The best thing I ever did was go see Dr. Lutz four years ago I was 290 pounds I was on all kinds of medication. She basically told me that she did not want to give me all that medication that it was killing me. Dr. Lutz and her whole team have been amazing, from Amber, Katherine and Eddyline at the front to her MAs in the back are all very friendly and efficient. The office is clean and has a warm atmosphere. Shirley or Berry are always quick to see me and were excellent at drawing my blood. I started the weight loss program and already lost 9 lbs over 4 weeks. I can't wait to be back for Botox and Morpheus treatments. Dr. Lutz is very thorough and is always on top my lab work and any prescriptions I need filled. She truly cares about her patients and is passionate about her practice. High disorganization and poor communication has caused me to find a new doctor. On several instances, my emails were not answered, my medical forms for work were filled out incorrectly and my messages were relayed incorrectly. Further, during a follow-up appt, doctor did not go over results of a test, causing me to have to make an additional appt where the office would bill my insurance (again). It took me explaining what happened for the office to apologize and not bill my insurance. Needless to say, I cancelled my final appt just to receive an appt reminder the following week. This is yet another instance where I was not listened to. I called and the response was, "It must've been a mistake. It's cancelled now." If I had not been paying attention, my insurance would have been billed for this appt. Find care elsewhere. read more

I came in two times and both times the office was behind. I made AM appointments (1st or 2nd of the day) and waited over an hour for the first appt, while fasting, and over 30 minutes in the lobby, then an additional 15 minutes in the room the second time. I even asked the front desk if it was normal to wait so long and she replied "well what's long, you've been waiting like 10 minutes?" I corrected her, that my appt was at 8.45 and it was now 9.20 so it was much more than 15 minutes and she just said, "well then yeah I guess it's normal." She didn't even bother apologizing! Then, the clinic seems to be obsessed with weight loss, botox, and other types of services. I think it's inappropriate for a healthcare worker to wear a shirt that has a catchy slogan that promotes cosmetic procedures. Let each person do what they want, but I would like my healthcare provider to be more professional and less "let's make you skinny and wrinkle free" as their focus. Next, I really liked my provider as a person, but my appt felt rushed and when my labs came back she basically just gave me a few prescription options without actually discussing what the labs mean or looking at root cause. Additionally, she totally missed a hormone imbalance. If she had asked where I was in my cycle when the blood was drawn, she would have seen it right away. I went to another provider with my labs and she immediately pointed it out. If she hadn't been so rushed because already at 8am they are operating an hour behind schedule, maybe she would have had time to see that? Lastly, I got a bill from my insurance for over 300 dollars due out of pocket for my labs. When I called them they told me it was because of how the clinic billed. They bill at an extremely high rate, way more than the market average. For reference they billed my insurance over 3000 dollars for routine labs - my insurance said comparable lab prices are around 500-800 for the same labs. Since my labs are covered 100% after deductible, I am left with a 300 dollar bill, because thankfully my deductible is low. However, if it was higher, I could have had to foot the whole bill! So be careful of this if you get blood work here, make sure you know what your plan pays for labs and be prepared to pay the difference due to their high billing rate. I have to say, I would give my provider another chance but the office itself killed it for me and I won't be back. If you want just another money hungry, pill pushing doctor, this is the place for you. If you want genuine care that gets to the root of your issue and sees you as a holistic being, look elsewhere. read more

Was looking for a doctor to clear up a few things I put off due to Covid. Went to yelp, found this place and gave them a shot. Was impressed from the minute I walked in. I like the staff here and that blood work is done in house but the wait times are ridiculous. First appt waited almost an hour second time over 30 min and when I asked if it's normal to always wait so long the receptionist asked me "what's a long time?" And then minimized the time. I corrected her time, and then proceeded to wait another 25 min to see the dr. In all over 1 hr waiting again... I think it's time I find a new doctors office! Update: unfortunately I also got a huge bill for the blood work bc they charge way more than "standard" pricing and I had to cover the rest. Won't be going back. read more

Had to get a recent physical for school. Getting an appointment was easy and within a reasonable time frame. Constant appointment reminders are a plus. Front office staff is professional. However Dr. Lutz's male medical assistant has always made very inappropriate comments to me every time he has roomed me. Today was my first visit to the office. staff and Dr. Lutz. They did send me a text message asking for a very brief review,of course it was an easy 5 stars. But I decided that didn't really do the team justice so I went on Yelp and no surprise their overall team rating is also a 5 star. I only do reviews when the service is really great or really bad. I try to use specifics either way to give credibility to the review. Because I always read reviews on all businesses or services before going, I can tell when someone is not giving a serious review, so can owners. When the review is a one star and has profane comments or just ignorant complaints and no real issue, I move on, again so do owners/managers, as they do respond to a serious review especially if it's a bad one. I'm happy to say that the Lutz team has easily earned my praise. From the time I arrived I had time to sit and listen. When you overhear every customer pretty much saying the same thing, again and again, " you guys are best" or "we love coming here, you take such great care of us", you observe a pattern of great behaviors and service towards the customers. And it got better for me, I was brought in by Barry, hope I got his name right, who was personable and professional and took me through all of the pre screening and finished with drawing blood for the lab work. Then Dr. Lutz came in with associate/assistant to complete my annual physical exam. She covered all the info I had provided and listened carefully to my questions and comments and my own physical history. She does have a habit of using "my friend" a lot, buts it's actually very enduring. It's the kind of infectious positivity that all of the team members show. I also noticed how busy they are as the office was packed on my way out. I felt fortunate that I was not only able to get an appointment for my first visit, but also to be seen by Dr. Lutz. She is really a caring and attentive doctor, rare these days, great bedside manner even though I was sitting on a comfy sofa. As doctor's visit go, it was pain free and a funny friendly experience, I say funny because my birthdate went from 1992, to 1972, to my correct birthdate of 1952, but they made me younger, it could have been older! During this time of the year, it was hard to get a medical appointment at any facility. Luckily, I found Lutz Get Healthy because it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I called first thing when the office opened and to my surprise, they were able to schedule my whole family as new patients for the same day. The office was very new and clean. So far so good. My wife and one of my daughters went there after I researched (as well as I could) medical practitioners who are patient centric. It was also important for the ladies in my life to have someone who could see their side more easily, which generally means female. In any case, I got nothing but good reviews from my family about this practice, and since I wasn't too happy with my doctor I decided to give this practice a try. I'm glad I did and so far I have been very pleasantly surprised of how patient oriented everyone is. I don't need to be prescribed a pill for every single malady that comes along. I want my doctor to take the very conservative route of trying every alternative available before medication becomes the necessity. In this case I believe I've found the right person and I would highly recommend Victoria Lutz (Vicky) and her staff...of course unless you need to be prescribed a wonder pill for every thing that ails you...in that case I have another recommendation and the reason I left that individual to come here. read more

A breath of fresh air!!! Dr. Lutz and her entire crew are well like something out of the past! What going to your doctor used to be like. By that I mean she makes your health care personal! When you call her office someone in her office answers the phone! No call centers, no portals, her team! The team that gets to know you more with every call and every visit! You are not a number in her office, every team member that I have interacted with takes their time to get to know you as a person. Each one is passionate about their role they are playing in your healthcare. I am writing this review as someone who has been in a direct patient care role for the last 22 years and has been searching for a PCP and an office that remembers what healthcare is supposed to be, A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. Not something that fits inside of a box that a Board of Directors and Executives have drawn the lines for. Dr. Lutz and her team take the time to listen to what you are saying and together with your input out together figure out what is best for you, what is or could be going on with you. If you have something going on she looks at the whole picture and if that picture is unclear she puts in the extra effort and time it takes to really try and determine what is going on and does not just throw a dozen different medications at you that "may" fix what is happening.
