I got my hair magic sleeked here and I'm super happy with how it came out! My hair is finally manageable but natural looking and the results have been long lasting. Will definitely be returning :) read more

I called earlier today to see if they take walk ins. They prefer you to make an appointment. No problem, told them I could be there after work. I got there a bit early was greeted and seated right away to get my brows done. I wish I'd gotten the young lady's name but she was very nice, lite conversation. She took her time and made sure I was satisfied. I walked out feeling like a whole new woman. read more

I went to Sapphire to get my eyebrows waxed and I loved the service!! The staff is so friendly, I will definitely be going back.

Decent eyebrow threading place in Newark! I hesitated to go in since there's no review, but the owner did a fantastic job. The service was 8 bucks and just be aware that they have a min 10 bucks on credit cards. read more

Sapphire Beauty Studio - My eyebrows the day after getting them threaded - she kept them thick and arched just the way I like them! - Hair Salons Near Me - Newark, Delaware

I adore this place. The lady who threading my eyebrows was a life saver. I was sick of going to the place in the mall because they always messed my eyebrows up and they never listen. Sapphire was amazing and I will continue to come back read more

5/5 stars for eyebrows hands down! 2/5 stars for haircut unfortunately :( Wish this place could have been a one-stop shop for me, but unfortunately the haircut did not pan out well for me, and I should have just stuck with the brows. Would definitely recommend them for brow threading though! read more

I recently moved back to Delaware and wanted to find a good place to get my eyebrows threaded. Sapphire is the spot! Rita is very kind and attentive, she listens to what you want and makes your eyebrows look amazing every time. Seriously, I get so many compliments after I get them done. Part of that is because I wait until I look like the caveman from the Geico commercials to come in...but that's only more proof that she's a miracle worker. She also does great facial waxing, I have very sensitive skin that burns easily but Rita made sure that I went from Pedro to Perfect without a problem. I don't usually wax my stache, but when I do, I prefer Sapphire Beauty Studio. P.s. The prices are budget-friendly, the studio is pristine, and the wait time is usually on the short side :) read more

Rita is literally the best threader I've gone to. I've gone to many threaders and they always mess up my brows. I have thick eyebrows and threaders for some reason shape each one so differently. Rita is very attentive and will arch your brows very precisely. The other threader in the shop mostly does hair. I wouldn't necessarily recommend her. She really messed up my brows once and I went to Rita three weeks later and she evened our the shape. read more

Very friendly service and extremely fair prices for eyebrow threading. I came in a little after the stated closing hours without realizing, and the owner still cleaned up my eyebrows without hesitation. read more

I wanted to find a new threading place in DE so this was my first time here. There aren't many in DE and like the other users noted the mall is too expensive. The prices here are comparable to where they should be. $8. I went nearing closing time so only one worker was there, "Aaliyah". She was with someone but offered me coffee and tea and apologized for the wait as she was the only one there. She kept me up on her progress as time went on, which I thought was very considerate. When she finished the other customer and I sat in the chair she asked me how I would like my eyebrows done. Once she completed one she had me check to see if it was good. Which was also nice. Because once it's off.....it's OFF! : ) Anyway, the service was great other than having to wait. & I would definitely be returning here to experience again. read more

Finally a place close to the Philadelphia area that didn't botch my brows! Been looking for a new place to get my eyebrows done since I moved from Texas a few months ago and have finally found the place that can actually do brows well! The price is fantastic too at 8 dollars for threading I would be surprised to find a place thats better than this close to the Philadelphia area! read more

Just the way I needed my eyebrows done and the perfect haircut! Looking forward to visit again ! Love it ! Highly recommended.

Great salon in Delaware, they do eyebrows really well, listen to what the clients want and don't overcharge for basic services. The owner is very nice and friendly! read more

DO NOT EVER go to this Salon. I had the Magic Sleek Service done at this salon by the owner and my hair turned bright yellow and the ends of my hair are sooo dry now. When I spoke to her after the service she claimed that "I must not have understood her English." That is ridiculous. She was FAST to take my money. I asked her for a refund because of dissatisfaction and she said "No!" read more

In the Deptford Mall in South Jersey, my friends and I were stopped by a young girl, Amber. I was looking for a new straightening iron, but I will NEVER buy from this place AGAIN. I'm 17!! And apparently so was this girl. She sampled the iron, I thought it was cool so I decided to do the layaway. Since I'm a student, there was a discount. I paid $10.66 but as the night went on, I realized what a huge mistake that was. I contacted Sapphire, and they said no return policy?! What a scam! They didn't even give me the item. She apparently makes $30 of the $100 I'd pay. So she made $3 off me from the $10. But I'm not paying the rest. They rob you! Thanks for making me waste my money! She also was super rude to my friends and I. She told my best friend to dump her boyfriend and that he was bad for her even though we have NEVER met this girl. She doesn't have manners at all. We tried to leave three times but kept talking. We didn't wanna be rude but we also didn't have time. If you wanna be a successful business, please have a refundable return policy. AND do not make vulnerable minors fall for this type of shit. read more

I've been coming here once a week for the past 2yrs and I will not go to anyone else. They do everything at a super cheap cost. Everytime I go I get my hair conditioned & my eyebrows shaped & colored. My hair was dry & unhealthy before I found them. Now it's long & super healthy. They're the best I've seen when I comes to eyebrow shape up & tint. Sometimes I'll get my face waxed or eyelash extensions which they're also good at. These lady's are fully committed to making you feel beautiful and will not let you leave till you're 100% satisfied. read more

I LOVE this place!!!! I've struggled for a long time trying to find the right place to get my eyes brows done! I must say that each time I go to get my eyebrows threaded, they come out exactly how I want them. They take care of me and my waxing needs. I eventually tried out Full Face threading, underarms, & Brazilian waxing and each experience has been great. They answered all of my questions before each different service, are clean, welcoming, and show that they care about their guests. Today, I went to get my Brazilian for the first time and they explained everything step by step of what to expect. I was really nervous prior to the service but was comfortable during it. For me, that's the most important thing..feeling comfortable. I truly recommend scheduling appts as it will give them time in advance to ensure there is enough people working in case it gets busy. I recommend this place to anyone. I truly found a home for my threading and waxing needs!! read more

Went for a Brazilian wax. Took an hour and a half and two people to do it. The was wasn't hot enough and the girl didnt know what she was doing. Also, the back rooms are creepy. She was the only one working while people kept coming in. She finally called her manager and her manager finished the wax. Horrible. read more

Very disappointed by this place. The women were nice but I'm not entirely sure they knew what they were doing. I've never had highlights or a cut done this way before. My cut ended up extremely uneven/choppy and went to another salon to get it fixed. I purchased the groupon- save yourself time and steer clear. read more

I found my new place and I couldn't be happier. My eyebrows were so perfect. The owner is super nice and does an amazing job. The prices are definitely a PLUS. I recommend to anyone that needs a new place for threading. THIS IS IT!! read more

I went here after reading the reviews. I'll say this, I'm very disappointed. This was one of the most painful threading experiences I've had. And terrible shaping. My experience was painful enough that I hesitate to go here. I'm going to give it one more try and hope I'll have a better experience. read more

If you're looking for threading in or around Newark, Delaware this is your spot! I'm beyond happy I found this salon!

Sapphire salon is excellent. I come here for all my threading and waxing needs. I also received a hair cut and magicsleek hair treatment today. The process took almost 5 hours and the results are phenomenal. Aliyah and Rita are so great and the time flew by so fast. I have been to many many salons in NYC before moving to this area, and I can confidently say Sapphire is the best salon I have been to that I fully trust. It can be hard when moving but Aliyah at Sapphire has taken away all my beauty fears. read more

Found this place on Yelp and was super hesitant to go, but am so happy I did! She introduced herself to me seeing I was a new customer. There was no wait. I got my eyebrows threaded which was about $8, and she was really gentle. It hurt far less than previous threading experiences. I also asked for my eyebrows to be kept thick since some places make them way too thin, which she did. Really happy & will be coming back to Sapphire! read more

Found this hidden small salon and was pleased with how my eyebrows turned out! Will come back for sure :-)

Fabulous owner ( trained in NewYork,) and gracious staff make you feel welcomed the moment you enter the door of this stylish beauty studio. I had a formal make up and hair updo done and received compliments all evening. They are EXPERTS IN ASIAN BRIDAL MAKEUP. Amazing customer service. I feel pampered every time I get anything done here, be it a root touch up, facial haircut or waxing . I highly recommend their services. read more
