told to come back in an hour. I do, now there's 2. I asked for a fill and a sculptured nail repair. She does the fill and filed down the one nail. Worst nail salon I've ever been in. There were 2 people waiting for a pedicure. 4 ladies waiting on their brows. Two of my nails broke within 3 days. I went to Diamond on September 9th and had a deluxe pedi and gel mani. It's a bit out of the way for me but the nail salons in my area are packed on Saturdays and with Diamond being in N. Wilmington I figured their regular customers were at the beach. I arrived shortly after they opened and was assisted right away. The salon is clean and has a relaxing vibe with comfy massage chairs in the pedicure area and big screen TVs. My nail tech was friendly and personable. She offered me a mimosa which made the experience even better. My manicure was perfection; not a single chip after almost 3 weeks. I went back on 9/26 to have it redone because my nails were growing out, but other than that it still looked good. read more

Howwww did I not know about this place sooner? I drive right past this salon at least 10 times a week, as it's on my commute to work- and yet I never really noticed it. I stopped in today because it's a Sunday, my regular salon is closed, and I needed a pedicure. So they automatically get bonus points for being open on Sundays. From the outside, this location doesn't look like there's anything special going on inside, but don't let that fool you! The inside definitely lives up to it's name. This salon is sparkling clean, literally and figuratively. The decor is lavish, like you stepped into a high end salon at a Las Vegas Strip hotel. I sipped on a complimentary mimosa as I enjoyed my gel pedicure. My therapist Kim, was fantastic. Splurge for the deluxe or spa pedicures, and they come with a complimentary neck/shoulder massage. The first time I came here to get my acrylics filled with a gel overlay I was so impressed and raved about the experience. But when I came back a 2nd time it was horrible. My nails were filed so thin with the drill that it hurt and the gel polish was applied wrong so it was clumping on the nails and did not dry properly. I had to go to another salon to have everything taken off and let a completely new set of nails grow out. But the 2nd salon still had to leave a small layer of acrylic because my nails were so thin and brittle from the tech at Diamond. I would tell someone to go to Diamond for a regular gel manicure and pedicure but never would I trust them for a set of acrylics with drills in their hands. A very scarring visit. read more

I came here as a walk in when I couldn't get in to my regular spot for a pedicure. Very nice and clean inside, with comfortable chairs for pedis and, by the looks of them, manis. I arrived around 6 on a weeknight and was taken quickly, with toes drying about 30 minutes later. I have not yet once has a good experience with this salon. It is the most convenient salon for me so I have given them a chance THREE times. Every single time I go, my nails are broken/chipped within 24 hours. First two times I got gel, and the third I got the dip powder. The Gel cracked within 24 hours and was completely gone after a week (which usually last 2-3 weeks) I decided to try dip (which lasts 4 weeks at other salons) and it hasn't even been a week and one of my nails is already gone. The quality/training is not good, and I would never recommend going. It will be a waste of money. read more

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the service. Came for the first time for a pedicure just to try and find a better place than where I usually go. There was only one other customer in the salon getting a mani. I got seated right away, the water was more cold than warm but I'm not picky. The "tools" they used weren't packaged so I hope they're well sanitized after use. I personally didn't think too much about it but I know a lot of people like the nail clippers (etc) to be opened from they're baggy in front of them. The lady was nice. The worst nail experience I have had in a long time. Went in for a refill and asked for two nail designs. The staff was rude and inexperienced. The woman doing my nails took a very long time and had to call someone else over to do my nail design. I had to ask for my nails to be fixed a few times and because it took over twice as long as other salons, I eventually just gave up and left because I was running late for an appointment. After leaving I noticed all the uneven spots in my nails more noticeable in natural light as I had Matt Black. Not to mention a spot missing polish completely! Within 24 hours part of my 3d nail design had fallen off and within a week almost every nail was lifting up from the cuticle. I will never go back here again!!! read more

This salon was a complete waste of my time and money. I came for an express pedicure, and the outcome was horrendous. The way she shaped my nails was extremely ugly (my right big toenail looked like it had some weird jagged pointed edge in attempt to shape them into a more boxy shape). Their service was mediocre - I felt rushed and like I was in the way of their next customer. To top it all off, they overcharged me, and I didn't realize until after I left. I went back in once I realized to inquire about this random charge they added to my bill and the second I walked in, the lady at the front desk shouts 'you were overcharged!' before I even said anything, likely because they already knew I came back to dispute the charge. Hello my name Is Kimberly Ball and I was in your salon last Thursday. I have come several times for pedicures but this time I decided to try getting a full set of gel nails because the nail salon I usually go to is so busy I have to wait a very long time to get my nails done even with an appt. So I was hoping to find a new nail salon that did as great of a job with less of a wait time. Anyway, I've always loved my pedicures I've had there but I can't say the same about my new full set of nails. Just a few days after having them done one broke....split right in half when I wasn't even doing anything. It's only been 5 days and my nails are horrible. 4 of them have split right off the latest one tonight while rolling the toilet paper off lol. Really??!! That should never break a nail. Definitely a first for me. I spent $128 on a spa pedicure and gel nails. 5 days later they are a mess and need to be done again. Hannah did my nails and was very nice and they looked great for like 2 days but for that amount of money they should have lasted WAY longer than that. I'm very disappointed and now I'm out the money and definitely would never change to your salon for my nails. I was hoping for a different outcome. I never ever give bad reviews or complain to companies but this just seemed very ridiculous to me. I've been having my nails done for years and years and this is the worst experience I've ever had. Hannah even talked me into having the liquid gel stuff put on telling me it looked better plus it lasted longer. I would hate to see how long the other would last. And I felt I was nickel and dimed because I was getting longer nails she said the liquid gel would be $5 more??!! No nail salon has EVER charged me more for products just because I was getting longer nails. That just seemed to rub me the wrong way but I agreed to it thinking that if my nails are gorgeous and the wait time is less then it'll be worth it. However, I would rather sit for hours at my old nail salon and have them last way longer than 5 days!!
