One recent report was that 3 men came out of the bathroom and was headed toward someone's daughter. Another mom called the police recently because men were recording the children at the splash pad, but they didn't have any kids of their own. The bathroom by the playground and splash pad has two directions you can exit.. to the left towards the splash pad or toward the right towards the side wooded area. Please don't let your children go in there alone and always check the bathroom first. Lakewood park, please hire security and heavily monitor the children's area.

From the moment we booked to the minute we packed up, everything was smooth, easy, and honestly kind of perfect. The park is stunning and has so much to do. So much space, beautiful scenery, and tons of options for kids to run wild . My son had the best time celebrating with his friends. Between the playground, splash pad, and shaded picnic areas, the kids were entertained the entire time. No one was bored, not even for a second. There's something really special about this place. It feels like you're in the middle of nature but with all the modern conveniences nearby. It made the whole party feel relaxed and joyful.

They even have horseback riding and zip lines, along with numerous trails to explore! We've visited free dog parks throughout Austin, Leander, and Cedar Park, and they often end up neglected and trashy! I completely understand why they want to keep this place clean and welcoming!

We're retired, but after coming home with dog poop on our shoes, we started picking up other dogs' poop when we saw it - hopefully we'll make a dent, because there's a lot.

It's great in theory but I found it a bit lacking. There's a rudimentary playground that's labeled as 2-5. And a crunk playground (3-tiered, with gnarly slides) labeled as 5-12. Don't get me wrong -- this big playground is awesome for older kids. But it's a bit too advanced/scary for a 3-year-old. Meanwhile, the little playground was too simple/easy for her. So there's a middle age that isn't really catered to. But, great for 2-year-olds and 5+. There are also multiple parks with playgrounds within a short driving distance (Champion, Olson Meadows) so you can easily park hop.

Not sure if the Texas heat was a contributing factor, however, there was no one at the park at the time we were there. The park is well maintained and super clean. The grassy areas were perfectly manicured and aesthetically pleasing. There is also a humungous pool onsite, however, it did not appear to be operational...perhaps waiting for the hot days of summer. Silverado Ranch Park serves as a great connection point for families, children's and others to enjoy some down time and experience the greatest of being outdoors in a relaxed environment.

However, this is not a public park run by Cedar Park, it is for local residents and their guests only. It has a very well-maintained pool area and children's play scape. It has 33 parking spaces including two handicap spots. It has a large covered picnic table area with a grill and there are several picnic tables scattered about on the property. One thing that caught my attention was the fact that this park has a fenced in dog park as well. The pool area is one of the nicest I've ever seen in a residentialy owned park and is accessible by a key given only to the residents here. This park is a true asset to those who live in this area and the photos included prove it.
