I enjoy having Devine Lake just around the corner from my home. It's very peaceful, never overcrowded or noisey, and just simply a great escape to rest the mind. I enjoy kayaking, hunting for wild garlic and green onions, or simply just sitting or walking the lakeside. Always see neighbors with family and very friendly. Devine Lake is a wonderful work of nature and great upkeep by the local parks and recreation, thank you for giving us this blessing.

Nice quiet park where you can read a book or just relax at. I took my dog pepper and we watched birds and ducks lol. My dog loved it. I saw one guy fishing and another family lounging. Will revisit again another time!!

This is a nice park with a lot of trees, picnic tables, and a playground by the lake.

The playscape is not fancy, but this large property has LOTS of trees so it's totally in the shade.

Garey Park is an absolute gem!…read more We celebrated my son's birthday at Garey Park a couple of months ago, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we booked to the minute we packed up, everything was smooth, easy, and honestly kind of perfect. The park is stunning and has so much to do. So much space, beautiful scenery, and tons of options for kids to run wild . My son had the best time celebrating with his friends. Between the playground, splash pad, and shaded picnic areas, the kids were entertained the entire time. No one was bored, not even for a second. There's something really special about this place. It feels like you're in the middle of nature but with all the modern conveniences nearby. It made the whole party feel relaxed and joyful.

Those fees help maintain this BEAUTIFUL park, which offers tons of activities for families with kids and dogs. The bathrooms were quite clean and stocked with toilet paper. The playground was filled with kids having a great time. We enjoyed walking the trails along the San Gabriel River, and our dogs had a blast! They even have horseback riding and zip lines, along with numerous trails to explore! We've visited free dog parks throughout Austin, Leander, and Cedar Park, and they often end up neglected and trashy! I completely understand why they want to keep this place clean and welcoming!

The splash pad has a dedicated fenced in area for the water fun, and a nice grassy area with tables and seating. Perfect for a picnic! I love taking walks with my daughters along the lake, admiring the views and enjoying the wildlife. If you're adventurous you can rent a canoe or kayak from the boathouse and take it out onto the lake as well. This park is a beautiful place to spend time on a weekend!

The trail…read morethat runs over the dam is all paved (not sure how far it continues being paved since we turned around). Lots of pedestrians, bikers, dog walkers. You can also walk on the unpaved trail along the water (it's very smooth and stroller-friendly). There is a playground. It's split into two areas for different ages. It's great in theory but I found it a bit lacking. There's a rudimentary playground that's labeled as 2-5. And a crunk playground (3-tiered, with gnarly slides) labeled as 5-12. Don't get me wrong -- this big playground is awesome for older kids. But it's a bit too advanced/scary for a 3-year-old. Meanwhile, the little playground was too simple/easy for her. So there's a middle age that isn't really catered to. But, great for 2-year-olds and 5+. There are also multiple parks with playgrounds within a short driving distance (Champion, Olson Meadows) so you can easily park hop.

Cedar Park, this is a joke. So many safety risks and completely inefficient kayakers.

The park has a number of apparatuses for children to entertain themselves through play. This park, approximately one acre, is located in the Silverado Ranch subdivision. Not sure if the Texas heat was a contributing factor, however, there was no one at the park at the time we were there. The park is well maintained and super clean. The grassy areas were perfectly manicured and aesthetically pleasing. There is also a humungous pool onsite, however, it did not appear to be operational...perhaps waiting for the hot days of summer. Silverado Ranch Park serves as a great connection point for families, children's and others to enjoy some down time and experience the greatest of being outdoors in a relaxed environment.

However, this is not a public park run by Cedar Park, it is for local residents and their guests only. It has a very well-maintained pool area and children's play scape. One thing that caught my attention was the fact that this park has a fenced in dog park as well. The pool area is one of the nicest I've ever seen in a residentialy owned park and is accessible by a key given only to the residents here. This park is a true asset to those who live in this area and the photos included prove it.

I am not sure what happened yesterday (Sunday the 11th) but I didn't see a handler. There was a few humans that could have been directed by a handler; ex: leashes on dogs in the park and kids with dog treats. Luckily nothing big came from it but usually these things are big no no's at parks because it can cause some fights. Otherwise, Tailgate is amazing! We drive from South Austin to bring our kids and they are so happy to run and play and have their day! I will totally be going back and bringing any friend who I can wrangle!
