Dirty furniture

Absolutely no communication or information before we arrived before surgery. We checked in and the lady told me we had to pay almost $1000 or else they'd cancel his surgery. His surgeon's office had this same policy but they informed us at time of scheduling, as well as included it in their info packet as well as called and text. We have an HRA so this wasn't a concern. The surgery center never informed us, and couldn't charge my HRA because they hadn't billed insurance yet. I was directed to a second front desk lady and then the office manager (all of which looked dirty and were in hoodies, not looking medical professional at all) and they couldn't care less what I had to say, they made my sick son wait for hours while they gave me a run around. They even called my HRA, verified my funds, but were told they needed to bill ins first so then they tried telling me to pay out of pocket and apply for a reimbursement. After bringing up ethical laws (I'm in healthcare) and requesting to speak to the director, they finally agreed to let me pay a deposit. I got back in line to pay, a wonderful lady in scrubs, hair not in a mess and came to work looking like she works at a surgery center pulled me to assist. I gave her my card, she processed it and then asked about a payment plan which I explained the HRA situation. She then reversed my transaction and said no problem, pay when we bill insurance! My son went into his surgery 3 hours late because of the stubbornness and stupidity of the office manager who would rather act like a bulldog than provide healthcare professionalism. The place was also filthy with full trash bins, garbage all over, ripped and dirty furniture, never washed doors and door handles. This is not sanitary for a surgery center. We were the second in the door so the filth was not from that same day.

Clean facility & good location. Staff was nice. We came on an incredibly busy day so we had a decent wait but the surgery went well.

I've had CRPS, osteoarthritis, multiple herniated discs both cervical and lumbar and chronic migraines. In short, I'm a hot mess. I primarily see Dr. Nasser and NP, Amelia Campbell and their attention to my concerns and thoroughness has been incredible. When I was in PT trying to avoid spinal fusion, I mentioned how painful it was, I know PT can hurt, I've had both hips and knees replaced. However, when I told Amelia I was leaving PT crying she sat me down and encouraged me to remember that while it can be uncomfortable, what l was experiencing could be doing more harm than good. She also said it could just be a bad fit and maybe I could see a different provider as there are many approaches to PT. The extra ten minutes she spent with me helped me remember to self advocate. Anyway, she cared and her advice was very helpful. The office staff are efficient, friendly and kind. In all the years I've been there, they've only run behind one or two times. I highly recommend them.

5/3/26 Unplanned ER visit HonorHealth Mountain Vista Medical…read moreCenter East Mesa. Background This is a New Hospital for HonorHealth having purchased it from its previous owner's out of bankruptcy. This purchase and their buying Cigna's East valley EverNorth Care locations allowed them to expand their operations from the West Valley and Scottsdale into the East valley. For me as a Cigna patient for four decades it has turned out to be a great healthcare benefit. Facility 5/5 HonorHealth has made some branding changes since my last visit a few years ago but my exposure to the hospital has been limited to the ER during this visit. Office5/5+ The ER was well staffed during the day shift and my wait time was significantly less that the Banner Baywood I normally utilized. Service 5/5+ After intake Triage, I was moved to an individual room within the ER department. Typical as shown in the picture. After pulling my records directly from my HonorHealth superstition springs PCPs office, the ER Physician ordered a number of tests both labs and CT. A team of ER technicians and nurses came in to do their part of my care. I was extremely impressed with their bedside manner and professionalism. I was regularly updated on status and provided hydration throughout. Overall experience 5/5++ I was extremely impressed with how HonorHealth's ER managed my treatment and visit. Based in my records and care management transition from Cigna to HonorHealth and the MyChart app has translated to better outcomes for my health care needs. Be well my friends-SYOY!

My issue is that we were move to multiple different chairs in different room. Initially in our own room, then to another private room with a chair, then to a lobby area with other patients where we all sat in a row with arms touching, then back to a private room with a chair, then discharged. My son was hurting and so sick. The lady next to us was puking from the methadone she received. She was in the ER the night before and back. They were working on checking her in for surgery. I know because I was sitting by here. No privacy of medical information. I also got her pile splatter on my arm. My son had managed to fall asleep in the chair. He has leaned over his arm that had an IV with fluids dripping and started bleeding. When they pulled us back to the last room we were told he had influenza B. I said, so the lady going into surgery was just exposed? And he is hurting. Exposure and health info privacy act violation. The hospital said that all Honor Health hospitals are this way.
