Attempted to purchase a new Ranger. Ford Motor Company offers X-Plan pricing to all Disabled American Veterans. This discount is valued at $1000. After we had what I thought was a deal, I was informed they were not going to honor that offer. This was discouraging to know that this dealer would not honor that promise Ford made. We left with the feeling that Diamond Ford was an anti- veteran dealership. Run away! First sales tries to treat you like your are a 12 year old. I bought a new truck, extended warranty, and prepaid service. Take delivery, and its not even washed. I guess no porters anymore. Then, had to go back two days later. Wanted them to remove the GPS they put in. The sales guy backed my truck into a guardrail right in front of me. Dented and scratched the bumper. They tried to act like nothing was wrong. Offered to have my truck detailed for me. It took several days and as many visits to the dealership to have them fix it. I'm making this post to hopefully help any future buyers in educating them self so they don't get taken advantage of at this location. Went here with my mother to help get her a car and while the sales staff are nice their sales managers and higher staff are just trying to get your money and upsell cars that they are upside down on. If you are in the valley car dealers are limited and they will tell you things like we have the lowest prices in 300 miles and they can legally tell you that because that is before dealer markups. However you will find that they add on thousands in dealer markups. If you want to learn about how to haggle with places like this check out caredge on YouTube and they will help you not fall into the traps places like this set. But if you want some free knowledge read on. For all the used cars we looked at and most of the lot cars you will find these mark ups. Cilajet it's a ceramic coating to protect paint and while ceramic coating is good when properly applied you will find it is not applied properly here and it's the cheapest kind you can get and they have it marked up at a crazy price about 300% from what you could get at a detailers. The next is RED ALERT, this is just a system that causes one of your rear lights (typically the one at the top of your rear window) to flash. They will tell you how it come with a warranty and coverage if the car is in an accident, and while this is true these company's pretty much never pay out. The last common one you will find is PPF / abrasion protection film at the door edges and handles, these protective films are designed to prevent the door from getting dinged and the handles from getting scratched by rings and the like when the car is opened. Most of the company's that dealerships work with on these are very low level and can cause damage to the paint long term they are not really required. ALL of these products are designed and used by dealerships to protect their cars while on the lot, they are not required by law you are not required by law or anything else to have to purchase them. When a dealer tells you that you have to buy them it's because they want you to eat their overhead on these products and they make a large profit off of these which is why they will tell you they are non negotiable. If you have time go to YouTube research caredge and look at ever dealership outside of 300 miles to find better deals, there are dealerships that have no or very low add ons that will take better care of you. We ended up getting a car from AutoNation in Valencia. Don't give this dealership your money they will take advantage of you. read more

Our lease is up. We called several times to make appt. During the ownership change they were not setup for lease return. They told us we can return to another dealership but we had a few months left. So they said they will be set up by then. We did get appt for them to inspect the car but basically the salesman wanted us to buy. Friday we called to let them know we wanted to return day early. They advised us lease returns were on Monday and Tuesday only. Told us no big deal an extra day/two. So today we call about 4 and they yes come in within hour. We get about 430. The only guy that handle lease return left and now will not be back until Friday. The salesman told us they let the seasoned lease return staff go. Talked the floor manager he basically he's here but can't do anything'. Told us we can take the lease to another Ford. That means driving to Valencia. Or wait until Friday (the guy is off tomorrow). Very frustrating and lack of communication. As soon as they found out we didn't want to buy it they didn't care. It's insane to me that a company would only have 1 person trained and sales manager can't be a backup. read more

Diamond Ford in Lancaster is the worst trying to buy car here to keep it local, but I think they don't know what they are duing for a month been calling constantly always get a different excuse they don't seem to know anything about ordering a vehicle, Been in contact with Ford Motors like 5 times some guy Bob in Sales dint want to talk to Ford Motors Rep, taking my business to the valley. Update 7/22/2021went into dealer to get my deposit talked to Bob and few others and showed him that another Ford Dealer did the ordering process in like 20min he said he wasn't aware and admitted we are duing something wrong and will start to step up there game. Sorry for review but hopefully they do step up there game and listen to there clients I kept telling them how the process was done but they thought I didn't know what I was talking about. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would, the miscommunication between the team here is the worst I've ever seen. I drove 3 hours to go look at a car, didn't work a deal out which is fine. I then proceeded to get contacted by a different sales man saying he could possibly work out a deal with the numbers I was looking for. He gives me a call we work it out over the phone I'm being told total price of the car is 41,000 out the door and that I'll be getting 17,000 for my trade in as well as 2,000 down out of pocket. I asked him for a picture of this all printed out before I proceed to drive 3 hours to go out there again. He never sends the picture, and I get another call from a completely different guy the next day asking if we could do a deal, I thought it was weird but he said he was in finance so I said okay maybe him and the salesman are working together. Nope I was wrong they had no knowledge of the conversation the day prior with the salesman and proceeded to give me numbers that were COMPLETELY different from those I had agreed on the day prior. Nevermind the fact that no one that had reached out to me even knew I had already drove 3 hours to see the car about 2 weeks prior, this place is the absolute worst car dealership and something needs to be fixed within the team itself. Worst car buying experience of my life. I went to Diamond Ford to buy a used vehicle, thinking that a bigger dealership would be less shady, but I was really really wrong. I purchased a Nissan Rogue as a vehicle to use for work. I wasn't looking for anything special, just a decent deal on a reliable car. When I bought the car i thought I caught a faint cigarette smell but the salesman amd the sales manager got me to belive it was his clothes not the car. Either way they were going to detail it for me "Just so you feel better about it". It already had that Lemmon car cleaner smell, after the "detail" the Lemmon smell was all there was...until the next morning. When I opened the door to go to work that smell hit me like a baseball bat. By the time I got to work I was nauseus and had a headache. So I called the dealership, and they told me to bring it right in for another "Deep cleanjng". Over the next month I had 4 of those and a "treatment" (that was absolutely going to get the smell out) over the next month. Every time it lasted a day, maybe 2 before the smell of stale nicotine was overwhelming. Then they told me "just drive with the window down for awhile". I told them I thought this was bs and just wanted to give it back and buy something else. They said they would be happy to trade it in for me against something else but they would only be able to give me "trade in value" Meaning thousands less than I paid or it just weeks before. Then they had the nerve to act like the cleanings they had done were a favor to me. I told them where they could shine that mess and I never went back. Talked to a lawyer and they said i didn't have a case because they never officially said they woukd fix the smell. Oh, and the "Details" and "Treatments" they made me keep coming back for...well those were never checked in through the service department so they never happened!! All I had was vague text messages and verbal promises. These guys are straight up liars and crooks. I wouldn't even buy a lugnut from them ever again. It's been 6 months and I still can't get rid of the smell I have tried every cleaning product and home remedy I can find. It's horrible. If I hang 2 air freshmers in the front and one in the back it's just barely tolerable, and I still have to drive with the windows down. And there is absolutely nothing I can do about any of it. DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR CROOKED A**ES. Grab up something with a "for sale" sign in the Walmart parking lot. You will stand a better chance. read more

This dealership is a joke I was told my engine was bad cylinder 3 when I went in for tune up and oil change, it being a dealership i believed them so they got me Uber to drive me to rent a car I paid for rental, then I was quoted 7 grand for new engine in a car I still owed 12 grand on so I went and got my car back was charged 395. Labor no tune up or oil change was done but after I got my car back it was different it started running sluggish so I thought maybe they were right took it back june 2nd still don't have car they lied said they put new engine in it and I went there the other day and they tried to say another car just like mine was mine, but glove box papers has owners name in it ,either they are putting my engine in it or stealing her engine too,they couldn't locate my car that day. I'm out over 3 grand in rental fees and and engine in my Chevy I had to drive to work because I had no other choice.The money they have cost me and the stress and mental breakdown it has put me through getting to and from work 122 miles everyday with no car has deffentally been a challenge and I think everyone who has been screwed by this dealership should come forward and we shut them down. After not being able to get something I needed from my car that clearly wasn't there I was told ot might be locked up in other building next door they would let me know sat, ya right they stole my engine now my car. read more

Went here on Thursday 3-23-23 for sales. We were greeted in the lot by self proclaimed floor sales manager. I believe his name was Eric. I asked if we could speak to a sales associate who's a "bronco expert." He said he could help. So I told him we'd like to build our bronco and put a deposit down so that when order banks open on March 27th that he can put it in for us. He replied "no, we can't do that." I replied "are you suuuuure?" He said "absolutely, we can't do that." So I said "okay, we'll go to galpin." We walked back to the car, went home and called galpin. Guess what? Not only did they take our build, but we were able to give them a deposit for our reservation. Sucks that a sales floor manager doesn't know what they can and can't do at Lancaster Ford, but a regular salesman at galpin does. Kinda sucks because now I'm inclined to take my service related business to galpin as well because of this experience. read more

Beware of bait and switch.  We did a special order from AV Ford in March for a F-250. When we went to take delivery of the truck Diamond Ford added their Diamond Protection which is a bunch of stickers and a clear coat for $2,100.00. We did not ask for that or want it and were told too bad it is already on there. We had ordered this and had the X plan and knew what price we were paying. Then, when we wouldn't go with their financing, which was at a higher interest rate than our credit union, they threatened to not honor the X plan. Not only that, the Sales Manager would not come and speak to us. On top of all that we had an appointment and they kept us there for over 5 hours, on a Special order!! Clearly they did not want to sell us the truck because they were not going to make the money they would have if it was not a special order. Not my problem, maybe they should have figured what they were obligated to when they bought AV Ford. Part 2- I also ordered a MACH E, which came in the same week...same story. Needless to say I did not purchase the MACH E. First time shame on you, not going to be a shame on me. read more

Went in with a friend looking for their first car they had a ford Fiesta listed for 8.9k. When we got there they didnt seem to want to sell us a ford car at a ford dealership. They then proceeded to show us the fiesta in the back lot it had to be cleaned still before going on the lot. We then went in and had the manager immediately try to sell us a different car again after we told the sales person no. He left for a little and said the car didnt have a transmission which was a lie because that was on 3/5/2022 and today 3/10/2022 the same car is listed for almost 3k more. We told them we wanted a low payment as it is a first car and we needed something cheap. The only offer we got was almost $700 a month on a car we didnt want. I financed a brand new truck for that payment. We then decided to leave and come back another day as they then went back and tried to sell us another car we did not want. When we told the manager we had to leave he immediately got pissed of and ignored us asking about coming back and walked away.
