Weaver's is my local hardware store and I remember going here when I was a kid before it burned…read moredown in 1996 and was rebuilt. I go here to get keys cut and to buy things for small household projects, like caulk and pipe fittings. They sell Simple Green cleanser by the gallon and a full line of canning supplies. They also have a great selection of paint and are a Yankee Candle authorized retailer, which is hilarious since it's a hardware store, but also great since I can get a last minute gift here. Some items are priced more than other stores. The thing is, do you want to drive to reading to buy pipe insulation to save $12 or do you just want to get it from a local place and skip the traffic? If you are buying a lot of stuff maybe price shop, but if you are rushing to the store in the middle of a project that has gotten away from you they have most anything you would need. Another tip- you can drop off UPS packages here and send faxes for a small fee. The one disappointment is that I can't find kitchen aid mixer attachments here anymore, but I still come here for seeds, water softener crystals and propane refills. The best thing about Weaver's is the staff. They are helpful and knowledgeable, but they aren't too clingy and never up-sell you. There are just people kind of hanging around that you can flag down if you can't find the mineral oil or need help getting 50 lbs of birdseed to your car.

They have it all! If they don't have it they can help you figure things out. I love this place.read more

My husband and I came here to buy a Christmas tree krinner. The old tree holder we've been using…read more is all rusted and our tree wasn't staying up in it this year, it kept leaning back and almost falling over. So we rushed here to get here like an hour before they closed on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, because they are closed on Sundays. We made it in time and I had time to look at all the seasonal decor. It was a very nice store with a lot of decorations. I ended up buying a few twinkling starburst/snowflake lights. I was looking for these. My mom bought some at target but these looked better. I hung them on my front porch. The prices weren't bad either. Also picked up another set of bubble lights. The staff were very friendly as well. We tried to come back this Saturday to see if there was any discounted Xmas decorations left while we were in the area looking at Christmas lights. The yelp time wasn't right, yelp said they closed at 8:00. But on their website and on google it said 6:00. My husband's the one that told me it closed at 8. Next time I'll have to look myself , he never double checks anything. He probably lied to me on purpose because he doesn't want me to buy more Xmas decorations, haha. We'll have to try to make it back again another time soon. And I will definitely be back to check out other seasonal decor.

Seemed decent when we shopped there. Had a tight timeline for what we needed but it was 3 cabinets…read moreand they said since nothing was custom we could have them in a week. Day for pickup, no call from them as order wasn't on truck. Finally spoke with someone, said 3 more days which was 1 day before install was scheduled. No communication from them on the 2nd scheduled day. Multiple calls to them and they didn't know if the order was on the truck coming or not. Couldn't find it anywhere. Their truck came at 3pm and no call from them. Called at 4, person didn't know so I demanded a call back as the rented truck I had gotten would need to be returned. Called me back 20 minutes later, no order on truck. Didn't know where it was or if order was even completed. Said they won't know until next week where the cabinets are or even if the order was filled. Wrote a check to avoid their ridiculous CC fees so I can't even dispute the charge. Hundreds of dollars wasted on non-sense that was avoidable with minimal communication. Flooring will have to be installed first and then cut up to accommodate the island cabinets if I ever get them. Miserable experience.

Early that week I learned that I would have no help moving it from my driveway to the woodpile so attempted to get them to postpone delivery by a week. Needless to say I asked to postpone by a week and they were indignant. When I called too reschedule, I was told they were booked up. If these people were in the 20th century, let alone the 21st, communication would have arrived on time and they would not have had an unnecessary load. I would never consider doing business with these people again.
