Unfortunately, this experience was nothing like our past ones. We provided the salesperson with exact room measurements (11'4" × 11'6"), explained that the tack strips were already installed, and were told that the usual $65 concrete installation fee would not apply. Based on that, we placed a $750 deposit on a $1,031.57 purchase, with the understanding that we would pay the installer $55 upon completion. Two weeks before installation, we received a call demanding full payment upfront. When we asked why, we were told they had been "defrauded by customers" and now require payment in advance. This was never mentioned during the sale. We went to the store to pay the balance and questioned why the confirmation email listed both the $55 installation fee and the $65 concrete fee. We were told the original sales order was "only an estimate," another detail never disclosed. When the manager finally approached, he simply presented paperwork for a refund, minus a $50 "measurement fee." The shifting charges, contradictory explanations, and dismissive management made it clear this store does not operate with transparency or professionalism. We took our business to a local carpet store instead and had a smooth, honest experience. Carpet & Tile Mart has deceptive staff, unresponsive management and their hiring practices clearly need improvement. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

Remita documented that Bastian left a heating iron on the carpet too long causing the pad and carpet to be stuck together, therefore ripple kept getting worse over time. There are so many reputable companies in the Lehigh Valley. This was an experience from start to finish that I wouldn't want anyone else to experience.

Additionally, we contracted them to complete our flooring job from a distance as we are currently residing in Texas while they worked on our home in PA.
