His thoroughness, attention to detail, compassion, and outstanding bedside manner truly stood out to me. He took the time to listen, was attentive to my concerns, and made me feel that my health and well-being genuinely mattered. I have visited this ER multiple times in the past, and although I have had one experience that wasn't the greatest, this visit stood out above all the others. I also want to recognize every single staff member who played a part in my care. I sincerely wish I had gotten everyone's names, from the patient care specialists at the front window to the nurses, technicians, and everyone working behind the scenes in the treatment area. What impressed me most was witnessing how well everyone worked together. From coordinating laboratory work to imaging and everything in between, I could see the teamwork, communication, and dedication. Everyone took their responsibilities seriously while still treating patients with kindness, dignity, and respect. Yes, there was a long wait, but I also understand that emergency departments are busy and that patients have different levels of urgency. As someone who lives with chronic pain, I don't seek emergency care lightly. By the time I arrived, I had exhausted my other options and genuinely needed help. Then another Doctor performed an eye ultrasound. They sent me home and said they didn't see any problems. I waited a couple of weeks to get a basic eye exam, and that's when they discovered my issue was Hypertensive retinopathy. Chandler Regional billed me 6k and the doctor 1k, and they were all pretty much useless at figuring out why my right eye had blind spots. This is what our health care is coming to. You can't even go to the Emergency Room and get answers, but they will still bill you a ton of money.

After getting checked in for a possible broken elbow, vitals were taken and MD examined. We were told the xray tech was in with someone and we would be next. We sat there for over an hour (I can't imagine one set of X-rays took an hour). X-rays were finally taken in less than 5 mins. Then after sitting another 30 mins, I asked how long it would be until someone could look at the xray. I was told "this is the part that takes a while" and that I "was lucky they were still on the day schedule because the night time wait time can be up to 4 hours." We waited about 20-30 mins then asked again how long it would be. They couldn't give me a TAT so we got up and left. We were there for over 2.5 hours to have 3 X-rays taken. And who knows how much longer it would have taken to have someone read the X-rays. I don't believe there were a large number of patients there at the time. The parking lot only had a few cars, waiting room was empty and the nurses desk outside the exam room had the same nurses/techs/MDs sitting there our entire wait. Their website says little to no wait. How healthcare should be. That was not my experience at all.

My Dignity Chandler experience in the observation area was horrible. the cubicles resemble cells…read more The ac froze me all night. Earlier staff were heard saying "68 is plenty warm for them ". This unit temp is centrally controlled at the nursing station. The ac vent for my cubicle was directly above my bed. I was admitted with pneumonia and sepsis. Cold air pouring down on my chest and very arthretic joints caused me unrelieved pain all night. I had on a hoodie and a fleece robe over my hospital gown. Staff brought heated thin blankets. They offered brief relief until they cooled down. I complained bitterly all night about the cold. I had the covers pulled up over my nose because even my nose was freezing! When day shift arrived the caregiver told me "I felt bad for you after I got home because you were so cold." She helped me go outside to get warm in the morning AZ sun. Getting warm eased my joint pain considerably. Coming in someone from day shift said to us, "the thermostat is right here. I'll turn it up". I'm sure the night shift considered me a problem patient because I complained bitterly all night about freezing and the cold increasing my arthritis pain. Why they would put up with a complaining cranky patient rather than turn the ac to 70 is beyond me. The nurse told me "we have 20 beds and only 2 bath rooms." They wanted me to use a bedside commode. I am old but ambulate at a quick pace with walker. The only relief I had from my ice box cubicle was walking to the bathroom. For safety they accompanied me. Staff let me know it was a major inconvenience to walk with me to the bathroom. Patients, especially elderly folks, can develop blood clots from not getting. Their convenience and comfort were more important than patients welfare! I have been a patient at Dignity Mercy. I have nothing but good to say about that experience. I was also a patient at This hospital Dignity Chandler for 5 days in June with pneumonia and sepsis. No complaints only praise. Because of this horrible freezing experience and judgemental uncaring night staff in the observation area. I will do everything I can to never come here again. Marlene Hickman

It's hard to review this overall because inside this entity it is broken out into different doctors…read morewith different specialties. So this review is strictly based on the overall facility, not pinpointing a certain office within as there are so many & I've only visited several. With that being said, Banner operates a decent, up to date practice that encompasses many specialities & the services here range from basic general care to advanced. The facility itself is very cleanly & well kept. Spacious with good lighting, the elevators are even at the "high tech" status with a digital screen. You'll also notice you don't even have to touch the door handles- there is a "wave" sensor that allows you to wave your hand near it & doors will open on demand. Great for avoiding germs! ...and masks are still required inside at all times. Not really a big deal & I do appreciate the diligence in keeping it as clean as possible for all patients & staff. Almost every employee I've encountered with Banner, here, has been accommodating & polite. They have a lot of patience for as many patients seen on the daily & I always appreciate their willingness to assist with any inquiries. Getting labs done is a breeze because it's offered at the same facility on site. In fact, a lot of my referrals have been just a door or floor away in the same building. Both campuses. It makes it easier on the patients & it is a lot better than many other establishments. I think Banner takes pride in their facilities. Yes, you are going to encounter a delay here or there & maybe a little longer of a wait than preferred- but I've witnessed myself how hard all the staff works to keep everything running & patients taken care of. There hasn't been a negative interaction or experience. Only a slight miscommunication when labs or paperwork was requested- and understandable when there is a very high volume of patients compared to overworked staff & a serious shortage of staff like many are experiencing. They've been very good to me & I somewhat "live" at these facilities seeing a host of different doctors & specialists. But the experience has by far been a lot better than many of the smaller practices. I appreciate the team here & for a change don't have major anxiety coming in to my appointments. I'm treated fairly, humane & genuinely cared for. Not just by the doctors but it starts with the greeter at the doors to the receptionists & everyone encountered. Compared to years ago, they've done a lot to improve and it shows. It is also very convenient this campus & the one just across the freeway a block down the road offers so many departments in each building you don't have to travel across the city to get what you need! Relatively happy with being an ongoing patient here & I would recommend- I have not had a doctor, nurse or any staff member make me feel less than a priority & it is much appreciated knowing they care and want to help.

These are my tests, paid for by me, they have no right to not get them to me regardless of whether "they are read". Haven't been to a hospital for probably 30 years. I will never go to Banner again and will tell as many people as possible my story. The people doing the testing are top notch. It's the Doctors and their staffs that are insolent and very much concerned with their own stature and positions.

Love the entrance driveway, roundabout and nicely done desert landscaping., Office experience 5/5+++ The main entrance and lobby is gorgeous. The large space is tastefully done in polished granite or similar stone with the center of the lobby has a design true to the hospital's mission. From the center of the Lobby you can look up several floors to the Mission Dome. Adjacent to the main lobby are other interesting side lobby's with Artwork, some depicting the Missions bones, SW Artwork, and a Wall-of-Fame 2006 photograph that captured nurses S who's now on our Medical Team. Nurse S and her husband were in the ER and Later that day transferred to a floor before undergoing a procedure to address their findings. The room was surprisingly spacious which easily competing six of us. It was a great visit with some truly amazing people we live dearly. This was my first visit to the hospital and from everything we observed and the care provided to Nurse S's husband I can see why they insisted on coming to Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.. Your "employees" barely speak English and are very rude and refuse to provide evidence of their claims that we owe more (after the balance was paid in full). When we asked for her name, she hung up on us so that we couldn't grab her name. You shouldn't be allowed to operate any business like you do, let alone one that supposedly is there to care for people's health care.

Backstory Short: My 74 year old mom fell and split her head open…read more We arrived at the Emergency Care and were immediately warmly greeted by the front end nurse/receptionists. A nurse came out and checked on my mom immediately to assess the level of trauma. Within 15 minutes of arriving they were escorting my mom to get a CT. Once she was placed in a bay someone came out and got me. The doctor came in a few minutes later, advised her CT was clear and explained she would need multiple stitches. After finishing he was trying to clean the blood out of her hair, it was literally the sweetest thing I had ever seen a doctor do. This was a very traumatic experience for my mom (and me) they treated her like a queen, kept her (us) calm and made it as pleasant as possible.

A ct should've never been done initially for stomach pain but we were told no ultrasound was available. Well that said ct was over $4000!!! This billing IS UNETHICAL!!! Truly heartbreaking to see the medical system take advantage here. How do you go from $613 (saying this is all we will owe) to over $7000 yet have no one to speak to?!? Truly heartbreaking to see when the doctor was extremely nice but apparently had no idea of the financial corruption at this location. I'm writing this to save someone else the time and aggravation. I took the chance and came in to oasis. Admission took about 7 hours on a Saturday afternoon I called before I came in. I stayed there about 6 days. It was my first stay at a behavioral hospital. Many of the staff really made a impact on me the kindness they showed me and encouragement meant a lot. Special shout out to Lucy and all the people in the Rec/art room. I can't thank them enough. A lot of them played games with us it was so nice. It made a world of difference! My social worker Yolanda was also amazing! The rules were sometimes tedious but I definitely understand why some are in place so I just made the best of the situation. Some of people in there don't want to be in there so instead of trying to get better they look for someone to blame. I didn't see any physical fights but a few people who were detoxing from drugs/ alcohol were very short tempered when they didn't get what they wanted. I was in there for suicide/depression so it was hard to deal with the angry outbursts at times. When my previous roommate left I got a new roommate who said scary things in her sleep and was detoxing it was difficult to sleep at times. I'm feeling better although still struggling I feel more equipped to handle life they helped me make a counseling appointment and connected me with other resources. When you need help please just get yourself somewhere and fight your hardest to get better. You matter!

They shine their iPads on you to find the damn thing and it wakes you up every 15 minutes. The toilets didn't flush when I got there and took a whole day to fix. They are supposed to get a code from outside callers and my ex didn't have the code and got through twice. It was a nightmare because the receptionist told my fiance when he was visiting that my ex called!! There was no privacy at all and blew that hippo law. They treat patients like trash. They never did anything for me. Stuck me with 2 roommates that talked all night loud and one that snored very loud. I got not an hour to sleep. The doctor was playing games I requested to leave. And wouldn't see me to make sure I was ok to leave. They through me out embarrassed me and didn't give me discharge papers also said I didn't bring any medicine in. They finally gave me my medicine back Came home to the next few days to my insurance company saying they would pay for my stay but oasis added on 2 extra days. These people are sick. The patient advocate did nothing for me. I am not done with them. Google them they have had lawsuits. I would definitely go back to Banner they gave me my own room and treated me nice!

And the Medical Assistant was there to assist him. They were both very nice and helpful. If you are nervous, the Dr. asks and engages you in conversation to make you feel at ease. I highly recommend this Dr. for what he specializes in to make your Dr. appointments easy. Just praying to get good results next week.

First and last visit to this facility. Highly disappointed.
