I wish I could give this place negative stars!…read more They potray themselves as a walk in clinic. My husband walked into this location and was told to go home and come back two hours later. When he came back he was over charged his on his co-pay as our co-pay is $10 for retail walk in clinics which this was confirmed with my insurance and it even states it on my insurance card and they charged us $25 instead. The NP said she was sorry and that she couldn't refund the card the overage that he would have to call the main walgreen billing to get this taken care of and that she would put notes in his chart. She even hand wrote a note on his bill and signed it stating that she would put the note in the account that we were only suppose to pay $10. Well, I called Walgreens and they stated that they wouldn't refund us the overcharged amount and that the NP hadn't put the notes in his account and that the paper we have that she hand wrote and signed wasn't acceptable. Now we are out of $15. You're better of going to your own doctor or the Urgent care at this point if you have to wait either way and then get screwed by them by over charging you and not refunding you. Walgreens is no better and above that their billing practices are fradulent. BEWARE!!!! They are not at the corner of happy and healthy, more like the corner of Liars & they don't care.

It's been a two and a half year long ordeal of trying to get the billing straight for what should have been a free service. Back in June 2009, I went to Take Care Clinic because they were one of the few places that had the H1N1 vaccine in stock. This was a free vaccine paid for by the government, so I shouldnt have been charged anything for the vaccine. I confirmed the $0 charge on the phone with the clinic before I arrived, and again with the technician when she gave me the shot. Yet six months later, they billed me an $18 administration fee. I disputed the charge, but then thought it was just easier to pay it to make it go away. Bad idea, because in July of 2011 (two tears after service date)' they billed me $53 for a different shot that I didn't get. I disputed that charge in writing, but instead of investigating they sent the account to collections.. So they'll charge you a different amount than the listed fees, screw up their accounting, blame it on your insurance, and then send the matter to collections. if I could give this place Zero stars, I would. I'll never go back there, or to Walgreens either. Terrible experience that won't go away.

I went to urgent care due to very high blood pressure and an extreme headache that I had had for…read moreseveral days, and they referred me to the ER. When I saw the doctor, I explained my symptoms, but from the start, I felt like my concerns were being dismissed. He made a comment that high blood pressure is "better than low," which didn't feel reassuring given why I was there. He told me the plan was to do blood work, an EKG, and give me another dose of my blood pressure medication. I had my blood drawn and waited, expecting to be called back for the EKG. Instead, the doctor later came to tell me that my "EKG and blood work" were normal. I had to point out that I never actually received an EKG. He responded that he must have been thinking of another patient, which was concerning in itself. He then said he didn't think an EKG was necessary anymore, even though it had been part of the original plan. He recommended that I start taking my blood pressure medication twice a day and discharged me. This left me feeling confused and uneasy. After doing some research the next day, I learned that I am already on the maximum recommended dose of that medication, and increasing it is not typically advised. Overall, I left feeling that my concerns weren't taken seriously and that the care I received lacked attention to detail.

One Medical is an interesting place to review because... it's not a restaurant, and it's not an…read moreentertainment place. But it's a place you go to see a doctor. And in the spirit of Yelp... I review everything. Including... walk-in doctor's offices. So, I'm a One Medical user, and I've used it for about six months. This is my home location, and I'm definitely a fan. One of the main things I like about it is how you can get labs done by just walking in anytime. You don't need an appointment. You just walk in and wait. If there's a line, they can give you a time to come back. Or, if there's no line, you can just sit in the waiting room. It's very nice to have a lab on site, and you don't have to deal with the whole Sonora Quest adventure that a lot of us Arizonans deal with. I've seen two nurse practitioners there. Both of them were helpful. And not only did they show good bedside manner--if I'm able to use that term, despite not actually being in a hospital bed--but they also were quick to respond to my messages on the app. The service here is painless. No pun intended. It's easy to make an appointment. Their app is very well-designed. And this location is clean and friendly. I would recommend One Medical if you're looking for a simple primary care experience.

The medical staff is caring and amazing, they have a lab in office. The biggest thing is they respect your time. You don't wait in the waiting room long your provider comes to get you not a med tech and you can pick your apt time 15 min 30 etc. There is an annual membership fee but you get a discount if you have Amazon Prime. My dad is 78 years old and has had many health issues and they've taken care of him wonderfully and my 24yo son is also a patient there. We are very happy with their care for us all.

I did appreciate her honesty on what's actually necessary for my daughter vaccine-wise before our trip. I was well aware that there was going to be a fee for the consultation alone and was also prepared to pay upfront for any vaccines that needed to be administered right away. Luckily, the nurse just recommended I keep my upcoming doctor's appointment for my daughter and they can handle it all there through my insurance. I also appreciated how easy it was to find the place (even though it can look misleading, as the business plaza looks a bit like an apartment complex). If you follow your GPS, you should have no issues. Another bonus is how tech-friendly the place is. Much more modern and straight to the point.

Passport Health quoted more than $5000 for vaccinations - some of which are covered by insurance (but they don't take insurance). And then when I declined to get any vaccinations at that time, they charged $99 for the information we discussed, which I could have found on the internet. The nurse at my doctor's office recommended Passport Health, highly disappointed that she did. Should have done my research instead of trusting her! Walgreens offers all routine vaccinations and works with your health insurance, plus many Walgreens locations also offer travel vaccinations.
