Of course finding out you are diabetic sucks to no end, but I heard that from my previous doctor…read more He kept prescribing me meds which were making me sick (Metformin) and when I pointed out to him they were making me sick his response was that they were working, so he wanted to leave me on them. So I left him and never looked back. Meeting with Dr Andrea Ferenczi was a breath of fresh air. She listened to my concerns, asked relevant questions and provided me with basic information on living with diabetes, which my previous doctor did not. When I asked him for info on diabetes he told me to just Google it. Like what the actual fork? After my initial consult with her I pretty much see a PA whenever I go in. I am sure she reviews their notes from time to time but I'm not complaining. The PA's are all top notch and I have no complaints there. The appointments run on time so the expected forty minute wait past your scheduled appt doesn't occur which is nice. The only thing I have an issue with is that some of the meds they prescribe for me require a preauthorization from the doctor's office for the insurance to run it through. For whatever reason getting the office to fax those through to the insurance company is a total fiasco! It's great that they prescribe the meds that you need but if they can't get the pre approvals done it's no bueno. So following up repeatedly is a must for that. Otherwise I really like this place.

Since I've been seen here before I said I was an existing patient. Went on hold for about 10 minutes and someone answered gave them my info and he informed me I was a new patient. After he asked me who I was so obviously I was in the system. He transferred me. Then I went back to the phone tree and waited about 8 minutes. Then the system answered and said there was no one to help me and told me to leave a message. Wow!!! Just wow!

She does everything very thoroughly, using detailed testing from professional labs. Originally, I went to my primary doctor feeling off. They ran tests and didn't find a thing. She did the same tests and some additional. The normal range for a standard medical practice is a bit different than when you see a more natural practitioner. I got results here. I know many wonderful individuals who dig deeper and can find issues a standard practice cannot. However, the supplements those practitioners provide, I am usually unable to take due to sensitivities. Best of all, I can take their products with no issues. I can call any time. Jessica, who is the sweetest, is always there to set up a product pick up for me, or I can have them delivered to my home. I appreciate them so much.

They claimed to be able to help, but took the exact method that I've seen from every other doctor. Even a primary could take. Put me on thyroid medication and then did expensive. Blood draws every 3 to 6 months. The difference was an expensive on front payment with no proof of work and then nickel and diming everything they possibly could on going. If you are addressing a chronic Health problem, I would definitely not go to this Clinic. If you are overweight and would just like to pay expensive fees for blood draws and a general Health coach then I guess this is your place.

We are so grateful to New Direction Fertility Center for walking with us through one of the most…read moreemotional chapters of our lives. Our journey began with male factor infertility, and our first round of ICSI didn't work. We were devastated--but never felt alone. The team at New Direction supported us with kindness and empathy, never pressuring us into another round before we were ready. Dr. Derman took the time to refer my husband to a male fertility specialist, giving us space to explore options and come back when we felt ready. That level of care and respect meant everything to us. We eventually did two rounds of IUI and another round of ICSI--which was successful! I'm now 14 weeks pregnant, with our baby due in May 2026! From the ease of scheduling to the professionalism and warmth of every staff member, New Direction made a difficult journey feel hopeful and supported. Thank you for helping us grow our family!

I apologize for the length of this review, but want to share my experience with New Direction. Even…read morethough my treatment time with them was short, sadly I did not have the experience that I had hoped for. I was referred by my OB/GYN for help with better management of my PCOS symptoms and the hope to get to a place where I could conceive naturally, or with minimal help/treatment. My first consultation with Dr. Derman was okay. He was professional, and initially made me feel heard. I was given two options for helping my PCOS: 1) lose weight, possibly with a GLP1 from my PCP, to see if that helped with my PCOS and allowed me to conceive or 2) jump into ovulation induction medications to get pregnant ASAP. Ultimately I chose to go the GLP1 route through my PCP and put a hold on option 2. Dr. Derman prescribed me a birth control, as he wanted me to try to regulate my cycle and I needed to be on BC if I started taking a GLP1. I started having "breakthrough bleeding" on the pill, which I was expecting. However, the bleeding lasted for 75 days. While it wasn't heavy bleeding the entire time, it was enough to have to use my menstrual cup every day for those 75 days. I reached out to the clinic a few times during those 75 days to express concern and to ask "how long is too long?" Every time I got the same answer, to continue taking the pill and that the bleeding was to be expected; that there was no concern unless I was filling my menstrual cup within a couple of hours. I discussed this with my PCP, who helped me make the decision to change my birth control pill. I started a new pill, and the bleeding stopped within 10 days. It was clear that the birth control Dr. Derman put me on was not ideal for my body...but they didn't seem to care, even when I told them the constant bleeding was taking a physical and mental toll. I decided to no longer seek any care through New Direction. To me, it felt like my care was put on the back burner since I wasn't trying to actively get pregnant. It felt like I wasn't worth their time or effort, and it was very disheartening. Sadly, this ruined their reputation for me. If I couldn't count on them to listen to a concern about a birth control pill, it doesn't instill a lot of trust that they'll be the right providers for me should I need fertility treatment.
