sad to say after many many many years of being a huge Heebys fan and customer - I may have made my last purchase. bought 7 windows, one was damaged. husband went to exchange. employees were BEYOND RUDE. one even asking my husband if he wanted to "take it outside". what sort of pathetic person does that. That employee needs another non customer oriented job. woman behind desk, no better. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I can no longer in good conscience suggest Heebys to others. so very sad. We are renovating a few Apartment units and Heeby's was suggested by another contractor. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices. We found the employees friendly and helpful. Despite the long drive to get to the location, we were satisfied with our vanity top selection. Wish we knew about this place before we installed new exterior doors. Heeby's is awesome for building supplies, etc. They specialize in selling manufacturers' surplus inventory, overstocks, etc. Some of their stuff is pretty consistent, but you never really know what new stuff they'll have. It's worth stopping by from time to time just to see. I got some really nice granite countertops for cheap. read more

Went there to purchase doors for our home. I was able to locate the size of the doors I wanted. When I began to pull the doors out several of their workers jumped in to load the cart/buggy. I instructed them which stack I wanted and they told me to get my truck and pull it to the door. I was only getting 5 doors so by the time I backed it up to the door they were already there. I lowered my tailgate and began to load the doors. In the meantime my wife was instructed to go in to the cashier and pay for the doors. When we got home and I unloaded the doors I then realized the guys at Heeby's pulled the wrong doors. I now have 5 doors that are taller than what my actual doors are. Upon calling and explaining to Heeby's they said that have a strict no return/refund/exchange policy. I explained how it was their workers who pulled the wrong product and they did not want to hear it. I will no longer make the drive to go out there and give them any business!!! read more

We're redoing our kitchen and found Heeby's Surplus online. There was a kitchen backsplash that we saw online and fell in love with and they had it in stock!! Their website seemed to be accurate and well maintained. We went to the store and they were very well staffed. An employee helped us load and transport the heavy boxes. The staff was very kind and helpful which made all the difference. Overall, I'm happy with our trip. It was a great experience and we will definitely refer it to people and be returning in the future. read more

0 stars if they'd let me! I don't remember the last time I went somewhere that you walk in, and even though 4 employees are standing right there, nobody says hi or offers to assist you. My husband asked more than once where something was, and a guy would walk over to the item and then walk away. I've never seen so many workers standing around doing nothing, and not offering to help. The supplies were all a "good price" because you could tell the quality was really cheap. Really disappointed we drove 30 mins for this place. I will make sure to recommend no one wastes their time here! read more

Awful customer service!! Would not return a poorly constructed sink for a refund or for store credit just weeks after purchase!! Stated that they do not take returns under ANY circumstance - ALL SALES FINAL! JUST AWFUL to rip people off like that! Buyer beware! I would not use them again. Infact - we saw an almost identical sink at lowes a few days later for $40 less!
