The staff are ok, the doctor is no good...I agree to Julie R.'s review, everything she wrote on her review is true.

Dr. Tsai and the lovely one medical team, thank you for being the only ones who took their time and…read morereally deeply cared for me. I had been going through 6 years of er visits, urgent care, specialists and former primary care for 9 years for horrible stomach issues but mainly the upper right quadrant pain. When everyone else kept turning me away and treating me as a hypochondriac, dr. Tsai did not...he did anything and everything and even more than I ever could have imagined. Two months ago, things got so severe I was praying to wake up and be with my family for another day...I've never felt so close to death. Immediately got me into urgent screening (even though their wait was two weeks) and a day later called the top surgeon and got me in...tests showed really nothing too bad but it was the exact opposite once they opened me up...one of the worst they have seen and have no idea how it's gone undetected for 6 years even just two days prior to my surgery. When you see him, he addresses everything even if you're there for one issue and he sees an issue like a cold, he won't let you go until he has checked everything to make sure you are leaving the office 100% Ontop of that, he has been so thoughtful as to check in with me every step of the way since I've been his patient to make sure I am okay. The patients are his #1 priority and care. I will stay with him for life! I could go on and on for a 10 page letter for him and how over the top wonderful this man is! I also have seen barb on multiple occasions and, wow oh wow..what a personality and sympathy she has for her patients..my husband is her patient and it's so nice to have both doctors working with each other for our family. she is always making sure everything is going good, no matter what the situation. Keeping in touch with me about his care and vise versa Ontop of that the One Medical staff members have always been there to answer calls for questions, concerns paperwork and they are always on top of it and they really get to know you personally. It's nice to walk in and get greeted by my name and to see such lovely bright faces so happy to see me. We can not wait for them to open their pediatric rooms next year...the second they do, our son will be a patient for life as well. One medical staff, dr. Tsai, and barb you guys really have touched our hearts in so many ways it's like family. If you want care, that really cares, and goes above and beyond for you in anyway possible with always feeling like you are loved as a patient please please please come here and switch your medical group. Thanks for saving my life, and my husbands! Bless everyone at one medical and your hearts of gold!

When is he going to down his fake 5-star reviews? He has the worst bedside manner as a doctor and…read moreis extremely creepy. Just look at his picture--he actually does LOOK like that. He rushed out of us once his office took our hefty copay. It was really sad to receive poor medical care in the US when we already paid so much more than in other countries.

One Medical is an interesting place to review because... it's not a restaurant, and it's not an…read moreentertainment place. But it's a place you go to see a doctor. And in the spirit of Yelp... I review everything. Including... walk-in doctor's offices. So, I'm a One Medical user, and I've used it for about six months. This is my home location, and I'm definitely a fan. One of the main things I like about it is how you can get labs done by just walking in anytime. You don't need an appointment. You just walk in and wait. If there's a line, they can give you a time to come back. Or, if there's no line, you can just sit in the waiting room. It's very nice to have a lab on site, and you don't have to deal with the whole Sonora Quest adventure that a lot of us Arizonans deal with. I've seen two nurse practitioners there. Both of them were helpful. And not only did they show good bedside manner--if I'm able to use that term, despite not actually being in a hospital bed--but they also were quick to respond to my messages on the app. The service here is painless. No pun intended. It's easy to make an appointment. Their app is very well-designed. And this location is clean and friendly. I would recommend One Medical if you're looking for a simple primary care experience.

The providers are top notch. I've been a patient for 8 years or so and my child has been a patient…read morefor maybe 6. We always get the best care and follow-through. But whoever is handling the billing lately is so rude, am not sure what happened. Maybe they outsourced it? I've never had an issue until recently. I called to clarify a charge that didn't seem like it was coded correctly. The person I spoke to on the phone was obviously busy with so many other things in the background and seemed annoyed and said she'd pass along my concern. I asked in the app and the person who replied was extremely rude as well, when I was just looking for clarification. Apparently a Saturday appointment triggers an extra $87 charge as "after hours" even though that was never disclosed and it shows on the website that they are opening alternate Saturdays (again with no mention of it being an extra fee or extra hours.) It wasn't an emergency and we didn't need to go on a Saturday. I just think that it should be disclosed somewhere that an extra fee will be incurred. My first inquiry in the app received a very patronizing "non-answer" to my question. The AI in the app is great but it doesn't handle billing. AI isn't always helpful but at least it's not rude or insulting. After the back and forth, I logged in to pay the balance that I should not have owed, but I chalked it up to a lesson learned. It showed zero balance. That was a few weeks ago, and today I got a bill in the mail showing the outstanding balance again. The providers and the quality of care are amazing. I just felt insulted the way I was treated by the billing people, and that's left a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely recommend One Medical but be warned that billing might be a hassle now that I guess it's being handled by new people.
