After being fairly happy with Dr Abdul Azeez for the past few years, disappointed to have had a very negative experience. In an attempt to get my birth control, which she has prescribed for years, refilled, I was informed rudely by the admin staff that it could not be refilled without an appointment. I asked for one month prescription to hold me over while I scheduled an appointment and was told no. I explained that I didn't receive a reminder or prompt to schedule so I didn't realize I was due for an appointment. Admin staff again rudely said it would not be prescribed until I had an appointment. I asked when the doctor was available and was told she is leaving town for two weeks the end of this week. I again expressed concern about that, was put on a long hold and then told the Dr would see me the next day before leaving town. While I appreciate them offering an appointment, it's not easy to clear my work schedule last minute. Disappointments: -Denial of even a one month bridge of my birth control which has been prescribed by her for years. -No reminder or alert that I was due for my annual exam which was going to be required for the refill. -Only one day available (the next day) to get me in for said appointment within the next 2 weeks. -And incredibly rude admin staff who did not seem empathetic to the situation. read more

Working in Healthcare myself for over 22yrs as a Medical Assistant I guess I just expect more from the Front office or MA's. I saw the doctor the first time a few years ago and loved it, he was very helpful and gave a 4 stars but because of his staff I have to change that to a 1. Your staff can make or break your practice. I was in over a year ago and never received my referrers after numerous calls and the one I did recieve was wrong and still never got the correct one. Then, I came into the office with some abnormal lab, after sitting in the lobby for 10mins and being ignored and watching the two girls show off there new manicures and talk about their husband's or boyfriend's she finally opens the glass and rudely says " the doctor is not in, what did you need" sking if I should make an appt or if he could take a look at them she said she would scan them in and I never heard a work?? That was a year ago. Nothing! Abnormal labs? I was left a msg last night saying I need to make an appt because they got a ref renewal for me. I call today to let the same girl know I would not be returning. She just says "oh ok thanks" As a MA I would like to know why a patient is leaving my practice to report back to my provider considering it has to do with his staff. read more

I had the worst experience visiting Dr. Abdul Aziz. I made an appointment, showed up on time and ended up waiting almost 2 hours in the room to see the doctor. I was experiencing pain in my wrists and she literally spent 10 minutes with me trying to figure out the root cause. During this time she was googling the anatomical structure of the wrist trying to determine a diagnosis. Although she was a nice person and apologized profusely for having me wait that long, googling in front of your patient is just plain ridiculous! In the end, she told me to take an Advil come back if the pain persists. Got a bill in the mail for $215 for 10 min consult + google. I ended up finding another doctor. read more

Called to get a schedule in because i just turned 21 so obviously i have to get checked. i looked at the reviews and was skeptical after reading Matthews review, i don't know who he spoke with but it was definitely NOT Jasmine. I spoke with her just now and she was LOVELY! She answered all the questions i had and made me feel at ease with getting a check up soon. She's the best! usually i don't like setting up appointments bc the receptionist are usually rude but not this one. Great work ethic Jasmine and exceptional customer service! read more

ALWAYS takes the time to talk. She really personally cares about her patients. I've never had to wait to see the doctor. She schedules patients with plenty of time to spend one on one. You will always see the doctor and not a nurse practitioner. read more

Dr. Abdul is the best PCP I have ever had. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She takes the time to discuss all of my issues and all possible options and answer all of my questions; she is not rushed to cram in as many patients as possible (like so many doctors), nor impatient with my questions. She does not CYA or run up the bill with endless tests, follow-ups, and referrals. She has been extremely helpful in dealing with problematic specialists. She is a very delightful doctor to work with. Highly recommend. read more

Front desk receptionist needs a lesson in customer service. Last thing a patient needs is someone with an attitude when you aren't feeling well. Plenty of good people out there looking for a good job who would gladly be happy to assist people with a smile on their face. She is combative and rude. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr.Abdul! She's amazing and super kind. She has a different approach than others and that's okay. The only time she is googling with our appointments is to show us pictures and diagrams so we understand what is going on at an anatomical level. It's so easy for someone just to say here's what you have thank you have a nice day. But she gets you pictures to see what you are dealing with. The googling also is to look for more of a general way to explain things. I in my opinion think it's awesome. She really is a gem and I think it really depends on the preference of service you're looking for. :) read more

I have been a patient of your office since August 2016. I have been on-time to both of my appointments and followed every instruction given to me. I was strong-armed to get my flu shot when I was seen in November and paid an additional $91 to my insurance for the flu shot coming out of your office vs. a minute clinic where it would have been free EVEN THOUGH your staff assured me it would be covered. I recently accepted a new position and they are requiring that I get another flu shot prior to my start date OR furnish proof of my flu shot. I haven't received any documentation or a phone call back acknowledging my several messages. I understand being busy and I understand not viewing this as a urgent request - HOWEVER - you are a medical practice and a shitty one at that. Regardless of what YOU view as urgent - EVERY patient should be treated with the same amount of respect, understanding and timely assistance. I have had the terrible misfortune of dealing with your front office staff both times I've been in. They are often wrapped up in themselves and their own chatter to even so much as smile at anyone walking through the door. I had 2 options - get a SECOND and completely unfucking necessary flu shot OR go down to your office, be greeted by nobody and treated like a nuisance to get the proof needed by my new employer. I opted for the 2nd shot. I will also be opting for a new medical office and sharing this experience with anyone who will listen. read more

Been going here for at least a year and haven't had a bad experience. Dr Abdul-Azeez is very pleasant and helpful, awesome bedside manner and she has the ability to put you right at ease. No complaints w front desk so far, and been lucky enough to not have had any billing or scheduling issues. read more

Not recomended. I have been receiving non payment letters from Dr. Arojojoye's office and collection agency, despite the fact i owe nothing! My insurance company handled this issue for me. But again i received another letter last week saying i have some payment due. Had to deal it with once again. Good Lady in the front office took care of it. Dr. Oyesiji A. Arojojoye is very kind, patient, and understanding. His reviews on zocdoc were great. I was a bit nervous beacuse I hadn't seen a doctor in a very long time. Many doctors offices that I've been to in the past felt rushed and the doctor never seemed to truly listen. Prescribing me what he felt but never really explaing the reasons why. Dr. Oyesiji A. Arojojoye was so different, he has a love for people and wants to help them, educating them on why things are needed and had a plan for me. I felt valued and cared about. He is an intelligent man! I have never experience a doctor like him. I'm really happy I decided to chose him and his practice. I don't think id ever see another doctor again! He is truly one of the best! read more
