My call was immediately returned by Richard Diehl himself and we discussed what I had in mind. He was able to locate my driveway via Google Earth and we had a great conversation about the project. The amount he quoted me was very fair considering the scope of work to be performed and after I hung up the phone, I received a contract via email - I immediately sent a deposit check. The job was completed yesterday and I can honestly say with no reservation that it was about as smooth as it could be. The finished product is beautiful and not only does it increase the value of my property but it will make this winter a whole lot easier when snow-plowing becomes necessary. Richard Diehl Paving Company does business the way it should be done. Excellent work, Gentlemen!

We recently had Randy Diehl come to our house and do an estimate. They sent us a contract which…read morewas to let us know everything they were planning on doing. We contacted Randy again and asked him for a more detailed contract. He flat out refused to do it. Randy is unprofessional, rude and basically said he would not send another quote. He went off on my husband and proceeded to tell him he didn't need this shit, we know what we are doing and that they have been in business for half a century. So this is how you speak to a potential customer?? We have the right to know the process (step by step) which is being done to our driveway. So we were to pay him cash and not even know what they were about to do. I DON'T THINK SO !!!! Beware !! Please be careful when hiring this contractor. Get everything is writing!!!

If I could give less stars I would. This is NOT normal for a…read more2 year old kitchen. I'm beyond disgusted with the money we spent. Doors falling off, cheap hinges, cabinets paint started chipping immediately, bubbling and peeling at top & bottoms of the cabinets. I spent so much time on specifics on how I wanted drawers and cabinets and they did mostly what they wanted anyway. This is unacceptable. I mentioned the paint chipping immediately and they told me it was normal wear and tear. It had literally only been a week since they had installed. I'm so extremely upset at how much worse this has gotten in such a short amount of time. Do not waste your time or money here.

We chose S & G Asphalt to replace our existing driveway on our steep property, which was rapidly…read moreeroding from years of traffic and water flow. Tony was diligent in taking measurements to determine what needed to be done to ensure that our new driveway would be not only beautiful but durable, routing rain runoff so as not to erode in the years ahead. Two teams were dispatched for our project; one to prep and a second to lay the new asphalt. Both teams were respectful, enthusiastic, and meticulous, and four days later we are enjoying a beautiful new driveway. The curb appeal of our home vastly improved. I cannot recommend this company enough. Fair prices, outstanding work ethic, attention to detail, customer service. Look no further. Thank you so much, Tony and your teams

After three attempts to request an estimate for our driveway sealcoating, S & G finally contacted…read moreme. They did a satellite estimate. I agreed to the cost of the job and a date for doing the job was set. The date was an advantage to S & G as I explained that they were doing a sealcoating job for my neighbor, two doors down (no second trip involved). The sealcoating job was decent. They were careful not to get anything on the garage door or pavers. Upon closer look the next day, I noticed some white spots on the driveway (one larger than others). I sent S & G a photo of the larger spot and asked for a response to this. This was around 7/27. Between 7/27 and 8/18, I was told, twice, that the photos were forwarded to the guys who did the job and someone would contact me. After nearly three weeks later and not being contacted, I told S & G that I do not want any further contact and I am considering my issue closed. They contacted me anyway and set 8/21 as a day that someone would stop by the house. I waited all day and no one showed up. On 8/21, I said my patience had run out and I, absolutely, do not want anyone contacting me. My 3 star rating is, basically, for the amount of time it took getting an estimate and the lack of follow-up to the photos that I sent.
